Character Appearance: Aiko is native Japanese and has straight, waist-length blonde hair and piercing dark brown eyes. She has a model-quality body, being straight and slender and wearing designer clothes. She wears expensive emerald earrings shaped like leaves.
Personality: Aiko is strict with herself and her friends about how they appear and behave in public. She will never be seen with "unwanted" people (basically anyone she doesn't like or get along with), except when tormenting them for fun (lately primarily Tomoe Hotaru). She prefers socializing to things like reading or art, although she has been taught Chinese, Dutch, and calligraphy from a very young age (although she feels she is poor at caligraphy). She gets very good grades and is known throughout the school as a high academic achiever. However her academics are not without a price as she frequently feels anxiety and sometimes exhaustion caused by pressure from both herself and her mother. She is extremely loyal and noble to her friends and expects the same in return.

Additional: Aiko's parents are divorced-- her mother is a model and holds Aiko herself to strict rules about her appearance and public reputation, and her father lives and works far away and never sees them. Aiko herself is expected to be a model just like her mother. She is currently taking English lessons, which she excells at, and plays violin, her skills at which waver.

Aiko rosined her bow, this time taking care to remember to add extra to the frog end as she was prone to forgetting. Her mother had spoken sharply to her about it before, and about touching the hair with her fingers, and countless other details about caring for her instrument. She put the rosin away and closed her eyes, focusing on her breathing, then she opened her eyes, lowered the bow to the strings, and began playing, reciting the lyrics to the song in her mind.

When we've said goodbye...

She held down a wince as the bow scratched across at the beginning. It was a few moments before she could control it enough to play more smoothly. When she felt a little more steady, a little more sure of herself, she parted her lips to softly sing along.

"When you find that once again you long
To take your heart back and be free
If you ever find a moment
Spare a thought for me..."

Her teeth clenched as she focused every ounce of her being in playing the next portion, but she felt it falter on several notes. The sound of it was so big, it threatened to devour her.

Aiko never heard the soft footsteps approaching from behind, never felt the intake of breath, never knew it had ceased in deference to her music until she took a moment to pause and lower her violin. When she looked up she was startled at first, then gave a side-eyed glare at the girl with fluffy pink hair staring back at her.

"Wow, that's really amazing!" Chibi-Usa breathed with a smile.

Aiko wanted to snap at her that of course it was, she was a talented violin player, but the words wouldn't rise to her mouth. Instead, she brushed her bangs from her eyes, cleared her throat pointedly, and returned her attention to the violin.

"You know, my friend Hotaru plays violin. I'll bet--"

"Yes, I know she does!" Aiko whipped her head around and gave an even fiercer glare head-on. That was the last person she needed to think about right now of all times, that stuck-up precious snowflake who thought she was better than everyone. Such minor celebrity status to be earned for being the daughter of another, well-known violinist in the area. "Now, if you don't mind, I need to practice, and you're disturbing my concentration." She once again turned to her violin in an exaggerated motion and lifted her bow.

Chibi-Usa frowned and backed away slowly. "Sorry," she said in a low voice before turning to leave.
