| So for now this is just a Books you are looking forward to thread, but there is no need to double up. I saw the other one and it's so close to the end of the year that I want to fangirl over ones that come out next year. The two Hugest ones are A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan, on January 8th, and HOPEFULLY the next book in the Stormlight series by Brandon Sanderson... |

| There's an Ally Carter crossover novella coming out next year, as well as another book in her Heist series, and the second book in Maureen Johnson's "Shades of London" series.
I think there's a new Tamora Pierce book coming out next year as well, but her website is so ridiculous to navigate and so rarely updated with accurate information that I have no idea about that. She's been talking about ideas for a while, so who knows. |

| Just started reading - The Miss Dream translation of SM manga, because I lost the copies I had as a kid
Looking forward to - Sailor V, Kingdom Hearts books, and the third 50 Shades book (hides in shame)
Generally - Hoping that with my college graduation coming, I can get back to enjoying reading. For the past few years I just stopped doing it because of all my reading for homework |

| I will read the Dresden Files this year. Despite my utter contempt for the first book, and the second book, and the beginning of the third book, and my annoyance with people who recommended the series highly, only to go, "Oh, you should've skipped the first one," and then, "Oops, sorry, you should've skipped the second one too," and then, "Maybe I should have told you to start with the fourth one." I will read the damned series even if it makes me apoplectic. |

| Andrzej Sapkowski: Witcher - The Last Wish.
Gosh, it's been ages since I last had a good read, you know... with characters that actually act like human beings. Sure, it isn't nice about some topics, the world is full of "not nice" people. There are grim jokes, but DAMN, if the characters aren't believable, and the emphasis on the main character is the smallest, compared to the emphasis on the world he travels through. |

| Yay... I have finished two books. And yet school has likely had me read enough articles to count toward 5+ books. |

| Witcher was awesome. Currently reading: Falling Stars (Battletech science fiction, officially labelled a Battletech/Mechwarrior - My Little Pony crossover, but it's more akin to scifi of the pre-fall era). It's a bloody awesome science fiction, that includes magical ponies, giant robots shooting each others to smithereens, and a cosmic accident. The characters are all human, it explores the themes in the difference between the two races, the implications, the clashing morals ad opinions in a nice, discussion-filled way, so it feels like a sci-fi novel that stands on it's own. |

| I just finished rereading Oryx and Crake and Year of the Flood, both by Margaret Atwood, in preparation for the release of the third book of the trilogy. It's called MaddAddam and comes out in August!
I've been on a reading rampage since finishing school for the summer in April. Just can't fit much of it is during the school year! |
