I'd imagine they do the entire NYC thing with a huge tree and ice rink in the general area in front of the palace.

I take a more historical approach, since it's implied the Silver Millennium was in the distant past, and say that they might've celebrated it like the Roman festival of Saturnalia, with lots of feasting, merry making, and exchanging of gifts.

I honestly think that the Moon and the Earth (and possibly the other planets, depending on what your headcanon is. personally I headcanon that there was indeed life and separate kingdoms on the other planets, but that's just my headcanon and other people may differ) had their own, different holidays to celebrate (and each kingdom would have different holidays at different times of the year). It wouldn't be like any equivalent to Christmas, but there could perhaps be winter festivals and whatnot. Especially if coronations, coronation anniversaries, and royal birthdays occurred around wintertime. Or holidays relating to mythology and whatnot.

Anyway, this is just what I think.

Now Crystal Tokyo on the other hand...that's going to be a gigantic holiday festival.

I just wanted to clarify and say that the Silver Millennium is what the palace is called in both the past and future (though only in the sub) x  I did change the description though just in case it was confusing!

I like the idea of some sort of Greek festival type thing in the past!

Cosmos I love the idea of ice skating. Jupiter would be all over that, lol.

Hmmm. Never gave this much thought before. I think that whatever they did for Christmas in Crystal Tokyo, Chibiusa would probably get spoiled.

I'll have to think about this more, I'll come back to this.

Agreed. The Silver Millennium was a really long time ago, and none of the planets would have any concept of what we call Christmas. However, lots of cultures have celebrations at the end of a year, so it's possible that some of them at least had some form of celebration around the same time. Not exactly Christmas though.

Crystal Tokyo though? Yeah, they probably have Christmas. I'd imagine they'd do most of the thing we end of doing, although perhaps they'd go more with whatever was typical for Christmas celebrations in Japan.

Oooo hadn't considered that they probably didn't celebrate Christmas so far into the past! Definitely more like a Pagan festival of winter then! Maybe they'd have some kind of celebration for like, fall harvest instead?

I like to think that during the Silver Millenium, they had big parties with a masquerade ball.  In Crystal Tokyo, they be a bit more modern and have a big get together.
