| So last night I started reading some on this game and have decided, I really want it. I loved Oblivion and Skyrim is promising so much more. Anyone else anticipating this game and it's arrival? |

You are just reading about all the amazing that is going to be this game noooww??? FAIL. Maybe I should sign you up for game informer magazine for an x-mas present so you can keep yourself up to date on things other than Zelda. XD OH and at work, this morning, before i opened the store this morning, on our tv thing, they showed us some special game play of the Skyrim and HOLY MOONCAKES IT LOOKS AMAZING. That is all. |

| It's pretty awesome. I bought the PC version for my BF, but since it signs up with steam, I can't play it on my computer while he is. I'll probably wait and get it for myself later. You can pretty much do anything and everything in the game. A lot of stuff is unscripted, so you'll see random things like Giants kicking wolves into the sky (no kidding, we saw it happen). The dragons will randomly attack you without warning. There's just so much to do. You can make your own adventure. You just do whatever. Yeah, there's the main story stuff, but like you can go about it however you want.
I quote my bf: "Everything is really awesome. Just everything." XD |

| That's good to hear! I really want to play it, but the game I'm really waiting for is Zelda. I love the open-endedness though. |

| So someone told me a walk around for those who are playing on PC if you want to share one game. Just install it on both computers on the same account, but one person plays it in offline mode. Genius! So now I will be playing! |

| I know my activity on the board has been less than ... well, active lately. It's because of this game and Skyward Sword. I swear. I'm either killing dragons or solving puzzles. Much epicness has been had. Hope everyone is doing well. |

| Since I just bought a new laptop on newegg.com for $1049, I finally am able to play games with amazing graphics. It is only obvious that the first game I bought was Skyrim. I started earlier today.... I made my name Yumi, but I was now I made it Saturn.... oh well. I am a dark elf Also, this is true: I died by a cabbage cart within 5 minutes of playing. DON'T ASK HOW! |

I love Skyrim too! What are your builds? What is your typical playstyle?

| I got the 360 port of Skyrim last Christmas (probably should have asked for the PC version) and started playing. Really love the whole environment of the game, which looks so realistic and really does suck you into that world. The first person view helps with that as well (and I say that as a person who generally doesn't like first person view).
My only problem with games like these is it's so easy for me to get lost. I have no sense of direction at all (first play through of Fallout 3, I stumbled into the town with the bomb by accident. Second play through I missed the town entirely trying to find it).
Also in Skyrim I see my sword skills are exactly what they would be in real life.
Hacking and slashing at you and hoping you fall down before I do. I'd be so dead in a sword fight... |

| I totally know what you mean Tori. I get lost all the time.
I agree with the pc thing. I actually have it on PC, and when you wear headphones and all you can hear is the music and ambiance as you sneak through caves, it's quite thrilling.
Haha! Yeah, it's true.
My build is usually sneak/heavy armor/archery/restoration
It works pretty well for how I play. |

| Skyrim is one of my most played games. I love playing through the storylines, reading the lore, and finding all of the weird and fiddly bits, and getting lost in the middle of nowhere just so I can discover new locations using my trusty compass. Which is how I got my GHOSTBLADE. My default character build is Sneak/Light Armor/Blade/Archery/Lockpicking. So, a pure thief. I started a playthrough where I intend to be a pure mage, but I didn't get very far. I've never played anything with just a magic character before. But, like I said, I LOVE just wandering around and trying to get lost. It drives anyone who watches me play nuts. I spent four hours wandering around Solitude, with just my compass as a guide, to find a way in to the city. I gained an increasingly longsuffering and disturbed audience during my performance. My favorite major questline in the games was, surprisingly, the Mages Guild questline. A couple of other quests that I liked were the quests connected to Morthal (awesomely creepy), and the Wolf Queen questline. |

| The mage build does seem rather strange to play for me as well. =/
So what does everyone think of the new legendary settings for skills and gameplay? |
