The story: The Dark Kingdom has fallen and the girls can now live their lives like normal teenagers. Luna and Artemis watched over the girls and vow to never reawakened their memories. One evening Luna and Artemis are taking a walk in a park. They suddenly came across Nephrite! Alarmed the cats follow him and discover that the other generals are alive. The four men are living together and are living like teenagers. They believe they are brothers and have no memories of the past. The cats decide to keep an eye on them just in case. Then one night a yoma attacks the city. Luna tries to fight it off but it's no use. She runs off for her life and ends up running into Kunzite. She awakens his memories and begs for his help. She does not want to get the girls involved. Kunzite helps and kills the yoma. After the battle, Luna and Kunzite have a long chat about the Silver Millennium and the Dark Kingdom. Now that he is free from Beryl he agrees to help Luna whenever he can. Weeks go by and more and more yomas appear. Kunzite is struggling to fight them and has Luna awaken the other generals. As the fight continues the generals and cats discover the the reason behind the rogue yomas. A woman name Selena who has a connection to the Moon Kingdom. 

Goal: The generals must protect the city from rouge yomas. Plus a new foe will appear. The girls must never get involved.

Ding Dong Ding Dong


As the Juuban high school bell was ringing students were getting up of their desks and making their way home or going to their clubs. Another day of long classes was finally over. Most of students were high in spirits. Spring was in the air and the cherry blossoms were blooming.

In class room 10-A most students were hanging around talking about going to a cherry blossom viewing over the weekend. The only student who was not partaking in the conversation was a boy named Zoisite. He tend to keep to himself because he felt his classmates weren't worth his time. The only people he talked in this school were his brothers and his classical music club mates.

He rose from his chair and placed his school bag on his shoulder. He then left the room and headed out of the building. Today was Thursday and his club didn't meet on Thursdays. Once he left the school's campus, he enter a park which was right across from the school. It was a short cut to the apartment complex that he lived in.  As he walking down the park's path he an odd feeling that he was being watched. He kept looking back and yet he saw nothing. He decided to walk at a faster pace. When he got to the other end of the park, Zoisite made a left and his apartment complex was at the end of the street. His apartment was on the first floor in the first complex. He stopped in front of the door and pulled his key out his school bag. Before opening the door he turned to see if anyone was around him. He still felt like someone was watching him. The only thing he saw a black cat sitting a tree. He let out a sigh and told himself that the stress from school was getting to him. He put the key in the locket and turned it. The door unlocked and he went inside closing the door behind him.

Luna wasn't totally sure why she was hanging around the school but she was. Maybe it was something about the strangeness in the air that kept her on the look out or why she was around the school but there was something. This time this something would not keep the girls from their normal lives. They had done so much and they deserved the right to live as normal girls.

One of the students a boy with long blond hair crossed the street to the park where Luna was. She didn't know why she followed the boy, and she was to far away to really see who it was. She climbed a tree to get a better look at the student and to her surprise it was Zoisite. "I guess they got a second chance at a normal life too." She said to herself with a smile. Maybe that's why she'd been drawn to the school.

The apartment was a decent size. Thanks to Kunzite's job they were able to afford a three bed room apartment. When you walk in, you enter the family room/dinning room then off to the right was the kitchen. Off to the left was a hallway that led to the bedrooms. There was a hall bath and a closet for storage. Across from the hall bath was Zoisite's  and Jadiete's bedroom. Next to it was Nephrite's bedroom and at the end of the hall was Kunzite's bedroom which had its own bathroom.

Zoisite saw that no one was home yet. So he went to the couch that was living room and sat down. He threw his school bag on the coffee table and reached for the TV's remote. He liked it when he had the place to himself. He was able to watch his shows in peace. It was hard to get privacy when you lived with three older brothers. Especially since you had to share a room with one of them. He spent the afternoon flipping channel to channel. He finally came across an old movie to watch. Zoisite liked watching the classics.

Luna sat outside the apartment for a while before deciding that nothing was going to happen and she was starting to feel a little like a stalker, so she left her tree perch and headed into the city. She made her way to do her rounds and check on the girls. Ami would be walking though the park by her building soon, Luna would start there.

The small black moon cat sat on a bench and waiting for Ami to pass by. She didn't meow at the blue haired genius, she just watched with red eyes as the girl passed her nose in a book as always. She seemed to be doing well those where different books from last week. Luna smiled and sat there waiting for Ami to enter her building. From there, Luna made her way to check on Mako. The brunette was doing well, and the smell of wonderful baked good drifted from the apartment window. Luna sat nearly by and listened to the girl hum as she worked.

Luna rather missed Mako's baking and cooking, but for the girls to have a normal life, she would give up tuna for ever. She circled around to Rei's and the temple. She watched from the top of the steps as Rei swept the walks and talked with her birds, Luna knew that she was doing well, she could see it in her eyes, even so there seemed to be something missing and Luna knew what that was, but she would keep that past missing forever if she could.

Lastly she met up with Artemis and spoke about Mina and Usagi. Luna still lived with Usagi and Artemis with Minako. It was the easiest way to keep an eye on their girls. Yes all of the once inner senshi were their girls, but for them Minako and Usagi were special, closer you might say to their hearts. Bidding Artemis good bye for the night, she made her way back home.

She climbed the tree and jumped into Usagi's open window landing softly on the bed. "There you are Luna!" Usa started. "I was wondering." The young blond said, but Luna only stared blankly at her, and mewed as the young teen talked.

As she drifted off to sleep Luna thought she needed to tell Artemis about Zoisite and his brothers. They would keep an eye on them too.

The next day was Saturday so no one in the general house hold had to get up early for school or work. Zoisite woke up due to hearing a lawn mower passing by his window. He grumbled and tried to blocked the noise of the mower with his pillow. He hated how the apartment complex's groundskeepers cared for the lawn so early in the morning. Couldn't they wait until noon? The pillow couldn't block out the noise so Zoisite gave in and got out of bed.

He noticed that Jadeite was still asleep. The boy could sleep through anything. Zoisite pulled out a pair of jeans out his dresser and a polo shirt from his closet. He got dressed and then fixed his hair. Nephrite always teased Zoisite for always dressing proper. Zoisite believed that first impressions were everything. After he got his hair in order (bed hair was always problem with him!), Zoisite left the room and headed toward the kitchen. He noticed that no one else was up which made him happy. He could watch the morning news in peace. Zoisite got himself a bowl of cereal and sat himself down on the couch in the living room. He turned on the TV and flipped to one of the local news channels.




"And we're live at Juuban park," spoke the news reporter. 


On screen was a man standing in front of a playground holding his mic. The playground was in ruins. It looked like something tried to eat it.

"Right behind me is the children's playground. Last night a homeless man witness a strange looking creature attacking the playground. Unfortunately he couldn't get a good glimpse on the beast...."


The news reporter when on and on about the event. Zoisite was slightly interested about it, but he knew it didn't concern him. He finished his breakfast and decided to go take a walk.

Luna looked around the playground for any clues to confirm if this attack was indeed from a new enemy or not. She hoped that it was jut some fluke something that was a one time thing, she didn't want to wake the girls again and she would do everything she could to let them live normal lives. 

Hardly satisfied that the playground attack wasn't a new enemy, Luna gave up after finding so little evidence. With a sigh she made her way back to the park she saw Zoisite in the day before. She wasn't sure why but she felt that she should keep and eye on those boys too, after all a second chance was hard to come by and they deserved it more than most. Maybe that's why she wanted to make sure they were doing well. " Maybe there will be some good news today after all." She said taking a place in the sun on a near by low wall and watching the apartment door.

Nephrite walked home from school, passing by a playground on his way home. He had been feeling restless as of late, feeling like he should be doing something, but couldn’t quite put his finger on it. When he thought about it too much, his head would begin to pound. When he tried to talk to Jadeite about it, the other simply laughed at him and told him he was being silly. Still, he couldn’t help wondering.

He paused as he noticed he was walking by a playground that he had never passed before on his way home. He had been so lost in thought that his feet had walked him here. Still, he couldn’t help but feel that he had been drawn here for some reason.

Zoisite passed the park and noticed the hoards of people standing in front of the entrance. He stopped and saw a police officer informing the crowd that the park was closed for today due to the attack. It then dawn on him that park he cuts through to get to school was the park that was on news this morning. He kept on walking telling himself if it was none of his concern. It was probably some wild animal. Then again why would a wild animal attack a playground? 

He stopped walking and decided to check things out. Something inside of him was telling him to check it out. He looked to the right side of him and saw a wall. On the other side of the wall was the park. Zoisite walked up to wall and felt it. The wall was made out of stones and was rough enough to allow someone to climb it. Before scaling the wall he made sure no one was around. When the coast was clear, he climbed the wall. Once he got to the top, he looked down and saw some bushes. Zoisite then jumped down allowing the bushes to break his fall. After landing in the bushes, he stood up and brushed the leaves off him and pulled some branches out of his hair. He was a bit flustered. Zoiste was then muttering to himself, that he should have went home and change clothes first. He was not wearing the right outfit for investigating.

He continued on and walking at a slow pace. Zoisite was keeping an eye out for the police or any other officials. He was pretty sure he would get into trouble he got caught. His eldest brother Kunzite would not be please. Zoiste heard voices up ahead and dived into some nearby bushes. He pulled some leaves aside to allow himself to see what was up ahead. He could see the playground and police officers. They were busy analyzing it and talking among themselves.

'I should have planned this out better. Like coming here at night...' Zoisite thought to himself. Usually he was good planning things out of the whim, but every dog has his day. He then let out a sigh and just sat there wondering what should be his next move.

Shaking his head, Nephrite left the park. I must be going crazy, maybe I've been studying too much lately, he mused, shaking his head ruefully. Deciding it was late enough, he decided to head home and go to bed. He was hungry, but the exhaustion he was feeling tonight was outweighing that. Lost in thought, the young man didn't notice when his feet brought him home until he was just outside his door. He stopped when he noticed a black cat was sitting across from his door, staring at it.

"What are you doing here so late at night little one?" he said affectionately, walking over silently and scratching the cat under the chin. "Did you get separated from your family?"

As Zoisite sat in a bush he drifted off to sleep. When he woke up, he noticed it was pitch black. He poked his head out of the leaves, and saw it was night time and the police were gone. Zoisite freak out and stood up. He couldn't believe he slept through out the whole day! He rushed out of the park and hurried home. He wondered how late it was seeing how he forgot to wear a watch today. Zoisite hope he wouldn't get into trouble for staying out so late. The pains of being the youngest. 

He entered his apartment complex and saw Nephrite standing near their apartment's front door. He was petting a black cat. When he got closer to his brother, he recognized the black cat from the other day. 

"That cat was hanging around here yesterday," Zoisite spoke to his brother.

"Was she?" he murmured, continuing to pet the cat, not bothering to spare his brother a glance. There was something about this cat that seemed familiar, but he couldn't seem to place where he'd seen it before. Not anytime recently, that's for sure. Petting the cat one last time, he turned to unlock their apartment door.

"You coming?" he asked, stepping into the apartment.

Luna meowed at Nephrite, not wanting to blow her cover and talking. She blinked up at the young man. She started to purr as she let Nephrite pet her. She blinked at Zoisite as he came up to them and only mewed at his presence. She acted the typical cat as she walked up and down the small wall, demanding attention from the boys. 

She sat and watched as they entered their home. "I should tell Artemis about this." She jumped down from the wall and made her way to the park that had been attacked. She wasn't sure what she would find but she did feel something strange. "It couldn't be." She said and took off as fast as she could towards the hideout at the arcade.

Zoisite was busy looking at the cat ignoring his brother's question. Now that he better look of the cat he felt like it seem familiar. He shrugged it off, when the cat ran off. Zoisite looked back at his brother and saw that he went inside leaving the door open to their apartment. He walked on in and closed the door behind him. 

He went straight to the kitchen and opened up the fridge. Zoisite was starving seeing how he slept through out the whole day.  He made himself a sandwich and sat down with Jadeite who was on the couch watching TV. He glanced around and saw that there were the only two in the room. He figured Kunzite went to his room or was taking a shower.

"Where's Kunzite?" He asked his brother after swallowing his food.

"Work," replied Jadeite. "They're making him stay over time again."

Zoisite just nodded and took another bite out of his sandwich. He hated how he couldn't get a job to help support their family. He was too young and his school wouldn't give him permission. Kunzite was the sole provider of the family. He had a decent job, but the hours could be rough. Plus he had to deal with his studies. Zoisite finished his sandwich and went back to his room. It was time to do some homework. Bleh.

The next day, Nephrite was grumbling as he was being dragged into helping his brother with grocery shopping for the household, as Jadeite had refused to get out of bed and Kunzite was already working. Nephrite had felt guilty about not working while he was in University and had tried to get a job, but when Kunzite had found out, he had nearly thrown a fit, he was so upset. The brown haired man frowned. He knew that he should concentrate on his studies, but it didn't stop him from feeling guilty.

Perhaps I should try and get a job on campus, maybe that way he wouldn't notice that I had a job, he mused to himself. He looked over at his brother and was about to make a remark about how much he seemed like an eager puppy when a strange feeling of dread, evil and something else he couldn't quite place caused him to stop dead in his tracks.

Zoisite had to drag Nephrite out the door to get him to go grocery shopping with him. It was his turn to do the shopping, but he wanted someone to help him carry the food home. The fridge needed a major restock because of Nephrite. They were walking down the street in silence. Nephrite looked like he was lost in thought while Zoisite was watching the people that they passed. 


"We have tight budget for this trip so let's try to buy things that are on sale," Zoisite spoke to his brother when they got closer to the store. He got no reply and turned to look at him. "Nephrite?" Zoisite then noticed his brother was not beside him anymore. He stopped and looked behind him. Nephrite was right behind him standing still. He looked troubled by something. "Is there something wrong?"

"You don't feel anything?" Nephrite asked, frowning. He turned around slowly, eyes searching the surrounding area. He could swear he felt the same feeling he did at the park last night. The young man felt like he was being watched, almost stalked, like a predator stalks prey. He suppressed a shiver.

"Let's go," he said abruptly, wanting to get out of the open and into a building. He stalked past his brother, grabbing his wrist and all but dragged him into the grocery store. By the time he stopped, he was nearly shivering.

Luna had followed the two boys on their errand at a distance that she wouldn't be seen but she could keep an eye on them. She still didn't know why she was doing this. After all they seemed to be doing fine. They probably didn't want a small black crazy cat lady butting into their lives. 

Keep herself back, she heard Nephrite ask Zoisite felt anything. It was only then that she felt the strangeness in the air and cursed herself for not noticing. Leaving her tail of the boys Luna shot out and pass them towards where she felt the strange energy was coming from. 'This isn't good.' She thought skidding to a halt. 

How would she protect the boys and the girls with out their help? She watched in horror as a new enemy was forming in front of her eyes, and the worst part was Luna had no power to stop it.

Kunzite sighed to himself as he finished filing another round of paperwork.  His full-time job as an attorney's assistant was exhausting, and he highly anticipated heading home for the day.  He had been working non-stop all week, whether it was attending classes, cooking for his brothers, or doing countless tasks at work.  They were a little tight on money, and Kunzite took full blame.  He had caught a virus the previous week, thus causing him to miss class and work.  The lack of income was completely his fault, and he was making up for it.

Standing to put the finished file where it belonged, Kunzite realized that no one else was in the room.  Typically, there were at least three other people filing their own paperwork.  Curious as to where his coworkers had disappeared to, Kunzite headed into the main room of the law firm.  He paused when he noticed a bunch of people standing by the large glass window, staring outside and murmurimg amongst themselves.

"Somebody save that poor cat!" Jennifer, a marriage attorney, said.  Kunzite joined his accomplices at the window, looking out to see what all the fuss was about.  His eyes widened at what he saw:  a poor black cat staring up at what seemed to be a monster.  

Kunzite suddenly felt a mysterious lurch in his stomach.  He felt like he had the responsibility to protect this cat, and all of these people.  Out of nowhere, the monster turned towards them and hurled something in their direction.  The glass window shattered, and everyone but Kunzite scrambled for cover.  "Everyone, get to the back room!" Kunzite yelled, pushing Jennifer and the other coworkers out.  When they were gone, Kunzite sprinted out of the door and onto the street.

Acting completely on instinct, Kunzite leaped and scooped the cat into his arms, rolling as he landed on the other side of the street.  "Go somewhere safe, okay?" Kunzite said, placing the black feline down.  Standing, Kunzite clenched his fists and turned on the monster.  "HEY!" he shouted, gaining its attention from the nearby grocery store.  "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!"

Shocked at his sudden burst of courage and confidence, Kunzite stood there awkwardly.  He had a feeling that he was way in over his head.  There was not a single person in sight, probably because they had all ran away in fear.  It was just Kunzite and the innocent cat.

Luna still in shock from the appearance of the monster could only look up at Kunzite. Something had to be done there was no way he could defeat that thing with out some help. Luna's thoughts were a storm inside her mind. They deserved a normal life too, after all they had been through there if there was any chance she could defeat this enemy without waking their memories she would take it, even if it meant her own life, but she didn't see one. 

"Kunzite!" She called out to the sliver haired young man. The small black cat darted out in front of his feet. "You can't beat that thing on your own!" She nearly yelled at the boy. "RUN!" She said taking one last stab at protecting the brother's normal lives. "Just run!" She yelled over her shoulder again, hoping that he headed her words.

Kunzite's head snapped back towards the sound of the voice.  His eyes widened to find the black cat that he had rescued speaking to him.  Blinking in surprise, Kunzite was just barely able to dodge an incoming projectile.  "What the hell is going on?!" he said aloud, dodging another projectile.  He had to run, but where?  He couldn't lead this monster further into the city, and if he ran towards the monster it was basically a death sentence.  Torn and a little scared for his life, Kunzite sprinted and leaped behind a car, using it for protection for the time being.  There was no where to run.  But how could he defeat the monster without a weapon?

Luna followed Kunzite as he ducked behind the car. "I am sorry to do this to you." She said as the crescent on her forehead glowed and shot a beam at the young man's forehead, awaking his memories of the past. Luna felt a deep hate for herself then. She had swore she wouldn't do this, and here she was waking memories that were more than likely best left asleep. The small black cat felt like crying just then but now was no time for tears, she wasn't Usagi after all.

After a moment the beam faded back and the glow around her crescent died off. "I am so sorry Kunzite." She said a hint of deep sorrow in her small voice. "But now you have to defeat that thing, and fast before anyone else gets hurt." She said watching the struggle on his face as he came to grips with what she had just woke in his mind. "We'll talk later, I promise. Now fight!"

Kunzite froze when the warm, golden beam of light touched his forehead.  His eyes glazed over as millions of memories leaped into his head.  His time on Moon, serving with the shittenou under their prince.  His time with the goddess Minako.  His time working for the Dark Kingdom.  His fall under the hands of Sailor Moon and her crystal.  His declaration of faith towards the Earth and its prince.  

All of it came back in one overwhelming flourish.  The countless images faded, and Kunzite snapped back to reality.  He stared down at the talking cat, her last words echoing in his mind.

"Fight? But how?" Kunzite thought.  Before he could ask, he suddenly realized that there was a necklace dangling from his neck.  It hung on a black thread, which was tied to a pyramidal pale green stone.  A strange sense of deja vu came over him as he removed the necklace and held it in his hand.  He knew what he had to do.

He had made the promise a thousand years ago.  And he would do whatever it took to fulfill it.  He broke it once, and he would not do it again.

With a yell of might, Kunzite hurled the stone at the ground, shattering it completely.  Wisps of silver mist rose from the shards of the stone, surrounding Kunzite's body completely.  When the mist faded, he stood in the grand uniform of the Earth Shittenou.  His cape fluttered behind him, giving him the regal stature he had so many years ago.  He felt strength and power course through his veins as he stepped out from his hiding spot, facing the monster.  

"You have threatened the safety of the people in this city, and I shall not forgive you!  I am Kunzite, the shittenou of energy and protection.  In the name of my prince and the planet Earth, you shall be punished!"  Kunzite's loud, deep voice echoed around the empty street.  The monster cackled, causing a nearby glass window to shatter.  

Feeling the instinct rise, Kunzite summoned the sacred sword that he knew had been waiting for him all these years.  The silver blade materialized in his hands, shining just as brightly and dangerously as it had when he fought for Prince Endymion.  It felt comfortable in his hand, and Kunzite knew what he had to do.  

His focus on the sword distracted him for the briefest second, but that was enough for the monster.  It lunged, hitting Kunzite in the shoulder with its razor-sharp fingers.  He yelled in pain, refusing the urge to clutch the bleeding wound.  Clenching his teeth, the white-haired general stepped forward and jabbed with his sword, hitting the monster in the abdomen.  It screeched and retaliated, jumping backwards.  

Kunzite decided to wing it, and began to swing his sword at the monster again and again.  It seemed to be doing damage, but at the rate he was going, it would take hours to kill this thing.

"Hey, kitty cat, any idea how I can kill this thing?!" he shouted, flipping backwards to avoid a swing from the monster.

Luna watched with a sad joy as Kunzite transformed onto the Shittenou he had been so many years ago. This time for the good of all things he was their only hope right now. She jumped top of the car they had been hiding behind and nearly cheered when he formed his sword. Now things were looking in their favor, till the white-haired knight got hit but the monster.

"HEY!" She yelled at the monster. "He just got on his feet!" She was tempted to launch herself at the monster, but she would only get in the way.

"Stab it in the heart area?" Luna guessed. This monster was nothing like she had ever seen before. "There has to be a weak spot if that doesn't work." She said examining the monster head to toe trying to find the creature's weak point. "The best I can give now is to DODGE!" She yelled the last word as the monster came in for another attack. With the nimbleness offered to her only as a cat, Luna jumped away just before the car she was on was destroyed by the monster.

Kunzite's anger boiled as the monster attacked the cat yet again.  Furious and wanting this all to be over, Kunzite swung his sword, gasping slightly when a wave of energy erupted from the blade.  The wave hit the monster full-force, sending it flying backwards into a light post.  The post snapped in half, shattering from the weight of the metal-composed monster.  With a groan, the monster picked itself up and turned on Kunzite.  

Shocked, Kunzite stared at his sword, which seemed to be releasing waves of energy.  Kunzite thought of the statement that he literally pulled out of no where:  "The shittenou of energy and protection."

Thinking of his desire to protect his brothers and his city, Kunzite channeled that desire into his sword, feeling it pulse with even more energy.  Closing his eyes, he sensed the great amounts of energy surrounding him.  It was coming from buildings, from the sky, from the earth, from the monster.  It was everywhere.  Opening his eyes, Kunzite realized that all of that energy was at his disposal.

"Enough of you!" Kunzite shouted, charging towards the monster.  It had just recovered from his previous attack, and was not expecting the sharp blade to pierce through its chest.  The sword pulsated with energy, sending strong waves through the monster's body.  The waves shattered every structure within the creature, eventually disintegrating the outside as well.  It was like an earthquake had occurred inside of the monster itself.  With a screech of pain, the monster disappeared in a puff of black smoke.  Kunzite watched as the smoke floated up through the air, disappearing in the atmosphere.

With a flourish, Kunzite replaced his sword into its invisible sheath, smirking.  He felt like he had accomplished something - something worthwhile.  And that feeling was the best one he had had in a long, long time.  

Coming back down to Earth, Kunzite realized how bad his shoulder was hurting, and he moaned slightly.  Placing one hand on the bleeding wound, he walked over to where the cat was standing.  

"Thanks," he said, wincing.  He knew that in a matter of time, people would start to come out from their hiding places within the building and wonder what happened.  He had to get out of there, and fast.  "I'm assuming you know where I live, since my brothers have been telling me of how they've seen you around.  I'll expect you at my bedroom window within the hour," he said curtly.  There were so many thoughts and emotions running through his head that he couldn't find the place in his heart to be kind to the cat that had awoken his memories.  With a flip of his cape, the now-detransformed Kunzite retreated into an alleyway and headed home.

Zoisite shrugged off Nehprite's strange behavior as he dragged him into the store. Maybe the spring air was getting to him? It was still a bit chilly outside. When they entered the store, Zoisite grabbed a cart and they started to shop.It took them awhile to get everything they needed. The two brothers couldn't agree on anything. After paying for the food, they head out and made their way home both hands holding bags. As the brothers were walking home, they noticed that area looked like a bomb went off. There was glass everywhere and a car was total. Zoisite wanted to check it out, but the police arrived on scene and were clearing people out of the area. They continued on their path.

Zoisite's mind was buzzing. First there was a playground that was attack, Nephrite acting strange and now this? There was something wrong, but Zoisite had no idea why it troubled him so much. He kept to himself the whole way home. He didn't feel like telling Nephrite about his thoughts. He didn't him to think he was crazy or something.When they got back to the apartment, they put away the food. Zoisite then went back to his room and sat down his bed. He grabbed a book from his night stand and began to read. He had to keep his mind off of these strange events.

Nephrite groaned and he finished putting away the last of the groceries. Well, that had been an excruciating trip. First, he had gotten a weird feeling when they were near the grocery store, which he couldn't shake off for the entire trip. Something had just felt wrong. On top of that, Zoisite insisted on fighting with him on every single one of the groceries they needed to buy.  

When the door opened, he glanced over, expecting to perhaps see Jadeite, because as far as he knew, Kunzite should be at work. He was momentarily surprised when he saw his older brother walk into the house, closing the door behind him. He noticed that Kunzite was holding shoulder, like it was injured.

"What happened?" he demanded, walking over to his brother, intent on examining the others shoulder.

Kunzite had stumbled all the way home, using any wall he could for support as the white-hot pain and amount of blood loss made him disoriented.  He was a little surprised to see that Nephrite and Zoisite were both home.  Cursing silently, Kunzite turned away from his chocolate-haired brother and headed down the hall towards his bedroom.  "I tripped at work.  I'm fine," he grumbled, trying to keep his voice level.  Without another word, he entered his bedroom and locked the door behind him, heading to his bathroom so that he could examine the would.  Wincing, the white-haired man stripped off his jacket and t-shirt, clenching his teeth when the cotton stuck to the wound. The cut wasn't too deep, just a long gash stretch from the top of his right shoulder to his right pec.  He began to clean off the blood, clenching his jaw so that he wouldn't cry out and gain the attention of his brothers.  He felt bad for lying to them, but he couldn't tell them about what had happened...they were still free.  They didn't have to carry this burden, and he wanted to keep it that way.

The memories of his past caused a pain within Kunzite that would never go away.  A thousand years later, he was still grieving.

He frowned as he watched his brother stalk off to his room. Sighing at his brothers stubbornness, he turned back towards the kitchen, intent on making himself some food. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed something on the floor. Walking over to the spot on the floor, he squatted to get a better look. It was blood. Blood that had no been there when he and Zoicite had come home which meant that it had to be from Kunzite.

Fine my behind, he growled to himself. He was sorely tempted to march to his brothers room, break down the door and demand answers. He knew that it would only cause his elder brother to clam up. Sometimes it's easier to move a mountain than it was to try and get his brother to admit to something when he didn't want to. The best course of action then would be to keep an eye on his brother; for now at least.

Luna followed Kunzite home. She was worried about the young man. He had fought well and he had to deal with the on rush of new memories. She watched as he entered his home and closed the door. Without waiting long she found his window wit ease, he had left it open, for her she assumed.

Jumping with ease and grace she landing soundlessly on the sill and watched as he cleaned his wound. It looked to the small cat that he would need help with bandage. She smiled to herself then and shifted her from in a flash to light from cat to human. Silently she got to her feet since she couldn't really sit on the windowsill in her human form. Padding on silent feet she walked up behind him. "Looks like you could use some help with that." Luna smiled at the white haired young man.
