Plot Summary: In her first appearance, Sailor Venus introduced herself as the princess. What she did not foresee was her ability to play the role too well and how this decoy plan could end up backfiring in a fatal manner. Even though she intended to be the person the enemies focused on, she did not realize that she would also cause the other senshi to put her safety above everyone else's, including that of the real princess, Usagi. When facing a battle against Kunzite, who was trying to kill the princess, both Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus got attacked. Sailor Jupiter, along with Mars and Mercury, went to save Venus' life, leaving Sailor Moon to fend for herself. She did not succeed. The attack was fatal, and she died.

Now Venus must deal with the consequences of her lie; figuring out how to save the world without the true princess and the Silver Crystal, as well as facing her fellow guardian senshi. Realizing that telling them the truth will only crush everyone's spirit and cause resentment, with immense guilt Venus is forced to carry on the charade, now really stepping into the shoes of someone else that she knows she can never, ever truly fulfill.

Details on any necessary information: Takes place during the Dark Kingdom arc in an alternate universe.

Restrictions: Canon only; Inner senshi, Mamoru/Tuxedo Mask and cats are playable.

Some ideas I want to play with this if someone claims Mamoru is, with Usagi's death, his love toward the "Princess" will become misdirected to Minako because he thinks she's the real princess. We can also include other ideas that will make the situation funnier/more complicated because Minako totally needs more problems

Fire: Are you okay with the idea of Mamoru's misdirected feelings? It was just something I thought of and we don't have to go that way if you don't care for it. I was thinking if we do go with it, we'd have to kind of modify the background so Mamoru and Usagi didn't already have this established bond between them before this point.

Yup, it sounds like fun! But more in the "I am supposed to love this girl so I guess I... love her?" sort of way, rather than him actually falling for Venus. And I dunno, I think a few modifications would be necessary but not many - personally I like the idea that he was initially attracted to Usagi in a very unexplainable visceral way, and then when he finds out he's supposed to be feeling attracted to Venus there's nothing there (but he's forcing himself to go along with it).

Heh, that works for me It'll add to the guilt that he fell in love with Serenity in his past life (and got everyone killed for it) and now that they're reincarnated, instead of giving it a second chance, he fell for someone else instead. Who's now dead. So lots of confusion there, and things will be awkward when he talks to Venus to try and address this.

Everyone feels guilty and confused yaaay.

so I hope it was okay I mentioned Boss from the Sailor V manga. For those who haven't read Boss gave Artemis and Minako orders to take out the Dark Agency. It never shows who Boss is, but I have little headcanon that Boss is Queen Serenity.

Before I post, I have a question - were the girls at the top of the tower, or are they at the bottom? I remember Usagi falling off of the top, but in some posts it seems like the girls are now at the bottom. It's a minor thing, but I'm picky and would like to know to clear up my confusion xD

I thought she fell to the bottom.

The confusion was probably because of my Tuxedo Kamen being very very confused about his location on that tower... I changed around a couple of words and now it's clear Usagi fell down
