So, as you can tell, I'm excited for the Viz re-dub of Sailor Moon. I'm re-watching the subs on Neon Alley and reading interviews following the Viz Dub ect ect. I've noticed a lot of speculation as to who the new dub VA's are going to be so I've been doing some digging and research on the net and other forums to look for clues. 

I've found some evidence that may SUGGEST an anime voice actress called Stepanie Sheh (her voice catalogue of anime and video games is impressive) could be involved in the dubbing and could potentially be the new Sailor Moon! 

1. Potential evidence 1 - On the Viz announcement we hear a sample of Usagi's new voice actress saying 'Moon Prism Power, Make-up'. Personally I like the voice clip, she sounds in character, even though it's one line I feel it's how Usagi should sound! I noticed a comment on the youtube video comparing her to Stephanie Sheh. So I seach for voice acting clips of her and she does pull off a high pitched teenage anime voice, so there's a possibility. Her dubbing voice is very close to the sample clip!

2. Potential evidence 2 - So, I go into creeper mode and stalk her twitter account - rewinding to around the time the Viz announcement trailer comes out. Her tweets reference Viz making a big announcement around / before the 16th May - she's never been involved with Sailor Moon now so why take an interest now? Either she's super involved in keeping up to date with the anime world or there's a possibility she's involved in the project. I'm not sure if she's a Viz VA but the interview with Anime Herald said they were getting lots of different voice actors involved. 

3. Potential evidence 3 - A picture she posted prior the the announcement about a 'secret project' she has started dubbing at a studio for a new project - posting below: 



Alot of these VA's have done video games an anime. I've noticed some sheets say 'dubbing' and some say 'visitor' maybe those voice actors are main characters that dont show up until later in the series. I recognise some of the names from other animes too!

All of this is speculation but it's possible! It also might not mean alot to everyone but I know some folk do follow anime voice actors and I'm getting impatient waiting for the 5th of July to find out whose voicing our Senshi!

Even beyond that, there are a couple of names hat have the dubbing tag which also beg speculation- Spike Spencer's, especially, as his voice can carry up to a fairly high-pitched range.

Ah, I heard about the Stephanie Sheh rumor. She did the dub voice for Hinata from Naruto and Orihime from Bleach, and she's also in Lucky Star and K-On. I'll be really excited if she got the part as Usagi. ^^

I just have a feeling she's involved, whether its Usagi or another character. We'll see in a few weeks I guess.

Woah! If Stephanie gets to play Usagi that would be AWESOME!
