After the Senshi decided to investigate Second Earth, they wasted no time using their Sailor Teleport combination power to merge into the other dimension. When they awoke, the planet looked almost identical to theirs, except there was no life. No trees, no bugs, no animals, and no humans. Without plants, how were the girls breathing? Thankfully, their Senshi power allowed them to breath in almost any environment.

"Keep your eyes open." Sailor Splash announced, leading the Senshi down a rocky path. The girls had no idea what awaited them. This was going to be horrible, an entire planet to search without any clue as to what they were looking for.

Second Earth was quiet, Sailor Io decided as they walked. She had no idea what to expect when they had teleported here, but deafening silence never occured to her. Even with her special headphones, all she could hear was the crunching of boots and shoes on dirt. It made sense though if there was nothing that lived here. Yet something had to be here, if Earth was suffering.

She hadn't quite figured out the puzzle that was the relation between the two planets, but maybe it would start to make more sense as they explored.

"What exactly are we looking for again? It just seems...empty here," Sailor Io asked, mostly to break the unnatural lack of noise. It was starting to get creepy.

Sailor Ceres gave a rather haughty sniff when she looked around the area. "No plants? Obviously this planet has no taste," she huffed, looking around with her nose in the air. She really didn't know why this planet, out of all planets, was connected with the Earth. There was nothing here. No animals, no people, no noise...not even beautiful plants. Obviously this was rather disappointing to the Senshi of Flora. Seriously, can't Second Earth be a tropical paradise with plants galore and a beautiful beach with an abundance of guys? She would have definitely preferred that to this dismal wasteland.
"I agree with Sailor Io," the pinkette pitched in, folding her arms over her chest. "What are we looking for?"

It was silent. Empty. Void of any sign of life.

It left her feeling unsettled. This place seemed almost wrong, somehow.

Sailor Snowfall shivered, an action she was unused to. How eerie this place was. The formations of rocks looked a lot like Earth, but it was not Earth. It was what they referred to now as Second Earth.

Snowfall frowned at the lifelessness and tightened her grasp on her Rime Stave, before following after the others. "Perhaps," she began in answer to their questions, "we should just look for anything out of the ordinary? Anything that isn't just rocky landscape, I suppose?"

She didn't truly know what to look for either, but it seemed like the best course of action before they figured out more information as to what they needed to do.

Tethys walked cautiously, still a bit wary of her new comrades. She was still kind of missing her senshi team, the ones who made sense and were just like her. Though the one most getting on her nerves was the pink haired girl who vaguely reminded her of Chibiusa, but more of a brat. It was a fair struggle to not roll her eyes at the girls actions and words. She would remain ladylike, even if her companions wouldn't, she was in some shape a princess after all. Though the thought reminded her just how much she hated the Kinmoku fashion, and her own fuku that incorperated said fashion.

She sighed lightly and spoke up. "It would seem Miss Io is speaking some sense. Surely whatever is causing the problem will be unsual for this planet. It should not be too difficult to miss, if we can all keep our eyes out."

"Ceres!!!" ChibiMoon called out as she ran up to her.  "glad I found you, I've been trying to figure out how we got here" she added

Tethys blinked, silently surprised to see a younger Chibiusa. that was not something she was expecting, and while she felt vaguely relieved to see someone she knew, it also made her feel wary because it probably wasn't the Chibiusa she knew.

She shook her head a little, ignored the young Chibiusa for now and looked around again. they should be figuring out what was wrong with this place so they could each go home.

Switch! Look at the colors in the member list, you have switched places with your colored partner!!! Not everyone has to have a dramatic performance as Sailor Splash, but maybe try to figure out each other's power and work it out?  



As the girls were walking, suddenly everything sorta "skipped". Sailor Splash didn't know how to explain it, but she can tell her other comrades felt it as well. 

Sailor Splash suddenly felt horribly cold, cold to the point she thought her hands were going to freeze off. Normally, her body was pretty durable in any weather condition while in Senshi form, but something was really off. 

"What is happening to me?!" Sailor Splash cried, confused and hurting from the cold. She collapsed on her knees as the cold engulfed her, frost formed on her boots as her hair began to freeze over. She remembered Sailor Mars's warning about the time skips on Second Earth, is this what was happening? Now?! The girls had only been on the planet for a few hours, how often was this going to occur?

Slowly, Sailor Splash calmed her mind, trying to control the foreign power, trying to become one with the snow.

Chibimoon looked around, "I feel so strange... " she said as she put her hand to her head

Sailor Io felt a strange energy wave hit their entire group, the occurrence being sensed by her senshi abilities for a split second. But before she could even register it, she suddenly felt wrong. She couldn't hear as well, and the magnetic field of Second Earth was no longer clear to her.

"What the?"- She stopped and tapped the side of her headphones, getting no response. Were they broken? She saw Sailor Splash collapse, but was distracted by a newer sense hitting her, and Io could tell exactly where the ocean was from here. She could almost see the waves in her head. Just what was going on here?

"Uh, does anybody else feel really wrong now?" Io took off her helmet and tried to adjust to her assumed power malfunction, hitting the side of her head like someone who just came out of a pool. "And why am I hearing water?"

Sailor Ceres squeaked as she felt the energy wave crash over her. Of course, this must have been the time skips Mars had been talking about. She collapsed to the ground, head pounding as if she'd gotten the most painful of headaches. "Chibi Moon?" she croaked, mentally shuddering at how hoarse her voice sounded. "Are you okay?" Her grouchy mood had gotten slightly better when her friend and princess had arrived. But now, she was beginning to feel scared. She no longer felt the connection to her precious plants. Sure, this planet had no plants, but even when the group had first arrived, she could hear the wind as it blew through a corn field, and could smell the sweet scent of blooming roses whenever she reached within her. She had the power to grow enormous trees, and could (not fatally) poison attackers if she called upon the right pollen. She had still felt like the Master of Flowers, and the Senshi of Flora.
But not now. She could no longer feel the plants within her. And that truly terrified her. Had they lost their powers? Without her powers, how would she fight?
Ah, but Ceres felt something else pulsating through her veins. Water. She could hear the waves pounding on the rocks, feel the ocean breeze, and...wait...fire, too?
"Okay...this feels weird," she commented.

There didn't seem to be much going on in this second Earth, but was that a good thing or a bad thing?

As this thought crossed her mind, a wave of disorientation swept over her, swept over everyone. Snowfall tripped, but caught her footing before she fell to the ground.

It was then that she realized that she felt... different. What was this feeling? Then she remembered the word for it.

Warm. She felt warm. Hot even, in comparison to what she was used to. But normally when dealt with this kind of heat, it bothered her, made her feel like she would sweat herself away into nothingness.

But this felt pleasant, and normal. How was that possible? Everything was warm and still. Where was the wind, the movement in the air? Why couldn't she feel it anymore?

She heard Sailor Splash cry out, and then she saw what was happening to the girl and Snowfall's eyes widened. She rushed over to the girl fighting against the snow, and grasped her hand. It was instinctive. Ice and cold had never hurt her before, but now, it almost seemed to burn pain through her skin and her gloves.

Snowfall took back her hand, but calmed herself enough to try and comfort Splash. Her own heart raced at this strange situation, but it was obvious that Splash needed more immediate help. "It's okay, just try to keep yourself calm," Snowfall told her. "Don't fight against it or else it will consume you."

Tethys lost her footing briefly as the world shifted, letting out a little gasp. She blinked and felt very annoyed with herself. Usually her footing was so steady and graceful, it would be horribly embarressing to trip in front of all these strangers! Though was it her fault? She swiftly realized many of the others had not been so lucky, and a few had indeed fallen to the ground.

She could hear everyone else making comments, crying out and generally expressing their confusion. She glanced at Io as she spoke up a question and raised an eyebrow. Then she noticed something....unusual. She was very uncomfortable with the space she was in now. it felt as if it were lacking...something fundamental to her being.

She looked at her hand oddly, wondering where the comforting swirling of steam and fire had gone."Anyone care to explain what just happened...?" she asked a bit softly, briefly shaking her head to get rid of the odd images of flowers and trees and plants in general. When did she ever like gardening?

((Coming in a bit late)) I hope I do this right.

"Weird.." Jakyu said to herself. "Where am I?" 

The young child wandered through the deserted world, trying to comprehend what was going on. The silent world felt strange and unusual. It's something she can't comprehend. The young child continues to walk about until she felt a shift of some sorts, as of time and space were changing abruptly. 

"Okay now I feel even weirder!" Jakyu exclaimed.

"Remember what Rei said about second earth and it's time skips." Sailor Splash mumbled as she slowly stood up. She recalled what Sailor Snowfall had told her about not fighting against her new snow abilities. 

Suddenly, the ground began to shake as a shadow steamed out of the ground around the girl's feet. The steam took shape and formed into a humanoid figure, then opened it's eyes with a huge grin across it's face. Gender was something that could not be made out, since it was just a black, solid shadow, but its face resembled that of the Cheshire cat. 

"Greetings, girlies." The shade spoke into their minds, telepathic, without moving it's mouth.

Sailor Io nearly dropped her helmet in surprise when the shadow appeared from the ground. She hated not being able to sense it coming, feeling useless at the moment. Putting on a brave front, she placed the helmet back on her head and got into a fighting stance, keeping her eyes on the smug creature.

"Who are you and what do you want from us?" Io asked, hoping it would buy her bluff. If it came to a battle, she'd have no idea what to do.

Jakyu tilted her head in deep interest of the shadow being. She dealt with supernatural beings countless of times back where she lived but, not this type of creature. Dusting her dress, she takes one step ahead, in hopes that this creature is a friend and not a foe. 

"Hi!" Jakyu said while keeping a close eye on the shadow creature. "Who are you and do you live here?"

"Well..." the shadow began to speak "You can say I've made this land my new home."

Suddenly, a nerve struck Yumi as Rei's words filled her head. Nothing is supposed to live on Second Earth.

"You are the cause of the disruptions on our Earth. By you living here, you are screwing up the balance!" Sailor Splash spat out without thinking.

"So what?" The Shadow spat back, showing the same rudeness as Sailor Splash. "I was never treated with respect when I lived on your planet, or any planet in that matter. Everyone perceived me as evil because of my looks without giving me a chance. In fact, I am willingly here trying to destroy your precious world."

Tethys was still wary, not liking what was happening at all. "A time skip..." She murmured softly, clenching her fist lightly. How could a simple skip of time result in such oddness in her and the group? It surely had to be more than that. She had learned a vague amount of information from her friend Hisako, the daughter of Pluto. Something else was happening...

And she started as she watched the shadow rising, and narrowed her eyes. Such things were never a good sign, especially in a foreign place. She felt minor respect for Io and her calm questioning, but cringed at Jakyu's childish response to the creature. Hadn't she ever been trained in caution? But she didn't have time to chastize the girl before the shadow began speaking. And she could feel the hairs on the back of her neck prickle as it spoke. Then Splash yelled, and Tethys narrowed her eyes. This was indeed a foreign creature, and perhaps the cause of all this nonsense. She stepped forward regally, shoulders squared and head held high. "No creature who tries to destroy is worthy of respect." She said simply before she made a little flicking motion with her fingers.

"Star Burning Cascade" she called out lightly, and waited for the burst of falling water and fire stars to crash into the creature. And she was stunned when nothing happened at all. Where were her powers?

"Hey hurting others isn't good you know!" Jakyu said as she took another cautious step while focusing on the shadow creature. "Maybe you couldn't find the right place to make friends." Jakyu said, opening her arms. "The universe is a big big place!" She said trying to be gentle but stern at the same time. "I think if you just looked a bit harder, you would have found a place where people would like you so that way, you wouldn't have to do this!" 

The young child knew that without her powers functioning properly, she couldn't defend herself. However, Jakyu is willing to take this risk. She wants to believe that there is more to a person or..being instead of labeling them as evil. Somehow, she wants to help, even if it is a fruitless attempt.

The shade laughed at the girls before melting back into the Earth and vanishing.

"I bet his presence here is screwing up second Earth. By him always being here, it is disrupting the non-life being of this planet..... I bet us even being here is having an effect on our Earth." Sailor Splash stated, facing where the shade vanished.

"What do we do?"

The presence of the strange shadow creature was worrying, though it seemed that their group was divided by how to approach it. Splash asked questions, Jakyu tried compassion, whilst Tethys attempted an attack. Snowfall opted to stay silent during the encounter, watching over her comrades instead.

She wondered what would have happened if Tethys had been able to complete her attack like she had wanted. Would it have damaged the shadow creature at all?

Luckily, for now, the creature vanished away, leaving the group of senshi alone on the bare planet once again.

Splash then spoke of the effects their presence would have on the real Earth, as well as the presence of the shadow. All of it had an effect, but what kind of effect? Snowfall couldn't imagine that the shadow could be doing any good, regardless of Jakyu's innocent faith.

At Splash's question, Snowfall decided to speak up. "We should eliminate the shadow's presence on this planet." She paused for a moment, before continuing. "That is what we're here to do, isn't it? To fix whatever is messing up the balance between this world and our own. And you said yourself that nothing is supposed to be here. It's up to us to make things right again on this Second Earth."

I need more than one or two people posting at a time, when 7 of you signed up....  

"I vote for hunting the shadow down too," Sailor Io said, relaxing a little after it had left. "Lonely soul or not, it's still causing trouble. The quicker we can get it to leave and get out of here ourselves, the better." She felt kind of bad that Jakyu's diplomacy didn't seem to work, but then again, she was more of fighting person anyway.

Jakyu was trying her hardest to attempt another method to approach the shadow figure, but to no avail. It seems like the enemy doesn't want to listen. As the others have already decided they should go out their way to stop it, Jakyu felt it was best to confront the shadow by force. Jakyu knows she's best at confronting enemies in an offensive way, but she only wished that wasn't the only way. Perhaps, she could still talk to the creature.....while pummeling it in the face. That'll do

With that said, Jakyu looks over to the others and nods with that crazy spark in her eyes again. "Let's go teach mr shadow person a lesson then! Yay!"

Sailor Splash looked out into the vast lifeless land that was Second Earth.

"I am not sure what we will do, but when we find the shadow, we will have to decide." And with that, Sailor Splash looked down at her left arm. Instead of feeling the presence of the Gem of Aqua within her hand, she felt cold.... mind numbing cold.

The shadow sat high up on a pile of rocks grinning at the girls. It slowly morphed from a shadow to a solid black form before speaking. "I already told you, I refuse to leave. Your universe turned me away when I wanted to be friendly." The shadow then lifted its arm and a pile of sharp rocks floated upwards behind him. "I'll give you one last chance to leave me alone, I don't want to fight you, but if you don't stop pestering me I will become violent."

Snowfall frowned at the shadow. Seeing the heavy rocks floating so easily behind him was worrying. If she had her powers, she could use the winds to swipe away those rocks, to keep them from moving any closer to the group of gathered senshi.

But the winds had left her for a while now, not to return. How could she possibly fight back against this shadowed being without having control of her own powers?

Something he said had been interesting though. He had tried to be friendly on Earth? And he was giving them a chance to back off before resorting to attacks? Snowfall glanced at Jakyu and found a small smile come to her lips.

Perhaps innocent kindness was the best approach after all?

"We have no more wish to fight than you do. But your presence here is causing a lot of disrupt on the real Earth." Snowfall paused, wondering if any of this would even get through to him. She was doubtful if a creature like this could be reasoned with, but they had to try. "You can't stay here. It's doing far too much harm to innocent people."
