| Lol if you think dub Usagi’s voice is too deep you should watch the original edited 90s/2000 dub. The first girl sounded age appropriate but the two after jeezus.
And yes the dub paired with the dvds you got is unedited and uncensored the only things changed is some added jokes to spice up the dialog. |

| SEVENTEEN EPISODES. 4 in a row! Gotta say, not a big fan of Usagi's family. I dunno, they just come off as a bit too harsh for my tastes. I get cultural differences may play a part, but it's still too much IMO. |

| Take into account it's not only spatial cultural difference, but also temporal. The show was made in the nineties while we are about to enter the new twenties. With that time difference you'd notice sharp cultural differences from fiction made in your own culture. And taking into account the already present contrasts between core Japanese and Western moral and cultural customs... |

| Finally got around to episode 21! 1. I internally cringe whenever they pronounced "anime" that way ("aw-nee-may"? WHYYYYY) 2. Rei would make a good closet brony 18 years later... |

| I have finished the box set! I will try to carry on as soon as I can, but for now, i have 1 question... When will Usagi actually get proper respect for what she does? I mean, she was the first to become a Sailor Guardian and is alwas the one to land the final blow on the episode's monster, yet she's still treated like somewhat of a buffoon by Rei and Luna. I just want to see her get some proper respect... |

| You will find that Usagi and Rei's relationship throughout the series is akin to sisters who bicker all the time but love each other deeply. Rei ends up being the supportive best friend to Usagi even though she's rough around the edges in her interactions, especially to Usagi. Usagi's "buffoon" bit is sort of kept throughout the series though it gets toned down for the most part. Usagi does remain relatively dense and sort of the "village idiot" but I don't find it bothers me as the series goes on, because you can see she matures quite a bit as well while keeping true to herself, which is one of the reasons I love Usagi.
Luna does tone down quite a bit after the first season and becomes more of a guide and supportive friend. |

| Okay, sweet!
Also, I just want to say that, while I will definitely continue with the series, I won't instantly buy the next set as, being a jobless 15-year-old, £20-25 is quite a bite out of my money (it's roughly $27-36 for the yanks reading) since my savings dont often go above £100 ($130ish). |

| I'm super excited to hear you have finished the first Season! It was a turning point in a lot of our lives, and I'm sure we're all super excited you loved it too! <3
I'm unaware of your feelings on dubs, but I do know that ViZ will let you watch for free, if you want to just jump right in to season 2. Some are subbed I believe (at least the StarS season for sure) https://www.viz.com/watch/streaming/sailor-moon
Hulu is always an option if you are not wanting to buy the boxsets, and would rather just stream them. |

| I'm not sure if Hulu or the Viz streaming is available in the UK but there's always VPNs you can use if you can't wait to buy the next set. ^_^ |

| Hulu isn't available in the UK, nor is Viz's streaming from what I've checked. TV hasn't aired the series for a decade and a half, and never even got beyond R despite our version of Fox Kids (now Disney XD UK) promising continuing episodes beyond R. (Besides, I was born in 2002, so it wouldn't have changed much for me) I can wait anyway. I once waited 2 YEARS so I could save up for a gaming PC. (Mid-2015 to July 2017) Also, what are VPNs? |

| VPNs are virtual private networks, basically ways to browse the web without sites and other lurkers of your privacy from seeing you browse and also disguises your location (this is such a basic explanation, i would suggest doing some research before considering it). Many people use them so they can get around country bans. I believe at one point there was an add on for both firefox and Chrome that was like a VPN and allowed you to watch stuff on streaming sites that won't work in your country, like US Netflix and Hulu for example.
i'm not super well versed in it as I don't use it but I do know international members were using it for when the Sailor Moon Crystal episodes were coming out on Crunchyroll and Hulu. |

| Alrighty... Meh, not interested. I'll just rely on a McAfee plugin and my own smarts for my internet safety, and I'm not THAT fussed about not being able to see it via streaming anyway. |
