A while back, I used to spend most of my time writing stories and posting them on fanfiction.net. However, shortly before finding GC, I lost my interest in the stories I had created and just stopped writing altogether. I got into roleplaying, and my desire to write stories of my own just kind of left me. But recently, thanks to some members here and to all of the novels I've been obsessed with reading lately, I feel like writing again. I just need some help choosing what to write about. So since I plan on posting my stories here for now, I thought I'd ask you guys what you'd like to see, or even ask for suggestions as to what kinds of stories you are interested in. Here are some ideas that came to me over time that I have written down:

- Mamoru is drafted in World War III, forced to fight for his country and leave Usagi behind in Japan.
- AU story where Serenity is a young girl whose mother left her with Haruka Tenoh and Michiru Kaioh when she was just a baby. I have lots of ideas for this one, but I don't want to give too much away.
- Usagi is diagnosed with cancer.
- Motoki is Jadeite.
- Remember how Mamoru was in that car accident, and Usagi met him when her mom was giving birth to Shingo? I was thinking I could write a story where when Usagi meets Mamoru that day, he's still in a coma. So she would continue to see him every day, until he wakes up somewhere in her teenage years.
- Villain backstories.
- Usagi travels back in time, but returns to find she had been gone for 200 years.
- Other reincarnations of Serenity & Endymion (so this would expand to hundreds of universes, MLP, TLoZ, practically anything).

I would really appreciate feedback on this (: I would love to continue writing again and I think getting your guys' opinions would be a great help!

Ohhhh, it's great to see that you want to continue writing again. Since I know your roleplay posts, I'm sure your fanfictions will be amaaaazing (:

Anyway, I'd love to read a story with Usagi having cancer (because: sooo much angst) as well as some villain backstories. Some villains didn't get enough backstory in the SM canon and I would love to see what you come up with (: The time traveling story sounds interesting to me too!

Since I am addicted to angst, the ones that attracted me the most are:

I'd recommend Usagi being diagnosed with cancer along with villain backstories.

I like the ones mercury mentioned, plus the motoki as jadeite one. Mmmmmm angst at having to kill your first crush. *homer drooling noises*

I'm probably not helpful, because I think a lot of these ideas have some great potential!

I personally like the Usagi time travelling one, because there is so much that you could work with. The one with Mamoru being in a coma sounds like a good idea, too. As does the reincarnations one, because again, so many directions to go in!

Motoki as Jadeite made me laugh too, and I think that's something that I've never read  before.

I personally wouldn't read a Usagi has cancer story, but that's just because there's been so much of it in my family, and I don't feel comfortable reading stories about it.

Thank you all so much for your input! I think that I'll start off with Usagi getting cancer, since that seemed to be a common choice. 

@dreamsinpink - I understand completely. Cancer is prevalent in my family as well, which is part of the reason why the idea came to mind. I think it would help me to write about it and use the story as an outlet for my feelings and experiences. But I totally see why someone would be uncomfortable with it.

I can totally see how using it as an outlet would help! It'll also make it a lot more personal, since you have the experience of it. Good luck with the story!

That's a good way to get your feelings out. I usually always use fan fics as an outlet for my feelings and experiences. I read somewhere that even writing about negative things is a positive thing to do.
