Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of Sailor Moon, married Yoshihiro Togashi, the creator of YuYu Hakusho, in 1999. Much love for love between the creators of two such awesome series.






Now for other super-awesome roles that Megumi Ogata voice acted that I recognize right off the bat:

However, since this seems to be discussing mainly the Japanese aspect of Sailor Moon/Anime I do not believe this topic has any relation to the Dubbed Anime forum. More specifically, this topic does not focus on anything that happens in particular to the SM anime so it does not need to be confided to this area.

(...kind of related: I deeply hope that the two of them someday do an SM/YYH crossover manga. It would be hilarious. Togashi has done parodies of his own work before (the Yoshi Rin de Pon doujinshi) and Takeuchi does funny shorts like Chibi-Usa's picture diary- so, I'm going to hold out hope until the end. I want a crossover SO BADLY.)

You know they've had to at least TALK about it. I mean, how could they not? Me and the BF talk about our story ideas all the time and think of cross over stuff. XD

Honestly, I went through an Ogata phase with a friend so this was information I found out quite a bit ago.

She is also a singer and in fact, I own one of her cds which I bought from a local convention XD

Oh goodness, I *LOVE* her music! #w# My favorites are WINE RED no Kokoro, Koori no KNIFE wo Daite, Unmei no ROUTE and Agape. :3 She has such a wide vocal range, and such rich tones- she can do anything from little girls like Emeraude to men like Kurama and Eagle convincingly. #_# (I actually kind of prefer her "guy's voice"- it seems more smooth to me.) Have you heard her Animegu remixes? She does the opening theme songs from famous anime: mainly ones in which she's acted. THERE'S EVEN A REMIX OF UNBALANCE KISS WO SHITE. #_#
