Biography/History: All we really know about her is that she's come from the planet Mau. She in an important trainer of the scouts. She's tasked with helping tofind the lost moon princess.

One day she runs into Usagi when Usagi is walking to school. Usagi helps
her by pulling a bandaid off of her head. Luna finds her later at her house and talks to her. After that she gives Usagi her brooch and explains to he rhow she can transform in to Sailor Moon. She also helps find the other scouts and gives them their transformation pens. She lives with Usagi.

Later the moon princess awakens and Luna is shocked that Usagi is the princess. After she is awakened Luna regains all of her memories. She tells the girls of the Silver Millennium. She grows close to Artemis, Aino Minako's cat. Later, when ChibiUsa comes into the picturewe find out that Luna and Artemis have a daughter named Diana in the future.

Later on she also falls in love with a human named Kakeru. Luna tries to go home when she has a cold and ends up almost getting hit by a car. Kakeru saves her from getting hit. Luna wakes up in his house and he nurses her to health. Kakeru collected a comet shard and it attaches itself to his life force and slowly staels his energy. This causes him to get severly ill. Luna runs away from Usagi and goes to his house. Once the scouts defeat the enemy Sailor Moon wishes Luna can be a human just for the night.

Luna finds Kakeru who is passed out at the same exact place he saved Luna. Suddenly, thanks to Sailor Moon's wish, she is able to transform into a human. The light from Luna's transformation wakes up Kakeru. He asks
her who she is and she tells him that she is "Princess Kaguya". BEcause
of this magic Luna can take Kakeru to the moon. He realizes that she
is Luna and she tells him that he is healthy again. She tells him to
start his life over with the woman he loves. She tearfully leaves him
and he "wakes up" in the snow.

In the past during the Silver Millennium she and her partner, Artemis, used to be advisers to Queen Serenity. Luna was also Princess Serenity's servant and was sworn to never leave her side. During the war, Queen Serenity used her power to send the cats to the future in order to awaken the Sailor Scouts on Earth.

“It’s raining outside…” Luna said to Artemis. She really didn’t like the rain. It was her least favorite type of weather. She sighed and walked over to the window. As she stared out the window she saw the rain falling gently on the window. She saw people walking past with umbrellas and others running trying to shield themselves from the rain. Usagi was late as usual and Luna was getting impatient. What is with Usagi? Luna thought, she’s usually late, but I thought maybe she’d try and get here faster, since we’re talking about her future. She sighed again and continued to stare out the window waiting.
