Did anyone else on this forum go to MTAC and see the Jennifer Cihi concert? It was amazing. She performed with an excellent backing band and they all had so much passion and energy, and started off the setlist with It's a New Day. I was left speechless during the performance because I had so many feels.

Oh that's pretty cool that she did an dub SM song! Did she do any other dub SM songs or was that it?

She did 5 songs, four of them were from the dub. The other was a cover of Katy Perry's California Girls. The set list was:

1. It's a New Day
2. Call My Name (And I'll Be There)
3. My Only Love
4. California Girls cover
5. Carry On

I got to ask her a few questions at the Q&A, she said she doesn't do original music, she explained how she got the band together for the gig (I only remember that the keyboardist plays for Tim McGraw), they had so much energy and that the band members were usually out on the road and were happy to play a one-time gig. She was asked about omitting The Power of Love, she said that when she was planning this with MTAC staff, they only had Songs From the Hit TV Series available, and that's why the songs were only from that album, but she said she would love to do another gig in the future and would play them. She was very gracious and passionate to be at MTAC, and as a fan and MTAC attendee, I would love to see her back again!
