| Advanced Character Profile Character Name: Garland Sulzanth Gender: Male Age: 46 (Physical apperance 25) Universe: Pathfinder / D&D Canon or Original: Original Appearance: Garland is a young man of light skin tone, standing approximately 70 inches (5'10") tall - slightly above the average height for human men of his age category. His hair resembles a sandy blonde color that reaches to his shoulders. Though Garland tends to keep his hair unbound at an approximated neck length, he sometimes will accent his appearance with braids. His physical build is unmistakably athletic, slightly favoring raw strength over nimbleness without exactly sacrificing the latter. Garland's eyes resemble a cloudless Qayssan day, possessing boundless depths of blue color and emotion. Garland favors loose-fitting robes and articles of clothing that heavily feature blue or azure colors with gold trim. He likes to remain comfortable wherever he travels, using mild enchantments to adapt to unexpected weather phenomena with a minimum of fuss. He makes an active effort to avoid looking like a dirty bumpkin with no self respect, while simultaneously avoiding the pitfalls of grasping for the attention of others. When presented with advance knowledge of dress customs, Garland will use his considerable resources to blend in as much as possible. Celestial: After his journey to the Iron Dominion, Garland's body changed on a fundamental level. He has grown a pair of white feathered wings which measure a total span of 9 feet (measured from the farthest tips of each wing). His physical strength and toning are even more evident after his transformation. Armor: Whenever Garland cannot fully employ his knowledge of magical abjurations or other warding spells to serve as protection, he will field Spellchain, a suit of finely wrought armor which utilizes silvery mithril plates to protect his neck and torso. The arms, chest, legs, and joints are covered with mithril chain to permit flexibility while retaining some degree of protection. Garland will also often wear a helmet to protect his head and complete the image of a capable knight, though his field of vision can be sorely restricted. Spellchain also restricts the use of Garland's wings, so he must emulate their function through spellcraft to fly. - Journeyman of the Enthroned:
- Guildmaster of the Enthroned:
Personality: Negative traits: Critical, Diffident, Indulgent, Skeptical, Womanizing Positive traits: Benevolent, Clever, Discreet, Driven, Gallant, Generous, Rational, Relaxed, Selfless Primary interests: Adventuring, Ancient Lore, Exploration, Fine Arts, Magic, Martial Arts, Painting, Philanthropy, Women Dislikes: Abuse of People/Power/Authority, Corruption, Desolation, Oppression, (Self) Prominence Overview: Garland is an energetic, warm-hearted individual who has been fascinated with the concept of magic since his earliest years as a young boy in the farmlands of Qayssa. Though he recognized and adored the simplicity of life in the rural countryside, Garland has held an inquenchable thirst for knowledge that could only be sated by further exploration of the world. He has rarely declined the opportunity to explore lost tombs or other potential repositories of magic and lore. A controversial aspect of Garland's panoptic attitude towards magic is his willingness to study occult rites and works that would otherwise be branded as forbidden and heretical. Garland reasons that knowing the function of such dark arts does not necessarily compel a person to use them, and in his case, enables a person to disrupt them more readily. To Garland, willful ignorance will never contribute to an adequate defense. His moral compass has been shaped by varying degrees of tragedy. Twice infected with one of the deadliest diseases ever known to mankind, Garland has a soft heart for anyone who shows signs of suffering or maltreatment by the hands of another. He has often come into possession of small fortunes throughout his adventuring career, only to have his thoughts immediately turn to utilizing said resources in a bid for improving the general quality of life of those closest to him. And while he has idealistic dreams of improving man's lot in Shayllan, they are tempered with cautious realism. That same realism motivates Garland to train his body as much as his mind, ensuring that both aspects of his being remain healthy and able to answer the daily challenges of living. Garland has a low tolerance for actions or phenomena that would lead directly to the suffering of another sentient being, regardless of their own moral standings (or failings). He believes that the worst form of evil is the kind that would actively deny happiness, fulfillment, and/or agency to other people. Despoilers, destructive rabble rousers, and iron-fisted tyrants have much to fear if they ever motivate Garland into moving beyond the role of a soft-spoken detractor. A lesser known fact of Garland is that he has a penchant for admiring members of the opposite sex during his leisure time, if not engaging in discreet intimacies. His recent promotion to guildmaster has largely halted this behavior, but more than a few women have found him to be a generally pleasant and attractive person, if not charming. Garland isn't nearly as pleasant to himself as he is with other people, in part due to the strict upbringing he received from his father Ryszard. He aggressively pushes himself to succeed at every task he undertakes, believing that anything worth doing is worth doing well. This in turn can lead to moments of severe burnout and infrequent periods of withdrawal from society. In these moments of despair, Garland may turn to vices of flask or flesh to help rekindle the flames of his spirit. Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Garland possesses an abundance of physical strength and stamina, exceeded only by an intellect which hungers for greater knowledge of the universe. Though stronger muscles, minds and bodies certainly exist outside of Garland, he has surpassed human limitations within Shayllan. Garland's wings will permit him to fly without the use of magic, but will also easily set him apart from a crowd unless they are concealed. - Weapons/Armor:
Spellchain is a sturdy suit of mithril armor that affords Garland comprehensive protection wthout robbing him of his mobility.
Eldetrius resembles a stone slab that could easily have been plucked out of the foundation of an ancient temple. The artifact is mystically bonded to Garland, enabling him to summon or dismiss it at will. To call upon its destructive power, Garland must hold or otherwise maintain physical contact with the slab. While active, Eldetrius empowers the effect of Garland's destructive spells.
Garland fights with a right-handed stance, commonly bearing a longsword as his chosen weapon. His left arm supports a buckler which is primarily used to fend off blows in close quarter combat.
- Magic:
Garland has vast potential with the ability to research spells, but has no specific focus in any one discipline. To compensate for his lack of specialization, Garland eagerly explores any category of magic to further his overall knowledge. His most familiar spells are listed below.
Antimagic Field: Garland creates a small, invisible field of antimagic extending up to ten feet around himself. This potent ward utterly negates the effect of mystical powers and qualities within its radius, affecting all forms of magic or supernatural energy. Other spells cannot take effect in the antimagic field while it remains active.
However, there are limits to such mortal power. While it cannot be used to end existing magical effects, the antimagic field will suppress them until the two no longer overlap (most often caused by Garland moving away). Also, until Garland dismisses the antimagic field, he cannot effectively use other magic spells.
Dispel: A subtle spell which lacks ostentation, Dispel's function is to cancel ongoing magical effects upon an area or an individual. It does not discriminate against beneficial or malicious magic, but targets every aura and scatters their energy to the winds.
Elvoldor's Effulgent Embers: Upon evoking this spell, one of Garland's hands becomes wreathed in fire. After grasping a handful of dirt or ash from his surrounding environment (or a handy component pouch if necessary) with the burning hand, he hurls the smouldering, sulfurous embers towards his target(s). Each of the tiny embers functions like a bomblet, exploding on contact with an intense burst of light, heat, and force.
Fireball (Delayed Blast): A signature spell of the battle-conscious arcanist, fireball evokes a flashy, searing explosion. As fireball is cast, a pea-sized mote of conspicuous red light is formed at the tips of Garland's fingers before flying forth and blossoming into a lovely flower of flame at its target. Due to its power and efficiency, fireball has the notoriety of being a ubiquitous spell in the repertoires of many magicians - making it very easy to counter if properly identified.
In addition to the original spell, Garland may cast a variation known as delayed blast fireball with two notable differences. First, the glowing red bead may have its detonation delayed by up to 30 seconds. During that time, the bead may be moved or thrown by another creature. Second, a delayed blast fireball is more complex in its execution, and explodes with far greater force. As a consequence of its increased power, delayed blast fireball places a greater strain on its caster's physical and mental stamina.
Gorne's Fulminant Wrath: Tapping into dormant electrostatic energies, Garland channels a singularly massive bolt of lightning to smite his foes. The bolt may either expend its energy directly into a single target, or explode outward from that point into a voltaic energy field which grounds itself out through multiple contacts. Those lucky enough to survive this spell have reported feelings of momentary nausea, confusion, disorientation, or even brief lapses of consciousness.
Grapeshot: An explosive, wedge-shaped blast of intense heat and metallic shrapnel that originates from Garland's outstretched hand. Grapeshot is notable for being able to penetrate armor and bypass most forms of spell interference.
Haste: A potent boon which Garland can apply to himself and nearby allies. Haste subjects its recipients to a brief period of accelerated time, enabling them to act and move faster than before.
Phantom Sword: Garland conjures a narrow, shimmering field of shearing force which closely resembles a sword. He can direct the phantom sword to strike at any opponent that is near his location, requiring little to no effort beyond a simple mental command to assign or change its target. Garland may continue to use physical attacks or cast spells while the sword is active.
The phantom sword has no physical mass, and cannot be destroyed through physical means. However, the sword is mystically bound to Garland and cannot pursue an enemy beyond a short distance. If an enemy retreats beyond this range, then the sword will return to Garland and hover in place.
Stoneskin: Garland can temporarily harden his skin or that of another creature with a touch, granting the ability to endure attacks with little to no physical trauma.
Sunburst: This spell partially recreates the overwhelming brilliance Garland experienced during his bonding with Eldetrius, calling forth a globe of intensely bright light at the intended target. It erupts into a wide burst of searing energy, blinding and burning every creature caught in the explosion. Sunburst will also destroy residual darkness magic in its path, quite literally burning it away into nothingness.
Undead creatures and other lifeforms that are sensitive to ultraviolet light are especially vulnerable to this spell.
Zuoja's Gelid Scorn: This harsh convocation calls forth a cruel, bitterly cold blast of wind through the targeted area, chilling one or more subjects to the bone. The frigid temperatures are certainly powerful enough to freeze water and leech moisture from the air, and is jokingly rumored to be potent enough to cause rain on the sun's surface or to render an active volcano into dormancy.
- Weapon Skills:
Garland will typically fight in a defensive orientation, allowing his opponent to expose themselves before launching counterattacks to disrupt their offense.
Arcane Strike: Garland can briefly imbue his weapon with arcane energy, adding destructive resonance to his next few blows.
- Passive Skills:
Arcane Savant: Garland has received a thorough education in the arts of spellcraft, and is able to identify spells on a fundamental level (range, intended effect, duration, etc.) by investigating residual auras or witnessing them being cast by another individual.
Mastery of Counterspelling: By identifying a spell that is being cast, Garland may interrupt and disperse the magic of another with Dispel instead of requiring exact knowledge of the spell to be disrupted. While this method is not as precise as a true counterspell, it is flexible enough to pose a serious threat to foes who rely heavily upon magical talents.
Longevity: Garland still ages like a mortal being, but at significantly reduced rate. He ages one year in the time it takes for ordinary humans to age 40 years. He is resistant to poisons and toxins, and is no longer subject to the ravages of disease due to a gradual accumulation of antibodies.
Flight: To quickly travel across Shayllan and other environments, Garland has adapted levitation magics to suit his needs.
If Garland is using his celestial wings, his flight will more closely resemble that of a large bird than a smooth, straight line (or arc when considering planetary gravity). Flight magic would only serve to stabilize him in rough weather, or slow his fall in the event of a midair collision or similar disaster.
Eldritch Knight: Garland has extensively trained himself to fight and cast spells in armor, suffering no appreciable penalties when doing so.
History: Garland's story is one of a young man from humble beginnings being pushed to achieve great accomplishments which only grew in scope along with his age. Born to a devout blacksmith and an accomplished enchantress, Garland would spend the first two decades of his life within the newly formed commonwealth of Qayssa. Life there was typically simple and peaceful, though not without danger. When he was only 10 years old, Qayssa was ravaged by the outbreak of a deadly strain of smallpox (colloquially known as 'blisterbone') that left young Garland ill and eventually claimed his mother's life. Ryszard Sulzanth, the boy's father, temporarily suspended his blacksmithing business to take a proactive role in safeguarding his community. Once the pestilence had passed, Garland had neared the age of acceptance into the Asvas Association of Academia (AAA) - a prestigious university which studied both fine arts and the arts of harnessing arcane magic. Though Ryszard had hoped that Garland would have followed his example as a humble blacksmith, Garland's heart was set on the pursuit and mastery of arcane magic. Furthermore, his late wife's last wish was to allow Garland the freedom to follow his own path at the age of maturity. To prepare Garland for the harsh realities of the world beyond Qayssa, Ryszard reinstated his blacksmithing profession with his son as an apprentice. To Garland's own surprise, he would not just learn how to work metal in the heat of a forge; he was also thoroughly instructed in the techniques of bearing arms and armor. With Garland's physical education complete, Ryszard permitted him to enroll into the AAA. He initially would weather some mockery for a late start, but brushed it off and focused on his studies. By his graduation at age 19, Garland graduated at the head of his class with the demonstration of Grapeshot, a spell that he had created based on a simple childhood memory of witnessing a cannon being fired. During the speech, Garland explained that it wasn't his intent to create a weapon for the sake of profit, but to experience the difficulty associated with researching and actively bending magical forces towards a desired outcome. Garland's first recorded act of heroism occurred one year after his graduation. He began investigating a resurgence of the vile blisterbone contagion, which began infecting livestock and packs of scavengers in Qayssa's wilderness. This led him to a conspiracy involving the death-worshipping Brotherhood of the Ul, and eventually culminated in Garland striking down the Ul's chief enforcer who had been acting as a plague carrier. This feat of strength would attract the attention of the Enthroned, an agency devoted to the study of magic and its use for philanthropic ends. Formed of the brightest minds from the Western Kingdoms, the Enthroned and their stated mission of protecting Shayllan from extraplanar threats appealed enough to Garland's sensibilities for him to accept membership into the organization. Over the course of the next five years in his adventuring career, Garland would go on to earn a rather unique reputation. He had a penchant for blending spellcraft and swordsmanship into a cohesive blend, often misleading and surprising his foes as to his true capabilities. However, since Garland's deeds were better known than his actual person, he was free to pursue various romances and other short-lived liaisons. The Enthroned would not have long tolerated such conduct from a less capable or a less discreet magician. However, his life would soon change in ways he could have never expected.. - The Calling:
Garland had barely finished celebrating his 25th summer when he was approached by a mutual friend whom implored him to undertake a daring, dangerous quest outside the boundaries of Shayllan. This mission would see him infiltrate the Iron Dominion, an unfathomably tall nation-fortress which rose up from a molten fissure within the cruel heart of Ixokax. His goal did not involve such unsavory things as assassination or provocation, but a recovery effort aimed at a cache of holy relics belonging to the heavenly realm of Ulesia. Though successful in his efforts, Garland suffered horrific injuries at the hands of forge devils who sought the relics for their own twisted works. He would eventually pass out from the ordeal, but not before witnessing the arrival of a winged, golden-skinned humanoid who quickly routed the remaining fiends.
Days later, Garland awoke in his own quarters inside the Enthroned tower. He had made a full recovery from his ordeal in the Iron Dominion, but his body had changed during his convalescence. It bristled with vitality, strength, and two white feathered wings! It seemed like a curious prank at first, but Garland could not detect any illusions or transformative magics at work. These were wings like that of an angel, and they were quite real. Not understanding why such an indulgent person like himself would be gifted in such a way, Garland hid his wings from his brethren until he could speak with Barak Whitefire, the guildmaster of the Enthroned.
Master Whitefire had kept a close eye on Garland throughout his five years of service, and offered the young man words of comfort when he spoke of his previous vices and unbound, free spirited lifestyle. After all, Whitefire reasoned, Garland never took actions to benefit or gratify himself at the direct expense of another. Whitefire also pointed out that Garland hurled himself into a cruel, heartless place at the behest of a friend without seeking promises of compensation.
Unfortunately, both men received a bitter reminder that their efforts would always keep them in the crosshairs of other malevolent entities. A demonic assassin interrupted their meeting by striking down Master Whitefire before Garland could banish it from Shayllan. To honor his bravery, and perhaps to keep him preoccupied so as to not fall into despair, a council of the Enthroned's senior arcanists and scholars nominated Garland as their new guildmaster.
- The Word of Power:
Garland presided over the Enthroned for the next twenty years of his life, continuing his colleagues' goals of investigating disturbances in the Western Kingdoms. He committed himself to his task, leaving little time in his career for leisurely pursuits beyond the occassional painting commission from wealthy patrons of Asvas. To all outward appearances, Whitefire's successor seemed to be in high spirits as he carried his mentor's legacy close to heart. Internally, Garland's emotions resembled a well-worn patchwork tapestry which was struggling to hold itself together. He could do little but watch the passage of time take its toll on many of his friends and former classmates while barely aging as a result of his celestial metamorphosis. There was also little to be found in the way of romantic comfort; certain old habits were simply no longer possible as the public face of the Enthroned.
Garland was thus a tempting target for Lilith the Blooded Rose, an ambitious succubus matriarch who saw fit to tempt and torment the guildmaster in a bid to corrupt and claim him as her consort. Using foolish mortals as pawns in a greater scheme, Lilith conspired to invade Shayllan and disrupt Garland's dreams of peace with 'kill teams' of depraved Ixian hunters and murderers. Garland tracked down every single ritualist who attempted to open planar gateways to Ixokax, unaware that Lilith's intentions of disrupting his dreams were much more subtle and literal.
For several days, Garland was tormented by dreams of the demoness appealing to him with sweetly lurid promises of courtship. Not a single one of those nights was restful, and each vision seemed to grow with urgency and tangible feeling. Unable to trust his own judgment while pressured by Lilith's charms, Garland reached out to his closest allies for counsel and guidance.
The Enthroned decided they had their fill of such behavior.
Initially fearful that he would have been dismissed, Garland was once again surprised by the council of arcanists that appointed him to office. Revealing that their organization in Qayssa was but one chapter of a greater Ulesian movement, the men and women of the Enthroned explained to Garland that he was no burden. Rather, Garland was viewed by his peers as a living exemplar of their ideals, aspirations, and the personal struggles with morality that follow such commitments.
To answer Lilith's brazen attempt at seduction, it was decided that Garland would be sent to recover a magical weapon of dreadful power from a lost planar fortress which was forgotten by all but the very gods who had ordered it sealed. The archmage navigated the traps and bizarre guardians lying within, as well as the spirits of the people who were condemned alongside the creators of the artifact. Though these same souls would cast suspicion on Garland's intentions and even attack him in some cases, they all repeated a very important message - the word of power was not to be taken lightly.
After freeing the tormented spirits, Garland soon discovered a large stone tablet upon which many runes of ancient origin were written. A cursory examination revealed that the artifact bristled with immeasurable reserves of arcane energy, but there was no outwardly obvious method of accessing such power. After retreating to a safe haven within Ulesia, Garland rested his mind and body for the trials to come.
The tablet proved to be a puzzle wrapped up neatly within an enigma. Garland's first few days with the tablet revealed precious little other than its name: Eldetrius. The runes of Eldetrius constantly etched and erased themselves across the tablet's surface, a process that would have long consumed the granodiorite stone if it had not been reinforced with proper enchantments. He went to sleep that night, happy that his mind was free to ponder arcane theories rather than endure more of Lilith's nocturnal advances. As he slept, he imagined the twisting and dancing runes as a visual metaphor of encapsulating spell energy in its most primal form.
Three days passed, and with them came a minor breakthrough. The runes which were inscribed upon Eldetrius were confirmed to have a relationship to the necessary patterns for channeling raw arcane power, but they were not of the same orientation. This puzzle continued to stump Garland for another three days, lingering wholly within his waking and resting thoughts until he hit upon an epiphany - the runes were always active! They would feed off the very cosmic source of magic and rewrite themselves, but had to have been inscribed in some original form before Eldetrius was energized.
Garland soon determined the true placement of the shifting runes, reading them in an inverse order to tap into the artifact's power. At that moment, the writing on the tablet immediately shifted into its original configuration before glowing with a brilliant blue light. He continued to read the inscription until Eldetrius erupted with an overwhelmingly bright radiance, too bright to shut out with mortal eyelids.
Eldetrius, as noted early in Garland's research, was a word from a foreign tongue that had been dead for ages. It translated to "ruin."
The archmage's body thrashed with the pain of existence, subconsciously threatening to tear itself apart while his sight was consumed with the brilliant radiance of exploding stars. The power of Eldetrius pulsed through Garland, searing its secrets into his mind and soul even while it brought him to the precipice of oblivion. Somewhere within Garland's mind, he could hear himself screaming to look away from the pulsing, inescapable brightness of cosmic death and rebirth.
When Garland next awoke, he found that his eyesight had been destroyed by the forbidden effulgence of Eldetrius. It would take him a month to make a full recovery from his ordeal, but he was still mostly intact. With his mission complete, Garland could soon turn his attention to Lilith and deliver unto her a permanent rejection. Other Noteworthy Facts: Though not part of any organized religion, Garland himself is devoted to the cause of Qaedien. (Further noted in Universe Specific Information) Universe Specific Information: Garland is native to Shayllan, a vibrant planet which is seated in a remote corner of the multiverse. It was one of many shaped by the goddess Mohrah in an effort to create a terrestrial paradise, one which would not be subject to the meddling of other deities. It is a rapidly evolving and changing world, currently in an era of technological development that is roughly analogous to the early Renaissance. - Shayllan is shielded from overt divine influence by the Great Cage, an interwoven quartet of planes that are each linked to one of four primal elemental forces. Though ways of bypassing the Cage were later developed, gods and godly beings alike are unable to fully manifest upon Shayllan. - Mohrah expended an enormous amount of energy to create the Great Cage, sacrificing her divine power over the elements and the ability to unify them into a cohesive force. Mohrah's fate is currently unknown, but other beings have risen to claim stewardship of her elemental domains. - Dragons exist on Shayllan, but have been hunted to the brink of extinction. For approximately 560 years prior to Garland's birth, an "Age of Absence" persisted in which the humanoid races believed that all dragonkin, truebloods and halfbloods alike, had perished. During this period, the remaining dragonkin took great pains to ensure their privacy and survival through a variety of methods. - Qaedien is a personification of the good and holy energies that suffuse the multiverse. Qaedien does not exist in a physical form, and her female persona is a construct of her church. Qaedien does not answer her priests in words, only in impulses and urges. The bulk of her faith centers around the endurance and survival of evil rather than its defeat, ever watchful that other good deities and religions do not go too far to see evil undone, lest they become that which they oppose. Because of her central importance to the entire pantheon of good deities in Shayllan's setting, most any good creature has found correlation with their own goals and those of Qaedien, if not her faith. - The Brotherhood of the Ul serves Yegdrel, a dreadful and malicious god of undeath. The earliest myths of creation state that Yegdrel was eventually murdered by one of his own brethren, but soon arose from his own corpse through dark and occult methods only known to him. His priesthood continues to plague Shayllan to this day, countering the verdant abundance of life with their foul perversion of the laws of entropy and decay. - Heaven and Hell in Shayllan are known respectively as Ulesia and Ixokax. A third realm, Belgesta, lies between Ulesia and Ixokax as a functional buffer that resists the polarizing influence of both dimensions. Storyline Specific Information: (Dissidia) Garland wakes up in an unfamiliar world, having last drifted off to sleep after the restoration of his eyesight. Unbeknownst to him, Garland was summoned to this strange new place by the goddess of harmony, Cosmos. Though he is separated from most of his possessions and from Shayllan's ley lines, Garland does not stand alone. RP Sample:I must be crazy to do this for you..Every time Garland thought of Ethelle, he was reminded of the warrior woman's magnificent physical power. She was a friend and associate of the arcanist, who had responded to his subtle flirtations by subtly challenging (and defeating) him in contests of strength. Though she wasn't above teasing Garland, she was a good sport about it and appeared to genuinely enjoy his company (in a platonic sense). There was no such woman here, nor pollen nor gentle warm breezes to comfort Garland. He stood atop an infernal stone shelf in the slag pits of the Iron Dominion, where an exposed subduction zone offered rich deposits of minerals to resourceful or daring miners - provided their lungs didn't boil from inhaling the blistering air. Garland couldn't help but smile to himself as he surveyed the colossal adamantium auger that ground deeply into the fault line as if it were an oversized screw. Rather than obsess over the dangers that he faced in this industrial hellhole, the trespassing mage chose to imagine what forms of dark humor his late friend Argyle would have conjured in the same situation. Oh, of course! The punchline of this story was the knowledge that Garland had to get inside of this dreadful place to find the missing Ulesian relics.

| This is a really nice, in depth profile! I have a couple request to change some minor stuff before I approve it. For the Universe section, can you label it as DnD/Pathfinder just so everyone knows what universal rules system you're using for Garland?
And for the personality section, most of it looks good, except polyamorous isn't really a negative trait. It just means someone who wants consensual relationships with multiple people. You may have been thinking of the word womanizing, since that seems to fit your character more.
Thanks in advance! |

| I'd like to add the following to Garland's profile. - Personality (edit):
A lesser known fact of Garland is that he has a penchant for admiring members of the opposite sex during his leisure time, if not engaging in discreet intimacies. His recent promotion to guildmaster has largely halted this behavior, but more than a few women have found him to be a generally pleasant and attractive person, if not charming.
