I was just wondering if GC had any evanescence fans or not? There my favorite band ever and host some pretty great concerts and plus Amy Lee has the best voice I've ever heard especially raw full of no tune ups or tweaking. My favorite songs are: Going Under, Hello, Weight of the World, Sweet Sacrafice, End Of A Dream, Lithium, Haunted, and made of stone. Any fans?

My favorite Evanescence songs are Bring me to life an My immortal.
I love her voice combination with the music. It really is a challenge to sing any of their songs but feels so good. I once sang Bring me to Life with a band onstage and it was really awesome!

Evanescence has been one of my favorite bands for about 8 years now.

Oh I love field of innocence and October too! Their very old stuff got me hooked from origin.

Ah yeah I like Evanescence. I haven't listened to them in awhile though and I haven't heard their newest album (even though I have it). I remember my favorite songs were like... Lithium, My Immortal, Sweet Sacrifice, Weight of the World, Hello, um... Tourniquet...umumum...Breathe No More, and probably others lol

Their songs are fun to sing because they're really challenging (To me anyway)

I don't know why, but Evanescence reminds me of Nightwish(has anyone heard of Nightwish? It's pretty popular in Europe)... And my favorite must be Bring me to Life, too ^^. I don't listen to this kind of music much (I'm more into classical music and SM music), so Eva and Nightwish are exceptions^^. Nightwish's Phantom of the Opera's woman vocalist's voice is amazing...

I also like missing and I'm a pretty big night wish fan too Uranus! Nemo and over the hills are my favorite songs. I enjoy gothic metal to an extent! I prefer Tara when she was with the band which she isn't anymore. Does anyone like lacuna coil?

I used to listen to them when I was grade school. I love their music back then. I still like their music today, but I'm not a big fan like I used to be.

Totally got to see them in concert not too long ago. It was awesome.

I love Evanscence! After I heard Bring Me To Life, I completely fell in love with it! Going Under si also epic and fantastic ^^

I'm a fan as well, but then again, I like the whole goth rock/symphonic metal genre to begin with, especially bands with a female lead....Nightwish, Within Temptation, Delain, Lacuna Coil...I really adore all of those guys.

Bring me to Life, Going Under, Imaginary, and Tourniquet would be my favorites, but I really liked "Fallen" overal. Thier 2nd album "The Open Door" while good, was kinda forgettable for me. Their 3rd album I enjoyed much more than their 2nd, but not as much as their first. I haven't had much of a chance to pick out favorites from it I've only heard it a couple times.

I love my heart is broken, made of stone, and oceans from the third album. I just wish we didn't have to wait six years for a new album. I have all of evanescence old songs from origin on my iPod too. I love solitude, field of innocence, and October. I also love her version of freak on a leash with Korn.

Thats because there was a dispute between the band members and Amy and the creative decisions, a case of fame getting to one's head I hear. The other band members got fed up with Amy's attitude/inflated ego and left, so they had to find new members, which explains why there was a long delay.

I could be completely wrong. I pay more attention to the music itself than whats going on behind the scenes between band members. I heard it 2nd hand from a friend who keeps far better track of these things than I do.

I have no idea about Amy's band drama and could care less like you said. She does switch members a lot, but I heard it was because they were causing drama for her but who knows? I know that she isn't as fit as she used to be. She's gained a lot of weight and some of her fans have gave her heck for it, but I don't care because her music as good and that's all that matters. The size of her @$$ is a trivial matter in my book.

I found Nightwish just about a year after Evanescence. It honestly took first place before Evanescence shortly after. I like Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Epica, etc. with the female singers just like Knight does.

I like within temptation, angelzoom, and night wish too. I prefer Tara I think was her name over their current singer, but there still good. Lacuna Coil also has some good songs.

Her name is Tarja Turunen. The singer that replaced her was Anette Olzon, who has now quit the band as well.

I also like the band Plumb. Amy admits she got a lot of inspiration from listening to coincidentally "Tiffany Lees" music.

More like had to leave due to health issues, I hear shes still interested in coming back on a later date once she recovers, which makes me happy as I liked Anette. I don't think she'll end up touring with the band due to said health problems, but maybe an occasional concert or another studio single/album.

I liked Tarja too, of course, and shes making albums of her own now which are actually pretty good themselves.

I'm curious to know if Nightwish will try and get a 3rd female lead, or wait for Anette to try and recover some more.

Glad to hear she left on good terms with them, but sad that it's on health related issues.

I'm not gonna get into the band dynamics or anything. I don't keep up with the lives of the artists or anything. I just listen to the music, if it's good it's good if not I don't listen. I don't like judging the art based on the artist. I don't read the magazines or anything that has information aside from their music because their lives aren't any of my business and isn't a deciding factor on whether or not I like the music. Just my thoughts though.

I like all music genres, just not all music^^
