Hey everyone~ I follow simplysailormoon on tumblr and saw her encourage people to join this forum, so I decided to give it ago. I don't usually play on forums much aside from a forum on AKB48 where I translate various members blogs o_o;; (basically where I 'work' I am most active). Anyway, I'm 23 years old...that sounds so old now and I started watching Sailormoon back in 1996 I think when DiC had the dubbed version on air. Since then I've watched the subbed anime and am actually re-watching it now and am on S. ^^

In middle school I used to ~be~ senshi with my friends lol. I was designated to be Sailor Venus haha, even though my favorite at the time was Moon. I absolutely adore the musicals and my friends and I used to dance our parts in the front yard all the time.

Let's see... I'm originally from Columbus, Ohio...but I moved down to Florida last December, I really like college football aaand yeah XD

I don't really know what to say, sooo feel free to ask me some questions if you want >D

Lastly, I can speak Japanese, so if you guys know if any of the seiyuu, myu, PGSM actors/actresses have blogs and you want them translated just give me a shout and I'll try and help you out or make it regular if people have an interest in them~

Wow! This is awesome! ^^ I know we have a very wide range in member ages, from 14 to people in their 30s, so don't worry about how old you are. I'm 21 myself and I'm obviously a pretty hardcore sailor moon fan.

^ Haha no~ But funny story...my entire first, middle, and last name are French. So, I was living in Sweden aaand some French missionaries ring my door bell...I answer it...and they start speaking to me in French and I'm like "lolwut?", then they switched to Swedish (which I dont really speak either), before they finally ended in English and I had to send them away ^^;;;;;;

Welcome to the forum! It's nice to see an older audience of Sailor Moon, knowing that I'll be apart of that category in a few years I totally know the feeling of "being" a Senshi! I was always Pluto when me, my sisters, and a few of our friends did it xD I loved taking tall sticks and taping circular objects on top to be her Garnet Rod:p I think its amazing you can speak Japanese! I've wanted to learn myself, but haven't had much free time :/ I considered using RosettaStone for it.

It's nice to meet you! I'm in south Georgia, maybe we'll run into each other if you go to anime conventions xD

You're right about it being an awesome show. After they started making new dubbed episodes, I found the originals...so I remember as a kid when they restarted it in 1998 I was so excited and almost cried when I saw Pluto and the outers for the first time on my own TV. I felt special since I "knew" who they were lol~ Honestly, this is the only anime I really have ever cared about...and still do care about. I'm not an anime or manga lover anymore (used to be in middle school and early high school), but I just...I cant get over the amazingness that is Sailor Moon. My boyfriend thinks Im a freak

My favorites would have to be a tie between Usagi and Minako, they're a lot like me...but I liked Usagi first, until I couldn't be her in my group of friends and was 'assigned' Minako. After ~being~ Minako I guess she just grew on me. They're like twins anyway and I love how quirky they are. They're a lot like me I guess...but blahblahblah I just love them~!

Sailor Pluto has always been my favorite Outer Senshi though, probably because she was the first one I saw and was like "OMG (*___*)"

Man, I watched Sailor Moon when it came out in 95 and 96, but we moved to the states in 97 and they didn't have it anywhere so we just left it to watching the episodes our Granny taped for us, which were sporadic. The last one we saw was the one right before they met Sailor Pluto and were only talking about going to the future with Rini. ... After that, the episodes Granny taped were either a repeat...

lmao, I remember waaaay back when, when my older sister Julianne got us a poster that had all but Saturn on it was all like "There are only 8 sailor scouts - they left out Uranus because it sounds like your butt" and me and my little sister were like 'Oooooooh,' and for the longest time thought Haruka was Saturn (which totally fit - her hair is blonde and Saturn is brownish blonde! 7-year-old logic right there).

XD then we got the manga in early 2000's and I was re-educated. By the time it came on Toonami I was like 'Peh, I don't like Serena's new voice. NOT WATCHIN' IT."

... and we didn't play live-action sailor moon, but I tell you what, our adventure dolls were loved TO DEATH. (I was Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus and ... I think either Mars or Mercury. My little sister was Jupiter and the opposite of the other one I just said. We used to make them dresses out of kleenex and -- wait, did I have a Tuxedo Mask?! I DON'T REMEMBER IF I HAD A TUXEDO MASK AND WHERE HE WENT IF I DID. He's probably with the missing Venus-wearing-Jupiter-fuku. ... what? their powers got mixed up in an extremely dramatic twist.) They lived in our dollhouses, except for Serena who had a secret room through a copy of her compact, which they kept in a little attic and I'M TALKING WAY TOO MUCH ABOUT PLAYING SAILOR MOON.

Welcome to the forums! When I was in elementary school, my classmates and I did something similar to what you and your friends did. We acted out Pokemon (live role-playing game?). I was almost always Charmander.

new season until FOREVER. I think I may have even given up at that point and
just said “Whatever I can read now. Im going to watch the subbed” or something
stupid like that haha~ I remember ranting at their names and that they made
them cousins. Seriously I wanted to see the beautiful LESBIANS at that age, I
mean we’re not stupid.

and Saturn thing, I mean seriously…so cute! XD Were you like, “Oh…” when you
found out? XD

Ffff. Stupid voice was stupid. I hated her voice throughout

re-obsessed with Sailor Moon when I was 11 and my mom got me the dolls again
and I had a Sailor Moon birthday party (I honestly forgot about this until I
found a photo album with pictures from it a few weeks ago…). We just moved a
few weeks ago, so I found a few of my dolls and my wands in one of my totes
from when I moved last time. I will never let her sell them…I will be 60 and NO
ONE CAN TOUCH MY CRESCENT MOON WAND!!!!

Your Moon’s hair is looking pretty nice, not too tangled! I
am impressed!!! As for Mercury…well…she looks like mine with that huge fro.

I didn't know they said they were cousins until I was well into high school and had read all the manga. "SAY WHAT?!" I cried in fury. "HA HA HA HA THIS IS WHY THERE IS NO STARS."

Yeah... ( ._.) I remember battling someone until I was blue in the face about her being Saturn, then eating my shoe when they were right. Luckily for me, I had moved by then.

I remember browsing the Adventure dolls when I was tiny (it was a Toys'R'Us and I was seriously flipping out) and being super-duper, amazingly FURIOUS that EVERY SINGLE STINKING MERCURY HAD FREAKY HAIR. Most displeased, I was. Most displeased. XD Lmao, one of my wands found its way into my husband's stuff and it scared the heck out of him when it randomly went off when he was shuffling his way through a moving box.

My solution: write in word, hit ctrl+a to copy everything, paste it all into Word Pad, then copy it all again and throw it into the boards. xD I learned the hard way with my fanfics.
