Since Miss Dream is right now the only active group working on the Sera Myu musicals, and since we're about to begin translating all of PGSM over again from scratch, I thought it'd be cool to have a little thread here where I can update with our status and share links to download new material with everybody here.

Plus, it'd be great to get some feedback from everybody regarding the musicals we translate / just talk about the musicals in general as we add them, so let's begin!

Oh, I'm excited about a redo of PGSM. The original one I have is good. I think I have a joke translated one. Its actually pretty hilarious.

Oh yeah, I remember those. There's also this site called Sailor Moon Hell where they make parody episodes of PGSM, pretty hilarious stuff. ^___^

Yeah, bad me, didn't know any better, but I bought some DVDs off of ebay (I was thinking they were legit PGSM dvds for some reason) and they were actually just burns of some translations on DVDs. This was years ago, but oh well. The first episode or two has some really hilarious translations and it keeps some of the commercials in and the translations for those are even better. haha. I'll have to check out that website, i don't think i've heard of it.

My university forces all users to download an anti-torrenting program/tracker before providing internet access. I can get fined $1000 if I torrent. Is a megaupload or sendspace link possible?

I downloaded the first episode of PGSM. I have to say that I mainly get a kick out of the hammy acting and less than stellar CG. I'm otherwise ambivalent.

Nevertheless, thank you for providing translations once again!

I love PGSM *because* it's so darned cheesy, haha. You know, the first time I watched it I never noticed that Usagi's hair is GC during transformation, which kills me now because it's so ~obvious~, ya know? It's a riot

Oh, Reiko, you are SO like me!! I've been using Apple for four years and there's no going back!! I adore mine so much more than I should love a computer

Back on topic: I'm happy MD is subbing PGSM! Such a great series! It takes a little getting used to, but it really grows on you!

I've been there done that with a Mac. I was a animation/film student too. There is just as powerful software for PC. Never again. I hate it. I loved it for a while, then the POS $2000 laptop battery burnt out on me and the power cable pooped out too. I could have wasted my money on better things. I've had crappy dell laptops last longer than that Apple thing did.

But that's getting off topic. If you feel like defending an overrated company that makes overheating laptops that don't last, feel free to do so. Not really going to change my mind.

I just watched the pilot. Really diggin' the high quality. All the eps I've seen have been ripped from the broadcast so they have the numbers at the top left corner.

You guys know me, I'm a huge PGSM fan who acknowledges the flaws and strongpoints of the show. I've spent a lot of time harping on the show because of the less-than-spectacular film quality but I realized I didn't give it enough credit.

And Brit,

-Macs have higher processing and more memory
-Batteries last longer
-Newer ones don't overheat (I never turn mine off and have had no problems. Am I right in assuming you had an older model?)
-There's comparable film editing software but music studios almost always use Macs
-MacBook Pros employ a unibody design, adding to the longevity. Oh and they're super light
-Macs have a built-in accelerometer. When you drop a Mac, in the millisecond it takes to fall, the accelerometer picks up the action and sends a lock-down command to the hard drive. You can drop a Mac and still have it in perfect condition. I've dropped mine on several occasions
-Pro-environment components
-Lastly, I respect Apple for allowing Mac users to run Windows via Bootcamp

Good point. I didn't get to finish watching, but I noticed the enhanced quality of these releases.

I'm glad you guys are all liking it so far! <3 I'm really happy to be able to work from DVD source instead of transport stream, it makes a huge difference.
