I don't like DC so no. But I hope it's good since I like Benjamin McKenzie. I liked him when he was on The O.C.

I'm definitely interested in watching! (Especially if the Joker is brought in. ^.^)

Does anyone watch Gotham?
I'm actually quite fond of the series, and it'd be nice to meet some other fans!

Yup, I watch it. And right now I think it's better than some other shows that I'm just tuning in for because I don't know when to stop (Supernatural, Vampire Diaries... and its sister The Originals - which is better than TVD but sadly I think the quality of the second season doesn't match that of the first). I love to guess who's who or to see how Gotham will handle certain characters.

Sadly though, I think my favorite (Harley Quinn) will only show up waaaaay later in the series

I do too, and I haven't watched the newest episode yet (will shortly!), but I really am excited about a young Crane stepping into the story.

It'll be interesting if they do include Joker or not though. I wish Mark Hamill would come and play him, even though he's said he's done with  Joker. T_T

If the show is on air for long enough, they might get to the Joker and then to Harley. But first, Bruce has to grow up and don the Batman cape. I wonder (if we do get to see him) how the Joker's "beginning" will happen. Theoretically he should wind up in a bath of chemicals because of Batman but I think I'd like it if Gotham made up its own origin story.

As for the actors... I'm not sure. Depends who'll be available at the time. I'm thinking... Tom Hiddleston? Simply because I think he's awesome and despite his puppydog eyes he can be terrifying at times.

I'd be okay with that too, and I think there's a lot of stuff that they could do with the Joker even before he gets the chemical bath. 

I think they've also done a good job at mixing characters from the Batman stories with original characters, as well as making it so people who never followed Batman can still enjoy the show. I'm hoping that wlil help it last.

Agreed. I've heard a lot of complaints from old Batman fans about Fish Mooney, because they'd never seen her before. I think that's kind of silly; since personally I do like her character and I think it's cool to watch some possible villains "before the villains", you know.

But yeah, let's hope the show lasts. "Selfie" got cancelled the day after I had binged all of the episodes released until that point

I like her too, and I think that they need to add in some of their own characters to make the story work in the way they want it too.

Oh no! Selfie was really cute, and I was disappointed that it got cancelled. I think they kind of shot themselves in the foot with the name though...

I love me some Gotham, especially because it focuses on origin stories. I actually do not want it to get to where Bruce grows up, because I like that it doesn't focus on him too much. Batman gets plenty of awesome screen time in other versions of Batman, so it's nice to see the show focuses on other characters.

I really, really want young Harley Quinn to make an appearance.

Btw, young Ivy is pretty creepy and amusing. The dynamic between Bruce and Kat is awkward, funny, and cute.

Bruce and Kat are super cute! And yeah, I agree, Ivy is definitely creepy. 

Does anyone have any ideas on who you'd like to see play Harley Quinn, if they did bring her in?

I am not ashamed to say that I have been shipping Bruce and Kat. They are just adorable.

And Harley... Hmmm... I don't know. She would probably have to be a normal and ambitious young lady - but maybe easily amused and have a terrible sense of humor. Foreshadowing, you know

I am totally with you on shipping Bruce and Kat, haha. I think they also chose really good actors for their roles.

The only thing I'm not totally on board with is the whole Barbara story line. Not sure why, it's just not doing it for me.

Oh goodness, YES! At first I was tolerant with Barbara because I know I can be quite misogynistic with female characters who don't behave the way I would in a situation (who I think of as being too whiny or weak or dependent). But as the plot moved forward and she kept doing more and more stupid things, I have decided that it's not my misogyny but the character herself (female or not). First she got Gordon in trouble because she was the most perfect girlfriend ever and she couldn't stay away from him. Then she insisted on knowing everything and being involved and then she did know everything and was involved. But then she decides she can't handle it and leaves Gordon (who she previously couldn't stay away from, even for her own good!)... Gets back together with her girlfriend because duh, of course you flee one police relationship because it's dangerous and go into yet another police relationship... And then, after all of that, she has the nerve to get jealous when she thinks that Gordon has moved on from her.

Yup, definitely one of the weakest links on this show. She's not even interesting or complex; she's just... annoying

Hahaha, that is a perfect summary of her throughout Gotham. 

I was annoyed when she just up and left too, like Gordon wasn't telling you every for a reason, yet she hounded him about it, and got all ridiculous and moody!

I have to admit, I really like watching Gotham because I like Gordon, and I know he can't die, haha.

Yup. And I really like his evolving bromance with Harvey

Bahaha, yes! I really did not like Harvey in the first couple of episodes, but he's really grown on me. I especially liked him in this week's episode.
