Hello everyone !

I'm Marine, said Nighty - and since this nickname comes from my very first OC Sailor Night, I made it my username. (It's been a long time since I last used it !) My avatar is her too.

I'm 25 and french ; hence my bad english. I hope you can forgive my mistakes if I make some. I try my best not to ! I'm currently a book seller in the manga section of a nice store. Too bad Sailor Moon manga are too old in France, I can't have these in store ! I hope they will be edited again, like it is in Italy and US...
Books are a big part of my life. And my biggest dream since I was a child is to be a writer one day. I'm working on it.

I've been a Sailor Moon fan since the first time the anime aired in France - I was about 7 years old and the passion never left me ! My favourite character is and always will be Usagi/Sailor Moon/Serenity, but I'm also a big fan of Sailor Uranus, Sailor Star Maker and Prince Diamond. I won't get started about why I love these three, or I'll never stop !
I love the manga a bit more, but the anime and the musical have a special place in my heart too.

I found this forum thanks to schizophrenia's tumblr. (My tumblr username is amadriel ~)
I don't usually join english forum because I'm afraid I won't be able to speak too much, but this one made me want to try.

You're english is great! I have a generally high tolerance for pretty bad english (a lot of my friends have learning disabilities so texts and emails from them are always difficult to understand) but your english is great!!

Your english was really good. A lot better than my French. Actually i don't really know any french and I live in an area in the US where more French is spoken and celebrated. But then again some of it is cajun french and well that is just some confusing stuff. My BF understands most French cause his grandpa spoke it. My grandparents could speak it but they never spoke it around me. Its unfortunate that I never really learned another language. :/

Brit-chan> French is a difficult language, and it must be a nightmare to learn for a foreigner ! We have lots of confusing grammars rules (an english customer at my work find it funny that every name here has its 'gender', or the two different ways to say 'you'), even for french people it confusing sometimes. x_X But I love it anyways - and am your usual grammar nazi on french forum ; texts and email also invaded us and youngsters now can't write. /sigh

That isn't just France! The current and younger generations from my own think it's cool to sound like an idiot. *shakes her head* and what's sad is there are different TYPES of typing weird/retarded.

Hahahahahaha. My friends and I do it ironically on Facebook. Just today I told my friend "I miss you so muchhhhhhhhh."

Yeah, see, that doesn't strike me as attempting to talk like the kind above, I am not perfect in my spelling, and I purposely spell things wonky some times too because I am emulating how I would say something in person, and typically the person who it's going to knows that.

Not only it sounds retarded but takes a while to understand when you're not used to it. (I already have a hard time reading these... things in my language, but in english I gave up long ago.)

I laugh everytime i say it cause i went to The Rice Festival that is in a town down here and there was a beauty pagaent for Queen of the festival or whatever and this one girl started crying on stage and through sobs cried out "Laissez Le Bon Temps Roulet!" XD
