What did everyone think of the episode? i loved it!

Pros:
NQS hair was silver, which is kinda weird since PS hair is light blonde but whatever!
That random scene where Rubeus caught Esmeraude spying on Prince Demande
A lot of funny moments this episode
Diana's voice
Instead of just Sailor Moon disappearing they have Tuxedo Mask begin to vanish as well

Cons:
In some scenes Crystal Palace looks really weird (like the middle spire is GIGANTIC compared to the others)

I am so pumped for next episode!

It was VERY exposition-heavy, which was needed to finally explain everything, but I feel like it halted the pacing of the story.

I really enjoyed everyone's reactions to Chibiusa and Diana being revealed as the future daughters of the respective pairs. And Pluto's voice actress has been wonderful. I loved how they really inserted her feelings for the King into that scene without making it obvious to the other characters present necessarily.

This was one of the moments I liked best in this episode! I was also happy to see more NQS this time. Seeing Esmeraude and Rubeus goofing around in Demande's room was very amusing too - as well as seeing everyone's reactions to the revelation of their future daughters. However, the animation...once again. I'm slowly tired of complaining about it all the time but Crystal nearly wants me to do so xD So...pretty good plot, bad animation.

The preview for the next episode was really good! I just hope Toei won't mess up with it.

I really enjoyed this episode, it had all the feels. The part where King is watching Small Lady Cry for her mama to open her eyes and you see King like holing in all his emotions of torment, it tugs at your heart strings.


I also loved venus's seiyuu in this ep she did amazing.


i love NQS with white hair, i just always envisioned her having white hair once she became queen.

I loved this episode a lot more than the last episode.  I absolutely loved the scenes where we find out Diana is Luna and Artemis' daughter and I'm glad we got to see more of Diana this week.  It feels so weird seeing Diana in Black Moon arc animated this time unlike in the original anime where Diana didn't show up until SuperS.  Though personally I thought the scene where we found out Chibi-usa is Usagi and Mamoru's daughter was funnier in the original anime.   But I loved all the scenes with Sailor Pluto and I'm so excited we finally get to see Setsuna's feelings for Endymion in the anime!   Setsuna is one of my favorite characters and I was always a bit disappointed she got so shafted in the original anime so I'm really glad to see her with an expanded role here in Crystal.  The scene with the control room in the future was pretty cool to me.  I loved all the scenes with Prince Demando and the funny scene of Rubeus and Esmeraude.  Rubeus just seems to be a much more livelier character in Crystal to me.  Personally though I liked the final showdown with Esmeruade in the original anime better and I thought her dragon powers were a lot cooler.  Even though it is following the manga scene for scene here, I thought Esmeraude's final battle was a bit anticlimatic to me in Crystal compared to how the original anime handled it.  I wish we could have gotten some hint of Sailor Uranus and Neptune in this episode like we did with Luna's human form back in the Dark Kingdom arc.  Still overall I enjoyed the episode and it was fantastic seeing Sailor Pluto again and I can't wait for the next episode because that should mean we finally get to see the Inners reunited!   I was a bit confused at first when Neo Queen Serenity had silver hair but I just checked and she does apparently have silver hair in the manga too so at least this part is being accurate.  I had just forgotten about it.

Ah!!!! I forgot to mention my love of funny Minako landing on top of everyone else when they return to the past!!! Her little freak out while kicking about with her stilettos was priceless and very Anime-Minako to me. 
Also both Chibiusa and Usagi calling her heavy.

Oh yeah, I loved that scene of Minako on top of the girls.  It was giving me the 90s feels right there.  It was great to see some variation in Minako's personality.   Also the scene where she's freaking out when she finds out about Usagi and Mamoru having a daughter.

And now I come in to fangirl some more about Crystal Tokyo.

It still seems kind of strange how everyone is wearing medieval garb in a futuristic city. But it still looks cool, and we got a better view of the city! I can assume that continental drift somehow occurred when CT was formed (this'll make for interesting fanfic). And I love how the cities were islands connected by bridges (though that looks like a really long drive...futuristic cars that go faster possibly?). Also there's apparently a lot of lakes in Crystal Tokyo.

I don't have any screenshots, but if I did, I'd put one here to provide a visual.

Anyway, it was a good episode! I loved the scenes with Diana and silver-haired NQS. I also loved the part with Venus falling on Usagi and Chibs; that was funny. XD

the only thing i'm not sure if i liked was NQS's hair, looked more white than silver/gray...oh well i'll get used to it ^.^v

Is it bad that when I saw pictures of the Black Crystal spewing dark energy in a swirling fountain of death I started laughing? It's like the fountains at the Bellagio had gone dark and twisted or something. Gets bricked.

Joking aside, the aesthetics for the design of Crystal Tokyo come as a surprise to me. Not only are the inhabitants shown in medieval attire (maybe there's some uber retro fashion trend going on at the time?) but Crystal Tokyo also looks like it's in the middle of a body of water, connected to other land masses by bridges. Maybe the latter was a not so subtle nod to global warming? I suppose given the fact that Japan is an island nation, there might be more public awareness and discussions of its effect on their country and how it will shape their future.

I'm also surprised by the controversy about Neo Queen Serenity's hair. IIRC, it was shown pretty consistently to be white/silver in Naoko's artworks, and given that SMC is following the manga very closely for me it's not much of a surprise.

I've noticed how they changed Diana's eyes back to dark pink. And I loved the big reveal scene! Usagi and Mamoru couldn't look at each other, and Minako was just looking in between them thinking, "I'm gonna be AUNTY MINA IN THE FUTURE!" 

And I'm so glad they kept the scene in with Venus falling on everyone and added in her begging for mercy. xD

Btw the episode faded to black at the end for the first time...THTS NOT A GOOD THING!!!! :O

This must have been a really popular episode with the fans or something because Sailor Moon Crystal specifically is randomly trending on Twitter now.

Maybe it's due to the scene when Usagi and Mamoru find out they're Chibi Usa's future parents. It was pretty hilarious.

Glad they kept the scene with Venus landing on top of everyone from the manga. There were quite a few of those funny scenes that they cut out in previous episodes. I'm also glad they no longer used those weird reaction boxes...

Also Diana is the cutest kitten in the world, the end.

LOL I know what you mean about the palace looking huge in the middle! That was funny. It was a great episode though! Each one just keeps getting better and better. It gives me something to look forward to every other week, as I don't have much to look forward to these days at the moment.

I thought something along those lines too. I really have the feeling that the decision to make her hair silver/white in Crystal is a nod to Queen, but it might be not more than that.

I loved it but I miss the bit about Chibi-usa being 900~yrs old. Both the manga and the anime have pretty similar bit about it so its weird for Crystal to leave it out. 

*nods to global warming theory* I love seeing expanded landscapes of places in Crystal. I love the moon kingdom shots, and Crystal Tokyo makes much more sense this way, although I doubt its still Tokyo if sea levels rises, I agree more with Continental drift and the possibility that Usagi raised her favorite parts of town with her power and made them the islands... ^^
