Personality Traits:
Artemis is extremely kind-hearted and hard-working, always putting the mission and his friendship with Luna, Minako and the other girls first. He is also extraordinarily loyal to his friends, always willing to help them, no matter what the odds, and no matter what harm may come to himself.

That said, Artemis can often get anxious in a given situation, and his worries often reflect his own lack of confidence. Oddly enough, he is also extremely impulsive and acts without thinking, usually jumping into circumstances far-outreaching his capabilities. He tries to have a sense of humor, but it can often come off as forced or mean, and ends up leaving him getting a scolding from Luna or Minako for his lack of manners and tact.

Storyline Specific Information:
Additional Information: Born on the planet Mau in the time of the Silver Millenium, Artemis' race began as resembling human, but became a race of talking cats for reasons lost to time. Along with Luna, he became a direct advisor to Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom, but when the forces of Earth led by Queen Beryl and empowered by Queen Metaria attacked, he and Luna found themselves sealed away in hibernation, awakening millennia later in 1990's Tokyo, Japan. While Luna was sent to help another of the senshi, Usagi Tsukino, realize her powers, Artemis was sent to work with Minako Aino, reviving her powers as Sailor V and later as Sailor Venus. Since that time, Artemis has been Minako's inseparable partner, living and working with her battling the forces of evil, training her to face future villains as well as being a loyal and fierce friend.

Artemis galloped through the alleyway, leaping over every fence and signpost that he could. He had never been the most punctual of cats, but an entire 30 minutes late? Now he knew how Minako felt.

It seemed so innocent too. A new brand of tuna at the grocery store...and they were giving out free samples! The kind old volunteer seemed to have her heart lightened by the white feline broadly smiling as he was given each and every fresh morsel, with a texture that just melted in his mouth. He was in absolute heaven, until the noting of his tardiness on the wall clock made him scurry off as if a horde of pitbulls had begun to chase him.

Just one more turn.... Artemis could see the end in sight as he leapt over a pair of buildings. Executing a perfect forward flip, he managed to yank a small bundle of lilacs out of a nearby flowerpot - hopefully a worthy penance for his crime. Leaping from pole to post to fire escape, he found himself in Usagi's backyard, where an obviously annoyed Luna sat quietly, a large plate of half-eaten fish sitting in front of her.

Artemis landed perfectly with all four paws onto the small picnic table, laying the lilacs down beside the plate. "Sorry I'm late...can you believe this traffic?" he gave a coy smile, hopeful that his attempt at humor would spare him from Luna's seething rage.
