So! Taking this from the discussion on the brainstorming thread between Eternal Knight and I We shall explore the reverse Dark Kingdom arc with the senshi and Serenity being evil while the Shitennou and Endymion are good.

When Queen Serenity sent everyone to the future to be reincarnated after the decimation of the Silver Millennium, darkness plagued her heart, which was then transferred into the Silver Crystal's power. This darkness tainted each of the senshi and Serenity's star seed/avatar soul and affected who they became when they were reincarnated on 20th century earth.

They are awakened with bitterness and disappointment due to their memories of what happened in the past as well as the taint on their soul. Their only mission in this era is to punish the earth and everyone in it. (So I think they probably regained their memories when they were awakened as senshi. Also potentially toying with giving Usagi a less than great family life to make things equally unhappy for her in the 20th century. All the other senshi already have kind of broken home backgrounds anyway)

During the reboot, the Silver Crystal also quite unintentionally purified the Shitennou, and with Metalia and Beryl being sealed away, their darkness no longer corrupt them. They awakened on earth where they belong; by their prince's side.

But now it's the senshi and their princess who are hell-bent on destroying earth.

Can the shitennou return them to what they once were and save their souls, not to mention the world?

I'm thinking of making this Advanced, if that's okay with everyone.

Also need input on whether the Sen/Shi pairings should be a thing (it would make purifying them again a bit easier maybe?)

And finally be warned that we may potentially go the epic tragedy route and have Serenity's corruption be too deep to save, and they may end up killing her with Endymion sacrificing himself in the process.

I guess with the senshi & princess being evil, we don't need Beryl and Metalia to make a comeback? But I'm open to having them as well.

If I forgot anything, Eternal Knight can add it I'm sure xD

two questions first:

1. In her profile do i just make a regular Ami one with the storyline stuff added in or do i need to make up a bitter Ami type one?

2.Do they still have the same powers even thought they are now evil?

I think this sounds like a TON of fun! ♥ I'm waffling on making Usagi's home life less great. I'm thinking that maybe, since she's corrupted, she just doesn't see enough to appreciate it for what it is. She could think of her relationship with Shingo as exclusively an annoyance, her mother's angry moods as picking on her and disapproving of her as a duaghter, and her father's busy work schedule as avoiding being a part of her life.

Ooh, that would be a fun way of doing it too! I'm leaving that part up to you since you're the one who will be playing her

I haven't played with Jadeite for a while, but I haven't had a chance to play Endymion yet and use that profile, so I think I'd like to play Enydmion

Though it's probably obvious, the Shitennou have their memories from their past life and totally know that the Senshi were never that evil, but they don't know why they went bunker (the why being Queen Serenity/silver crystal mix).
Whether Endymion suspects it or not can be player's choice, Mercury? Considering someone has to understand what's going on and Endymion came closer to the queen than most when the Shitennou attacked the moon.

And welcome on board Addelyn.

Hmm, I'll be fine with Endy figuring it out somewhere down the line. I figure during their battles the senshi and Serenity will eventually talk about their motives and why they feel they need to do what it is they do, so the boys will be able to put some of it together. Even if he does understand, though, doesn't necessarily give him the solution for it? Since the Silver Crystal, the one with purification power is in Serenity's possession.

Unless we want to put the Golden Crystal in play to help

He can figure it out without being able to do anything about it, but at least he would be able to say to his Shitennou that their friends are evil because of another source of corruption. It could motivate them to try and save the senshi.

We could put the Golden Crystal at play if it adds an interesting twist.

All the difficulties. All the angst. All the problems~

I am looking forward to angsty Usagi. XD Very untypical for her.

How do we want to start? I discussed it with Aurae and I've decided Venus could be awakened first just like in canon and serve as an advance reconnaissance in order to find the Dark Kingdom base so they're ready to go when the rest are awakened.

But do you all have preferences on how each senshi should be awakened?

For Endymion and the others: should they all be living together in the prince's apartment? Or other, but they're technically with Endymion so I guess they sleep somewhere xD They all have their memory, so maybe having them in close quarter could be a better idea? 

Should we start with only the senshi awakening and bring in the Shitennou afterwards or do we go simultaneously? Normal life stuff for the Shitennou and Endymion while you guys roleplay the Senshi awakening?

(I'm not a senshi, but since we don't have nor Artemis nor Luna, maybe Venus can be the one who wakes the others? Or someone NPC the cats along the way?)

I think it would be interesting to see a 'normal life' going on with Mamoru and the shitennou while the senshi are awakening, but it's up to you guys who play the boys!

And yes, Venus can wake the others once I figure out how the other players would like that to happen
