Earlier this month a position opened up for a new Roleplaying Moderator to watch over our RP Welcome and Announcements section. When applications came in, we were really excited to see a favorite Lotus had applied to fill this vacancy - a lotus we may or may not have kidnapped in the past (don't speak of the SilMil Mob or you'll be sleepin' with the fishes), who had been honored as August's Roleplayer of the Month, and who, after returning from LOA, has been all over the section, participating in events and chats and keeping up with news and activity - sometimes surprising me by popping out of lurking (I didn't even know he was in that chat!) to answer someone's question quickly and efficiently (and then fading back into lurkerdom like some sort of crouching tiger, hidden helpful-information-provider o_o). With his background as a Silver Crystal Moderator, an eye for detail, and a fun sense of humor, we were excited to bring him in to face the dreaded Roleplaying Moderator Boot Camp!

The RP Boot Camp is a program designed to introduce new RP moderators to how our large and active section works behind the scenes, where mods are encouraged to ask questions and get a feeling for everything as they're working through sometimes strenuous tasks that require knowing our rules and procedures forwards, backwards, and upside-down. For the sheer volume of exercises involved, we give new candidates two weeks to successfully complete training.

Light finished all tasks with pretty perfect marks in less than two days o_o He's just brilliant like that. ;D Earning his Rainbow Crystal badge in record time!

Due to Bubbles stepping up to become Sailor Neptune, it created an opening for a moderator for the Silver Millennium section, and Light has graciously accepted the move to take over moderation there, soooo
