I'm super surprised nobody made a thread on this yet. As of this post, around 10 days ago, nicktoons official youtube and tumblr posted this trailer.
And today, an article on Polygon.com (here, btw) revealed that it's just gonna be a movie, and just over an hour long.
Needless to say my sister, her friends and all my friends are just. So happy.
Anyone else psyched?

I saw this recently and almost cried. I'm so happy. I quote this show in real life, and still have a bunch of old school merchandise from Hot Topic before it was extremely mainstream and had the creepy logo lol.

Really excited about this. I wonder if they will try to wrap things up in this movie, maybe give the show the conclusion that it never was able to have. Im not really flowing the comic books that started to come out last(?) year, ive only read the first couple of issues, but I wonder if they still plan on continuing that series, now that a movie is being made.

Wow that was a pretty long trailer XD. IT TAKES ME BACK THO OMG. I haven't seen Zim in yeeeears so I don't quite remember how it ended ^^;;. But whatever this new diabolical plan is, I'm glad it involves GIR with a waffle gun!
I wonder if the cutesy TV show they're watching is just kinda part of the bkg or part of the plot?

WOW. How did I never see ths thread over a year ago much less even hear about this reboot!? I never did watch all of Invader Zim but I always enjoyed what I did watch and read a few of Jhonen Vasquez's works.
I'm really glad to see that the animation looks the same as the original series. Now I feel like I need to rewatch it. XD
