| Subject: Selling all my stuff! 12th April 2015, 12:54 pm | |
| I'm torn about it, but I've decided to sell most of my Sailor Moon stuff. I'm moving to Japan, and it would be expensive to ship it there, and most of it I would be able to purchase again if I ever so feel like it. (Besides, the extra cash will be super helpful for my moving costs...) So, I am selling: English Manga volumes 1-12 + Short Stories 1 + Sailor V 1&2. This is the new release set, bought for display mainly. Have been sitting on a shelf and are in great condition (only Volumes 1 & 2 were ever even opened up). I didn't purchase the short stories 2 yet, but that is the only thing missing from making this a complete set. $80 +shipping for the whole set.Japanese Manga volumes 1-12 + Short Stories 1&2. This set I bought to help study, so volume one has some very light pencil markings I will need to erase, but I took very good care of them. Volume 11 is very lightly worn - it was given to me by a friend. All the others are never opened and are in great condition. All are the re-print from a few years ago (not the newest one). $75 +shipping for the whole set.Bootlegged DVDs, All seasons. (SOLD)I was given these as a gift when I was in High School. They ARE bootlegged versions, not official. I used them as my "I don't care if they get ruined/worn out" set, but they are still in decent condition. A couple of the CDs don't stay in the packaging well, but that's because its kinda cheap packaging. All come in Japanese audio with subtitles; all except stars comes with English audio when available. Great for someone who just wants a set to burn through watching over and over. $30 +shipping for the whole set.SH Figuarts Mercury. Opened but in great condition. Only positioned once or twice and left on a shelf untouched otherwise. Still have the box (in good condition) and all the different parts. $20 +shipping.Tsukino Usagi Character Guide Book (Anime) in Japanese. Used but good condition; found in a second-hand shop in Japan. Cover has a tiny bit of wear, but the inside is in great condition - no tears, marks, and spine is unbroken. $5 +shippingSailor Moon Kids story book by Scholastic. I don't even know where I got this? Tells the story of 'Allan and Anne' and that first arc of R, but for younger children. $2 +shipping.Blue Snow Doujinshi (Japanese, published 1995). MINT condition, with protective cover. Story centers around Haruka x Minako and the other Senshi. $25 +shipping.(May add more items later if I find anything in storage) I will accept offers other that what I have listed as long as they are reasonable. For example, if you want 2+ things, I don't mind giving a discount for buying multiples. For shipping: I can get an estimate based on where you live, but once I send I can tell you the actual cost.Payment via paypal, please. Feel free to ask any questions, PM me if you are serious about buying - tell me your address and I can get an estimate for you. I'm in Canada on the west coast.

| I'm curious. What exactly is the Tsukino Usagi Character Guide Book (Anime)? Does it only focus on Usagi or does it include all of the characters? Also, does it only cover a specific season? |

It focuses just on Usagi, first 3 seasons. Talks about her becoming sailor moon, her past and future (Princess Serenity and Neo Queen Serenity), her transformations and attacks, her various fashion/outfits, her relationship with Mamoru, her family, talks about her "top 5 episodes" (character development wise), her astrological sign and info, 50 little known facts/"secrets" (not really all so secret), and talks about her relationship with the others including a LOT of minor characters, talks about some of her important battles from the first 3 seasons (including movies) and including a "timeline" of the battles (ie, they fought the DD girls on Feb 20th 1993, apparently?). The end has some song lyrics and poems about Usagi/centered around her, and some pictures of Naoko and a message from her. It's really an AMAZING book but the downside is that it's all in Japanese. If you don't read Japanese then it kind just looks like a book with a bunch of anime screencaps throughout it. |

Is it kanji-heavy or does it have the little hiragana/katakana above the kanji? (I forget the proper terminology for that set-up.) |

| Furigana! That's what it is called! xD Okay, so that means I can read it, but it doesn't mean that I would understand it. xD;;; Hmm... I'll have to think about this a bit more. I have a bunch of manga and books in Japanese, but I haven't really read anything in Japanese in 6+ years (not counting import video games). Even then, I couldn't understand much from the books because the words and verbs were too "uncommon" for the everyday vocabulary that Japanese language classes tend to favor. |

| Yeah it uses a fair bit of vocabulary I'm not 100% familiar with myself. Have yet to really get to sit down and read through it haha. It seems to be aimed at a decently younger age though (like 10-15) so I don't think the vocabulary is TOO hard, just not what those of us who study in a second language classroom setting would be used to haha. |
