| Character Profile Information
- At this time, there is no limit on the number of characters a role-player are allowed.
- Please note: relaxed character profiles will always be easier to approve than advanced and not everything has to be advanced.
- Accepted Otaku/original characters may be used in all areas of the Galaxy Cauldron RPG, so long as the storyline creator is comfortable with their addition to the storyline.
- Multiverse characters that are accepted may be used in the Gates to the Multiverse section of the GC RPG, found in the Free Form Section.
Character Submission Guidelines All characters need to fill out a Character Profile form before joining in on the RPs (except for certain, but not all RP events). There are three types of characters: Canon (from the official Sailor Moon universe), Otaku/Crossover, and Multiverse (from other franchises/ universes) and two types of profile forms: Relaxed and Advanced. Submit your Canon Characters here. Sailor Neptune or her RP Mod will review and assist or approve your profile! Submit your Otaku/ Crossover Characters here. Sailor Pluto Uranus or her RP Mod will review and assist or approve your profile! Submit your Multiverse Characters here. Sailor Pluto Uranus or Sailor Neptune will review and assist or approve your profile! - Titling Your Application for Canon or Otaku/ Crossover Characters:
When you make your application thread, please put in the thread title of your thread two of the applicable headers: [Relaxed] or [ Advanced], and then one of the following to loosely describe them: CIVILIAN: SENSHI: KNIGHT: GUARDIAN: ANTAGONIST: CROSSOVER: Example: For my Otaku Senshi/Original Character Sailor Tellus, I would title her thread: [Advanced] Senshi: Sailor Tellus Or, for my fun canon character, Minako, I would title my thread: [Relaxed] Senshi: Sailor Venus/Minako Aino - Titling Your Application for Multiverse Characters:
When you make your application thread, please put in the thread title of your thread two of the applicable headers, and then your character's name
- [Multiverse]
- [Relaxed] or [Advanced]
- Character Name
In the Description section, state the World/Universe the roleplay happens in.
For example, if I wanted to play Lessa from Dragon Riders of Pern, a fantasy series, and I made an advanced profile for her, her thread would be entitled: [Multiverse][Advanced]Lessa Description: Dragon Riders of Pern If I wanted to play Obi Wan from Star Wars and made a relaxed profile for him, it would be entitled: [Multiverse][Relaxed]Obi Wan Kanobe Description: Star Wars Let's say I wanted to make my own character for the Star Wars universe? She's a Sith Lord, and I'm naming her Kyralih Awesomepants. Her thread title and descriptor would be: [Multiverse][Advanced]Kyralih Awesomepants Description: Star Wars Original Character What about purely Original characters? Let's say you've made up your own world and your own story with a fantasy setting and you and some other players are going to play in that world. How would you entitle your character profile thread? Like this: [Multiverse][Relaxed]Kyralih Starcatcher Description: Original Fantasy Tada! Easy as that!

Advanced profiles are held to higher standards than relaxed profiles, and players submitting and using advanced profiles are expected to use proper grammar and spelling and provide more in-depth descriptions and greater mastery of language than when using relaxed profiles; players submitting for advanced profiles should be comfortable creating messages and descriptions in paragraph form and replying to roleplay posts in paragraph form. Generally, Advanced categories in our RP section denote a more intensive style of roleplaying. Profile skeletons for MULTIVERSE characters: - Relaxed Multiverse Character Profile Skeleton:

Frequently Asked Questions Why are profiles required? A few reasons, really.
- Organizational purposes (so we, and other players, know who plays whom)
- Knowledge (you get to know your character better!)
- Accountability (to remind people to keep in character)
Why is getting an Advanced character approved so difficult?
- Advanced storylines are storylines that come with the general understanding that the storyline will be in-depth, probably long-running, and the creator would like all players adhering as closely to canon personality types as possible. Having an advanced character profile approved by the RP staff is our guarantee to the storyline creator that we believe the player has what it takes to roleplay the character in question with the depth and complexity requested. Sometimes this means asking people to go back and give more detail, and more detail, to show us that they are ready to dig deep and make those creative, descriptive scenes Advanced Storyline creators crave, and we don't want to say that a player is ready for [advanced] if we don't quite believe it to be true.
- Please remember that Relaxed Storylines are just as involved and engaging as Advanced! The only difference between the two is the creator's want of depth and complexity in every single post from every single player; relaxed storylines, without the restrictions of advanced in place, ofteh move faster than advanced and the players can be more engaged because there are no limits in place!
Who can post in someone's application thread?
- Only the profile creator and the profile reviewer! Please make any comments about neat characters in the Guestbook found in each profile subsection if you would like to gush over a character profile you've read, or PM the player to invite them to your storyline!
- Posts made by neither the creator nor the reviewer can knock the review process off track, therefore we do not allow "chatter" in approval threads.
I posted a profile and it hasn't been reviewed yet! What do I do?
- Has it been 24 hours? If not, chill XD Our reviewers will get to your profile as soon as they can, but they've got IRL responsibilities, too! If it has been 24 hours, it's okay to respond to your thread with "Ready for review!" so it tells the reviewer you are 100% ready to start the process!
- If you start a profile as WIP (a work in progress) please tag it as such; you are free to work on WIP profiles for as long as you need! However, once you finish a posted WIP profile, please remove the "WIP" note from the thread title/description and reply to the thread with "Ready for review!" so the profile reviewer knows you're ready! (it's sometimes easy to miss the change in the description!)
- If 48 hours pass after you post 'ready for review!' and no one has commented on your profile to start the process, please send me a PM! I'll get the right person on the job asap for you!

| Updating a Previously-Approved Character Profile Hey, buddy~ You want to update your original profile to
- fix a typo / formatting issue // add an image / add a minor non-character changing detail / etc. OR
- update the character profile to reflect changes that have occurred over the course of roleplaying the character (i.e. updating their history to include new events or revelations, noting changes to personality based on events in a roleplay, etc.)
You do you, boo. Those types of changes don't need to be approved - you can post a reply with them just to show when the changes were made if you want to, but consider them already approved and able to be added to your main profile, friendo! However~ If you're updating your profile with
- a major character change / rework ((i.e., tweaking their history, their appearance, reworking their personality altogether, etc.))
- an ability addition/rework
- anything that can affect how your character interacts with other characters in a major way
Get that re-approved! It's often a quick and easy glance-over reapproval for profiles of characters that have not been in storylines, but for characters that have taken part in several storylines or are taking part in a connected series of storylines the process may take a little more time as reneging character details after characters have already interacted could teeter on being awkward for other player's characters - oftentimes we'll just need a full reason for why the changes were made / how they occurred, just so Sailor Smudge's BFF Sailor Speckle isn't suddenly blindsided with Smudge's new super-dark super-emo backstory when before they had been childhood friends To show you need reapproval, please edit your original post with your changes in another color (might I suggest red?) and change your topic title color from the "approved" color back to the "None (use implicit)". Then make a new post in your character thread saying there are new changes to be approved. This'll help reviewers see it better! Once through re-approved, please remember to go back and remove any font colors inserted, just to clean everything up! Thanks!

| Canon vs. Crossover Information When characters swap worlds, things can get sticky. Toss an "AU" tag in the mix and you've got a whirlwind of what the heck do I file this under? confusion, especially as Canon Characters are submitted and approved in an entirely different section than Crossover Characters are. So! General Categorizing: Canon Section | Crossover Section | Multiverse Section | Sailor Moon Characters playing in the Sailor Moon Universe or an original universe | Sailor Moon Characters in any media universe but the Sailor Moon Universe | Sailor Moon Characters do not belong in this section! | Non-Sailor Moon Characters do not belong in this section! | Non-Sailor Moon Characters playing in the Sailor Moon Universe | Non-Sailor Moon Characters playing in their Home Universe or any other Universe |
Additionally!Players should only have one profile per character per section. Profiles should be updated to include new storyline information in the Storyline Specific Information section (SSI) for canon profiles, and updated to include entire crossover profiles within a spoiler in a general crossover profile. - Wait, what?:
Let's say that I only play Usagi but I play Usagi a lot. Let's say I play Usagi in the following storylines:
- [Relaxed] Sailor Moon Goes Camping!
(Sailor Moon Universe)
- [Relaxed] The Trouble with Tribbles
(Star Trek Universe)
- [Relaxed]Candy Factory Mix-up!
(Sailor Moon Universe)
- [Advanced] Superior Crystal
(Sailor Moon Universe)
- [Advanced] Usagi Tsukino and the Philosopher's Stone
(Harry Potter Universe)
In order to play in all of those, I would need only two profiles:
- [Advanced] Sailor Moon
Canon Profile Section. Within the SSI section, in spoilers, I would have entries for the following storylines: -[Relaxed] Sailor Moon Goes Camping! -[Relaxed] Candy Factory Mix-Up! -[Advanced] Superior Crystal Please note! If I had not joined the Advanced storyline, this could have just been one Relaxed profile. If I play both Relaxed and Advanced, I can make one Advanced profile and use it for the relaxed storylines as well. If I have a Relaxed profile approved and would like to play in an Advanced storyline, I can edit the Relaxed storyline to make it advanced and get it re-approved.
- [General Crossover] Usagi Tsukino
Crossover Profile Section As I play her in two different universes, I would have two different spoilers, each containing the full profile - either advanced or relaxed - for each storyline as required: -Spoiler Tag: "Star Trek" Relaxed profile for Usagi Tsukino within the Star Trek Universe -Spoiler Tag: "Harry Potter" Advanced profile for Usagi Tsukino within the Harry Potter Universe Please note! Each additional crossover profile found within the general crossover mega-profile needs to be approved by the profile reviewer individually. However, if you have a previously-approved Canon profile for the character, you can link back to it for any unchanged section, such as appearance and personality, to save some space.
Sometimes an example is the best way to show what we mean: Examples of approved Canon profiles with multiple Storyline Specific Information to cover multiple storylines:
- Mamoru Chiba
- Usagi Tsukino
Examples of approved Crossover profiles with multiple universes for the same character:
- Ami Mizuno
- Michiru Kaioh
- Mamoru Chiba
