| I'm Laurana, I'm 25 and from Michigan. I'm a happily married woman to a man who treats me like a goddess! I work for Target doing a job I hate, mostly because the customers are so darned rude. I went to community college for about 2 years, but never got a degree because I wanted to go to MSU but couldn't afford it. I was originally going to major in Japanese, then changed to Baking and Pastry Arts, but now I really don't know any more.
Anyway, I've been a huge fan of Sailor Moon since 1998 when I discovered it on tv. We had recently moved and gotten DirecTV installed. I was flipping through the channels and, by chance, stopped on Cartoon Network when Sailor Moon was one. I remember it was the dub episode "An Artful Attack", where Mamoru and Usagi pose for a painting, because of the Star Locket. From then on it was a complete obsession for me up until about 2005. I only recently rediscovered my love for the show back in late 2008-early 2009, and from there I started watching the musicals. I love the manga more than all other forms, but PGSM comes in a very close second. My favorite senshi is Sailor Cosmos, followed quite closely by Sailor Moon. I fell in love with Cosmos because she is so mysterious and beautiful, and her story is so sad. My favorite arc of manga is Sailor Stars, but I also really love the Dark Kingdom arc. I'll always love the anime because it got me into Sailor Moon, but I get so bored by it now a days, and the musicals, well, they were a passing phase and now I'm find them tiring. I'm a huge shipper of UsagixMamoru, I love them in any form of Sailor Moon, however I love them in the Manga and PGSM most of all.
Of course, I do have other interests that have pushed Sailor Moon aside again. I am a huge fan of Korean dramas, they are so entertaining! My favorites, as of now, are Goong and My Lovely Sam-Soon. My sister and I are in the process of downloading more dramas to watch and become enamored with! I also really really love K-Pop music, it's become my new obsession! I love SNSD, Rainbow, Secret, G.NA, IU, After School, Super Junior, TVXQ, and B2ST. I love music in most forms, but I hate Rap, Jazz, and Metal. I love to sing and I really miss playing my clarinet. I was in Marching Band all 4 years, and choir for my last 2 years, of High School.
If I'm not watching K-Dramas or K-Pop videos, my nose is in a book. Reading is my biggest love because it's a great escape. I'm a massive fan of fantasy novels, I just love magic and sword fighting! A few of my favorites are The Witches of Eileanan series, the Exiles Trilogy (which is only 2 books at the moment), the Pern Series, and the Tairen Soul saga. I have so many books because I keep all the ones I read, I want to have my own library someday. It got so bad that the hubby and I had books taking up most of the space in our room, which is pretty tiny, so my wonderful mommy got me a Nook for Christmas. Let's just say that my Nook is my baby, my precious!
Really, that is about all I can think of at the moment! I'm not really good at forums, I'm not very good in any type of social setting because I'm not great at meeting new people and talking to them. I really hope to change that though, so I hope I can interact with everyone. |

| Have you read anything by Tamora Pierce? I loved her books when I was younger, and I still do. ^-^ You should definitely check her out. And to start out on my favorite episode is amazing! I loved the star locket episode; the one with Yumeko Yumemi, or something like that, right? <3 Auhhg, that arc was so amazing. [Loves Elysion] Lol. I'm trying to get into Korean dramas but I don't know any good ones. Care to enlighten me? <3 Welcome to the forum! |

| I love Sailor Cosmos, too, hence why I chose her as my username. I'm the same; I have a very hard time interacting with and meeting new people, but trust me, this place is different! I've met a lot of new and exciting people who all share my love of Sailor Moon. You'll fit in fantastically. |

| Aw, I really like you. How long have you been married? I'm sorry that you are not happy at Target though -- I have to admit, I do not think I could work there! People tend to be pushy at department stores. But at least it's a job! ^^ I used to watch k-drama a lot myself! Of course I can not remember any names at the moment (haha) but my first korean show was Full House. It was soooo adorable! Have you ever seen it? I hope you enjoy your stay here. Everyone is really comfortable to be with, so I think this will be a great place for you to slowly break into the "social scene." To be honest, I am not good with crowds at all. It's easy to feel overwhelmed among so many people. But it is very nice here. PM me if you ever want to talk or have any questions or concerns. |

| P.S. I love your avatar! I think that is one of the most beautiful moments in the anime. ^^ |

| I've listened to a little K-pop. SNSD mostly to be honest. I really liked Run Devil Run. XD
Also, since you were thinking about baking arts, do you bake occasionally? I always thought it'd be fun to take a class or two on baking and decorating cakes and stuff.
And welcome!! |
