| It's tough being a new member. It's scary. But here in GC, whenever you sign up and make an introduction thread, you'll always be swarmed - yes, swarmed! - by warm welcomes that make you happy and want to stay here forever. I remember when I was new myself, so many people welcomed me, I immediately felt like I had a bunch of new friends, all excited to see me. It's truly one of the best part of GC. A lot of our members are regular welcomers of new members. And for that, we need to thank and honor them, for making our lovely newbies feel immediately at home and loved. The nominees for GC Welcomer are: Juliko, Diana, Artemis, and Princess Moon! All of these ladies are always ready to say hi to a new member and welcome them with open arms! It is because of their friendliness that we manage to be such an inviting place to new people. But only one reigns supreme. The one who brings the welcomest of welcomes. (Yes, I know that's not a real word, just roll with it) - And the Stars of the Cauldron Award goes to…:

I could tell you were very deserving of this award, because I went back and checked my Intro thread (can you tell my only life is on the Internet?), and yes, you were there - even though I'm old as time (is that a Sailor Pluto joke?). You've been honing your welcomes ever since to make them better, and now they're the idealest (pardon me for making up another word, but I figured if Sailor Mercury can, why can't I?). |
