| Congrats SV! May you and your new husband live happily ever after. I enjoyed my wedding with my wife 7 years ago in the same spot (San Jacinto mountains in southern CA) where my parents got married in 1978, but they divorced 8-9 years later. And my childhood memory of attending a wedding of my Mom's family friends when I was 8. |

| Thank you! The wedding and the honeymoon were wonderful. I will post some pictures once I download them onto my computer. The wedding was an affair for friends and family in mine and my husband's hometown. A few family members and friends came from out of town to celebrate with us.
The bachelorette party was at a burlesque supper club (and my soon-to-be-husband attended, because he didn't have a car and I didn't have time to drop him off). The wedding was pretty and went without a hitch. The wedding dress will be preserved for, hopefully, a fourth generation to wear it.
The honeymoon was a Caribbean cruise to Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and Mexico. (: |

Me in the wedding dress during a photo shoot.  The bridesmaids' and the bride's bouquets.   There's a story to the wedding dress. My grandmother originally wore it in 1947. She's in the photograph on the left. My mother wore the wedding dress in 1983. She's in the photograph on the right. My photograph is in the middle. |

| Thank you! (: I never do anything with my hair or make-up, so it was a weird change, but I've received nice compliments on it.
I'll post some more photos soon. The food was Tex-Med by Pappasitos. There was an avocado bar, tamales, and fajitas with the usual side dishes. I and the groom missed out on most of the food, because we were socializing. The wedding cake was made of separate tiers of strawberry shortcake and red velvet.
I also wore my prom dress during the reception, but I don't have photos of the reception, yet. My husband was the man to take me to prom and the dress matched my wedding colors, so that seemed to fit and save a 68 year old wedding dress from further damage. |

| I've already seen some pictures from the wedding, but my oh my =D Such pretties!! It looked like a truly gorgeous wedding m'dear! I find it incredibly sweet and amazing that the wedding dress has been passed down through the ages! Such an adorable sentiment, hopefully one day your daughter can wear it as well ^^ I'm glad you had an amazing time, and dang that avocado bar and stuff sounds amazing xD |

|  Here's the little cake topper we replaced the original with. My step-mother was not happy. (:  These flanked the cake on either side, but my husband re-painted them to match our wedding colors.  Galveston, Texas  The staff from the cruise ship made the cutest animals from the towels. My husband and I learned how to make a few of them, but not the one pictured here.  Montego Bay, Jamaica  I might have squealed when a local marching band saw us the ship off in Jamaica.  Snorkeling in the Cayman Islands We went to a cave in Mexico, but I don't have any pictures from that, because we weren't allowed to take cameras inside of the cave. |
