Dissidia Multiverse- Zabuza is summoned by the God of Discord to fight on the side of Chaos in an alternate dimension alongside other various characters. This takes place after he bacame a rogue and before his canon death in the Naruto series.


Additional Information: 
Zabuza, the "Demon of the Hidden Mist", was born in the Hidden Mist Village, located in the cluster of islands known as the Land of Water. Under the lead of the 4th Mizukage, Yagura, the village gained the title of the Bloody Mist, due to its massacres of clans with certain Kekkai Genkai, causing many to flee for a time. Another practice they had was its infamous ninja graduation test, where classmates who trained together were forced to kill one another to pass. This exercise ended when Zabuza, not even enrolled at the time, killed over 100 students during the test. He became a ninja at age 9, and his reputation expanded until he was an elite Jonin, and a member of the infamous Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. 

During his time in the Mist village, he found the survivor of one of the clan massacres, a child named Haku. His mother had fled the initial slaughter, but after years of living in peace, his father realized the power his wife had, and killed her. Haku had killed his own father in self defense after, using his innate ability to create and use ice. Seeing his potential, Zabuza took him in and raised him as a student and his personal weapon.

After making a failed attempt on Yagura's life in a coup for control of the Hidden Mist village, Zabuza, his now dangerous partner Haku, and a small group of lower ranked followers fled and were branded as rogue ninja. They're now a gang of roving mercenaries, taking all the work they can find, dirty or not, to fund their next attack on their previous home.

During a contract with Gato, a corrupt businessman, Zabuza comes in contact with ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village. They're protecting the man he has to kill, a simple bridge builder who could end Gato's economic hold on the Land of Waves region. After multiple days of on and off combat, Haku is killed defending him against Kakashi Hatake, and Gato reveals his plan to betray him after he killed the bridge builder. Zabuza calls a truce with the Leaf Village ninja and sacrifices his life to kill Gato instead, both for his own pride and as revenge for his disrespect to Haku's body. He dies beside his partner, wishing he could go to the same place as Haku did and proving that he was more than just a tool to him.

Abilities:

Hidden Mist Technique- A jutsu that summons a shroud of mist to cover the battlefield, making visibility low and deadening sounds. This allows Zabuza to noiselessly move and attack with his practiced Silent Killing Technique.

Water Style: Water Dragon Projectile- Zabuza creates a large dragon out of a water source that chases and collides with his opponent with a focused stream of liquid.

Water Style: Grand Waterfall Technique- This creates a massive tide of water that crashes over opponents like a waterfall, flooding the area afterwards and carving groves in the ground with its force.

Water Style: Water Clone Technique- Zabuza creates a clone of himself out of water, and when destroyed, it will simply reform. It disappears if he is damaged and distracted.

Water Style: Water Prison Technique- Zabuza can trap an opponent in a solid bubble of water, keeping them immobile as long as he keeps one hand on it at all times. It will eventually suffocate whoever is trapped.

Weapons: 
Kubikiribōchō (The Executioner's Blade)- A massive, flat blade with a detachable handle, and a hole near the top and a half hole near the bottom. It's both heavy an durable, and if it breaks, can be reformed by the iron in the blood it draws from enemies.

Another job done. Zabuza sat high in a tree, back leaning against the trunk behind him as he counted the stack of bills they'd been paid with. It had been a easy task, albeit a legally grey one. Only mercenaries were willing to take on high level assassinations like this, which allowed him to charge all sorts of big numbers for his "team's" services. An entire 500 thousand Ryo just to make a trouble-making Lord disappear.

It was almost sad how easy it had been to lure the rich man out of his well guarded estate. He'd sent Haku out, disguised as a civilian, and got their target to follow him out into a secluded forest area. After that, Zabuza smothered him in fog and ended him with a single swing of his sword before he knew he'd even been fooled. 

He found the lack of challenge boring, but now they were one step closer to having the funds to carry out their real plans. Zabuza tucked the money away and stood, balancing on the tree branch without much thought after years of practice.

"Haku, let's go." His partner was at the base of the tree, his porcelain mask off as he tended to the small creature in a wire cage. Zabuza had no idea what possessed that boy to carry a rabbit around for a pet, but Haku was as deadly as ever when his talents were called for, so he had no complaints. After another moment, Haku stood and replaced his mask.

"Of course, Master Zabuza." They disappeared in an instant, with only the curious smell of sea spray marking where they had been.
