Physical Description (include clothing generally worn): Ami is around 5'2" inches tall. She has a fair complection and blue hair. She also has blue eyes and keeps her hair short. She usually is pictured wearing her school uniform which has a blue skirt and collar with a white long sleeved shirt and red ribbon in the center. The school uniform is also the one Usagi and Minako wear. Ami is also shown wearing a dark blue one piece bathing suit when she swims.

She is usally shown wearing pastel colors and skirts. She does wear pants on occasion with a white or blue blouse to go with it. She has modest taste in clothes and doesn't like to show much skin. When she's working in the candy factory she wears a white jump suit and hair net because that's the factory preferred uniform.

Personality: Ami tends to be shy, smart, and reserved within her group of friends and takes her studies seriously. She is always encouraging the girls to study more and always has a book in hand. She tends to shake her head and disagree when the girls get googly eyed over a boy but has had a few crushes in her life. Her peers view her with a mixture of awe and distaste, misinterpreting her inherent shyness as snobbery, and so she tends to have a difficult time making new friends. She dreams of one day becoming a doctor like her mother.

Ami is depicted as sweet, gentle, and loyal, as well as slightly insecure. She also dislikes the fights of Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars Anne Allison describes her as "a smart girl who needs to relax", calling her "conscientious" and "studious", "everything Usagi is not". Early on in the story, she relies heavily on the approval of her mother, teachers, and friends, but as the series progresses she becomes stronger and more confident in herself. She is generally the most sensible of the main characters, and is often the only one embarrassed when the group has a dull-witted moment.



Ami has grown since the final battle with Galaxia and has become a very mature young woman. She has started her senior year of high school and has really buckled down even more than usual on her studies. She still trys to make time for her friends and has even taken an extra job with her friends working in a candy factory that has just opened. She doesn't really need a job but thought it would look good on her college resume even though she ends up being the valid victorian anyway.

Any Unique Abilities/Skills: She has power and control over water and is a geinus with an IQ that hits 300.

History: Ami lives with her workaholic mother who's a doctor at Tokyo Hospital. They look very similar, and Ami admires her mother and longs to live up to her example. She has a father who's an artist who left her mother. Ami resents her parents divorce because it tends to come off as taboo in Japan. At her middle school, she has no friends before meeting Usagi and always eats lunch alone on the roof so she can study. Usagi seems to be the only one to realize that Ami is merely shy, not truly standoffish, and in befriending her gradually helps Ami to learn that she is more than just a bookworm. Ami's mother attempts to transfer her to another school because she thinks Ami's friends are bad influences, Ami rebels, avoiding the admission interview and spending the night at the Senshi hideout with Rei. Later she tells her mother that what she's doing in her life right now is more important than studying, and her mother understands.


Ami's Senshi identity is Sailor Mercury. She wears a uniform colored in shades of blue, and is given specific titles throughout the various series. These include Soldier of Water and Intelligence, Soldier of Wisdom,^[Soldier of Justice and Wisdom,and Soldier of Love and Exams. Her personality is no different from when she is a civilian, although certain special abilities are unavailable to her in that form. As she grows much stronger and more powerful, Sailor Mercury gains additional powers, and at key points her uniform changes to reflect this. The first change takes place in Act 35 of the manga, when she obtains the Mercury Crystal and her outfit becomes similar to that of Super Sailor Moon. She is not given a new title.A similar event is divided between episodes 143 and 151 of the anime, and she is given the name Super Sailor Mercury.

In Episode five "Computer School Blues" Ami begins to awaken as a Sailor senshi as the symbol of Mercury begins to glow on her forehead. Luna sees this and realising that she had made a mistake, summons the Mercury transformation pen and tosses it to Ami who transforms and then uses her first attack, Mercury Bubbles Blast to stop the zombified students and hide them from the monster.

Senshi Name: Sailor Mercury
Senshi Fuku: She wears a fuku which consists of a blue skirt and light blue front and back ribbons. She wears mid length gloves that stop at her elbow which end in a blue cuff. The choker around her neck is blue with a gold star along with a light blue gem to match in her tiara. The front ribbon has a blue heart in the center that match the color of the studs she wears in her ears. The boots she wears are knee length and match the blue in her skirt.

Henshin/Transformation:

"Mercury Power Makeup!" : This transformation was used in the first and part of the second seasons.

"Mercury Star Power Makeup!" : This transformation was used in the last part of the second season, the third season, and part of the fourth season.

"Mercury Crystal Power Makeup!": This transformation was used during the last part of the fourth season and all of the fifth.

Ami transforms into Sailor Mercury and when she does a blue light surrounds her causing bubbles to burst forth causing her fuku to appear.

RP Sample: Ami couldn't believe what Usagi had done. She could've easily gotten a job at the hospital as an intern working under her mother or even working part time in the afternoons sterializing the equipment, but Usagi had insisted they all get jobs here because it would be "fun". This had resulted in another catastrophe which none of them had been prepared for. They had been working as usual that day which was typically a five hour shift after school. The company prohibited wearing any jewelry, but Usagi had insisted on wearing her prized engagement ring Mamoru had given her. Ami had tried to caution her, but she just wouldn't listen to her and had lost it in an enermous pile of taffy. They had tried searching through the sticky goo to find her ring but to no avail--not yet anyway. The had all hid in the bathroom standing on top of the comodes before the factory had closed in fear of getting caught. Usagi apparently thought it would be a good idea to stay all night in the factory until they found her ring. She sighed in defeat knowing they were all losing precious study time because of Usagi but it was too late to worry about it now because the factory had already closed, and they were all still here searching for the ring.

Can you give us something other than her Uniform and her fuku that she wears or will she be in uniform when she's not Sailor Mercury? Also I believe the History part calls for how Ami became a Senshi to be included. I don't want to seem nit picky but could you cover her as Super and Eternal Mercury too? If you're going for a general bio that is, if not please let us know. Please let us know if you need any help with this! Ami happens to be my favorite senshi and I'm always willing to help!

Sorry for the double post but I forgot to ask you to add Mercury's other sailor Forms, Like Super and Eternal. What the fukus for those look like and what phrase she says to become them. Sorry My so sorry!!

I just want this to be a simple profile for the candy role play. I am going to make my future Jupiter one into that kind but not this one I think. I don't have time at the moment for all of that so what do I need to include just to get this approved for that RP?

This is my opinion so don't hold it against me. Why would I need all that info when were just going to be goofing off and not fighting youmas? I understand you're here to help, and I don't mind adding how she became sailor mercury but that's a little bit excessive for this kind of RP because no fighting will be done. Forgive me if I am wrong but it just seems like a complete waste of time if there's no battling? If this sounds offensive then I'm sorry but I feel like I needed to say it.
