Appearance: Rapunzel is a beautiful young woman with wavy, chocolate brown hair that reaches the middle of her back. She has striking peridot eyes and a clear, neutral complexion with a few freckles dotting her cheeks. Standing at a small 5'4", Rapunzel is rather petite. She has a healthy figure a bright, white smile. If Rapunzel could, she would be perfectly fine walking around without shoes. Rapunzel's biggest pet peeve is being held back, and so she also prefers dresses that give her a wide range of movement and don't cling too tightly to her body below the waist. She has a fondness for pastel colors, especially purple and pink.
Personality: Rapunzel is definitely a free spirit. The outdoors are her favorite place to be, no matter where she is at. She hates being told she can't do something, which contributes to her headstrong attitude and determination. She is very kindhearted, polite, and compassionate. Despite knowing what she wants and how to get it, Rapunzel can be very timid and shy when it comes to things she is unsure about. But there will never be a time when she will not act with her whole heart. She is very charismatic, and is always welcome to meeting new people and making new friends. It is practically impossible to find a reason not to like Rapunzel, because she's so kindhearted and sociable. She is also very good with children, which explains why she wanted one of her own so badly after getting married. Rapunzel loves the arts, including painting, music, sculpting, sewing, writing, and pottery (she is talented in all of these things). Rapunzel's biggest flaw is how gullible she is. She is always so quick to trust people that it often gets her into trouble. She is a very quick thinker, and her intelligence often assists her when in sticky situations. She does not like to break rules, and when she makes a mistake she will spend hours agonizing over whether or not it was the right thing to do. No matter what the cost, Rapunzel will never,
ever break a promise.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Rapunzel is good at practically anything. She is great at cleaning, guitar, knitting, baking, ballet, chess, pottery, ventriloquy, candle-making, sketching, sewing, and most of all, painting. She is extremely intelligent, having spent years doing nothing but reading literature, studying the stars, etc. She is also a great singer and dancer. When not transformed, Rapunzel's tears can heal wounds of any kind.
History: Rapunzel's story starts with the sun. Once upon a time, a single drop of sunlight fell from the heavens. And from this small drop of sun, grew a magic golden flower. It had the ability to heal the sick and injured. Centuries passed, and a hop, skip, and a boat ride away, there grew a kingdom. This kingdom was ruled by a beloved king and queen. The queen was about to have a baby, but she got sick. She was running out of time, and that's when people usually start to look for a miracle. Or in this case, a magic golden flower. Instead of sharing the sun's gift, a woman named Mother Gothel hoarded its healing power and used it to keep herself young for centuries. And all she had to do was sing a special song:

One night, while performing the song, Mother Gothel heard a group of palace guards approaching. Leaving in a rush, she forgot to cover the flower, leaving it exposed for the men to find. As expected, they found the flower and rushed it back to the king and queen. The magic of the golden flower healed the queen. A healthy baby girl, a princess, was born, with beautiful golden hair. Her name was Rapunzel. To celebrate her birth, the king and queen launched a flying lantern into the sky. And for that one moment, everything was perfect. And then that moment ended. That night, Mother Gothel snuck into the palace, climbing in through the king and queen's balcony. Knowing that the princess's golden hair was what held the flower's magic, she attempted to cut a piece and take it for herself. However, when she tried this, the hair turned brown and lost its power. Realizing she had no choice but to take the child, Mother Gothel swept Rapunzel up and left, right as the king and queen awoke. The kingdom searched and searched, but they could not find the princess. For deep within the forest, in a hidden tower, Gothel raised the child as her own. Gothel had found her new magic flower, but this time, she was determined to keep it hidden. But the walls of that tower could not hide everything. Each year on her birthday, the king and queen released thousands of lanterns into the sky. They hoped that one day, their lost princess would return.
For eighteen years, Gothel convinced Rapunzel that the outside world was a dangerous place, and she was forbidden from ever leaving the tower. But during each of those years, Rapunzel would go to her window on her birthday and watch the floating lanterns light up the night sky, wishing with all her heart that someday, she could find out why they only appeared on her birthday. All her life, it was just Rapunzel and her best friend, Pascal (a chameleon) doing the same routine every single day while Gothel was out and about. When she turned eighteen, things suddenly changed. While Gothel was on a trip, a thief named Flynn Rider climbed up the tower in order to escape palace guards. Rapunzel knocked him out with a frying pan and hid him in her wardrobe. After a few more whacks with a frying pan, Rapunzel convinced Flynn to take her on a journey to see the "floating lights" that would appear on her birthday. Thus began the adventure of a lifetime, where Rapunzel made friends with a large group of thugs, destroyed a dam, befriended a palace horse named Maximus, discovered Flynn's real name was Eugene, disobeyed Gothel on multiple occasions, fell in love with Eugene, saw the floating lights (which were actually lanterns), and most importantly, discovered the secret Gothel had been keeping from her all these years - that she was the Lost Princess. Eugene, who had been captured by the palace guards thanks to Gothel and two of her accomplices, escaped with the help of Maximus and the group of thugs befriended by Rapunzel. He rushed back to her tower, where he quickly climbed it with the help of her hair to save her. Unfortunately, he was stabbed by Gothel, who had plans to take Rapunzel and leave. Rapunzel refused to leave unless she got to heal Eugene's mortal wound, and Gothel grudgingly accepted. When Rapunzel went to heal Eugene with her hair, he placed a hand behind her neck as if he were going to kiss her, but instead used a piece of shattered glass to cut off her hair, leaving her powerless to save him. Gothel instantly turned back into an old woman, and in her agony fell out of the tower window to her death. Eugene used his dying breath to tell Rapunzel that she had been his new dream. In her distress, Rapunzel cried over Eugene's death. Unknown to her, her tears were infused with the golden flower's power, and they healed Eugene's wound and brought him back to life. Together, the two went back to the palace and approached the king and queen, who knew instantly that Rapunzel was their daughter. The reunion was beautiful, and Eugene was welcomed into the family with open arms. Rapunzel and Eugene were married, and the group lived happily ever after.
A few years passed, and Rapunzel gave birth to a set of twins (one boy and one girl), who were both born with the magic golden hair Rapunzel had when she was born. The boy, Flynn, was very intelligent and reserved, but he had a wild imagination and a lust for adventure. The girl, Sunny, was crazy and wild, and she spent hours each day running around wreaking havoc and having fun.
When Rapunzel was 25, her kingdom was in a state of peace, as was the world around her. But suddenly, all of that changed. One fateful day, Mother Gothel returned from the dead, leading an army of hundreds that sought revenge. She destroyed Corona in the blink of an eye and broke into the palace, confronting Rapunzel, Eugene, Rapunzel's parents, and her children in the palace throne room. Despite Eugene's best efforts to fight Gothel, she had some sort of magical abilities that they were not expecting. Seeing it as the only option, Eugene sacrificed himself to save Rapunzel and the rest of their family. Unfortunately for him, that was not Gothel's plan. Instead of just taking him, Gothel took the rest of the family as well, excluding Rapunzel. And just like that, Gothel was gone, and Rapunzel was alone. Torn apart by her grief, Rapunzel struggled to find the ray of sunlight in the situation. She was completely alone, with no friends or family to help her. It was in this moment when a strange elderly woman robed in blue appeared with a magic wand in hand. This woman, who claimed to be the fabled Fairy Godmother, had a whimsical quality to her that actually made Rapunzel smile, despite her sorrow. In a lighthearted explanation, Fairy Godmother told Rapunzel that there was a secret power hidden inside her, one that was more than just the golden flower infused in her blood. This secret power was the magic of her soul, the precious seed that held all of her love and purity. By gifting her a necklace with a pendant shaped like the sun, Fairy Godmother introduced Rapunzel to her ability to become a Sailor Guardian. The only catch was that Rapunzel must never kill. As soon as someone was killed by her hand, Rapunzel would lose her senshi powers forever. Under Fairy Godmother's instructions, Rapunzel transformed into her senshi form, Sailor Lumina, and traveled to Destiny's Waterfall. This waterfall was a beautiful location that was exclusive to only the royal monarchs of the world, and it was to serve as a private meeting place for the senshi as they worked together to defeat the new, unknown enemy.
Other Noteworthy Information: Rapunzel's favorite gem is the sun stone, and her favorite flower is, obviously, a sunflower. She has a bad habit of running her fingers through her hair, because she still isn't used to its short length ever since Eugene cut it. She will eat practically anything, but she loves anything with hazelnuts most of all. She loves literature and astronomy, but there isn't really a subject she doesn't like.
Storyline Specific Information:
Helpless Girls - Taking place right after the fall of Corona, Rapunzel must travel as Sailor Lumina with a group of princesses whose kingdoms were also destroyed. Their goal: To find whoever did this to them, and defeat them, winning back their families and their kingdoms.

Senshi Fuku: When transformed, Sailor Lumina's hair turns back to its original blonde color and extends down to her ankles, just barely touching the ground. Two pearl barrettes are on either side of her head, and a silver tiara with a pink gemstone in the center is on her forehead. Pink heart-shaped earrings dangle from her ears, while a matching choker necklace adorns her neck. The collar of her fuku is pink with three white stripes along the edges, while the bow attached is orchid with a pink heart pendant in the center. The sleeves of her fuku are short, three-layered, pink, and translucent. The miniskirt of her fuku is made of two layers, the top layer being pink and the bottom layer being orchid. Her white gloves are elbow length, and they have three rings of pink fabric at the end. An orchid bow is positioned at the back of her skirt, and it extends just below her knees. Completing Lumina's ensemble is an orchid pair of flats on her feet.
Powers:
Illumination - This is a blinding attack. To perform it, Lumina must channel her connection with the sun, drawing it's energy to create a blinding flash. This flash will make it impossible for anyone except Lumina to see in the area for around thirty seconds. It is stronger during the day, when the sun is shining. This ability is also available in a weaker form, becoming a method of light for sight instead of blinding.
Lumina Synergize - When directed at a comrade, this ability will give said comrade a boost of strength, agility, and magic ability for a few minutes. To activate it, Lumina must be in direct contact with the sun so that she can absorb its energy and transport it to her comrade.
Lumina Heal - Lumina's strongest and most-important ability. To use it, Lumina charges her hands with the sun's energy, using it to heal wounds and exhaustion. It is stronger during the day and in the open, but it can be used at night or in dark places with weaker effects.
Weapons or Magical Items:
Frying Pan - This is an item that Lumina possesses both transformed and not transformed. It is what it is - an iron frying pan. She uses it to hit things that scare her or to fight enemies.
Sun Necklace - This is a silver-chained necklace that has a pendant hanging from it. The pendant has the symbol of Lumina's kingdom, a sun, on the inside. She uses it to transform.

RP Sample: Queen Rapunzel held her baby daughter in her arms, smiling at her husband as they waited for the doors to open. Behind them stood the former king and queen of Corona, watching on with warm smiles. "This is it," Rapunzel said, looking down at the cooing child she was holding. "The kingdom is going to love them."
Eugene chuckled and placed one hand on Rapunzel's waist, gently nudging her towards the doors. "Of course they will. They've got Fitzherbert blood in them," he smirked. Rapunzel rolled her eyes and watched as the guards opened the grand balcony doors, letting in the bright sunlight. Taking a deep breath, Rapunzel walked in-step with her husband out onto the grand balcony. Looking down, she saw hundreds of joyful villagers down below, all quiet as they waited for their queen to speak. Meeting her husband's eye, Rapunzel smiled.
"People of Corona! It is with great honor and pleasure that I present to you Princess Sunny Grace and Prince Flynnigan Rider!" she called, her voice ringing across the kingdom. Together, Rapunzel and Eugene accepted the floating lantern that was now being offered to them by Rapunzel's parents. With proud smiles, they released the lantern into the air, honoring their two children the same way Rapunzel's parents had honored her. The villagers bowed simultaneously before erupting into cheers. The celebration had begun, and Rapunzel couldn't wait to go down and participate. As the couple stood on the balcony watching, Rapunzel leaned over to Eugene.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. If we ever do cut their hair, you will
not be doing it," she said, alluding to the awful job he had did on her hair a few years back. Chuckling, Eugene kissed his wife.
To Rapunzel, her life could not be more perfect.
