I have a tiny question Merc: How did you convert your video? *cries because I can't remember how I converted a mkv file the last time* Whenever I try converting through vlc it doesn't do anything and I'm hesitant about downloading one of those converting programs.

You should try KMPlayer :3 It's what I use ^^  It plays a really wide variety. It worked great with the video from SMC

The problem I'm having isn't with viewing the file (but I'll download what you recommended because I looked it up and I like it!), it's that I need to convert the file for photoshop since it doesn't read mkv files. ;v;

You can cap directly from KMPlayer. That's how I do it

Try pressing cntrl+g   ^^ and play with all those settings.

All of these are huge btw. You gotta click "Enlarge this image" then "Click to see fullsize"

Thanks for you help you guys. I've seen that method but I've never actually made a gif that way before. I usually always just import the file in PS and choose what part I want. I will look up a tutorial later. uwu.
