Anyone here read the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton? I'm a newbie to the series. I first read the 13th installment, Micah, and loved it; so I quickly went to my library and picked up the first novel Guilty Pleasures. I have always loved vampires, even vampire slayers. (I named my cat Buffy, after all!) However, the zombie raising was odd and new to me. Also, oddly enough I don't handle gore well but somehow I still loved the books. I can't wait to get the second book.
