I'm looking for help with setting up 3 IRC channels.. if any one is knowledgeable in this please please please M me about it!

Do you want to integrate it on the forum like the chatbox? Because I poked around in the mods stuff just to see how its set up and I don't think its made for using mods that aren't already listed by forumotion. But I'll look into it.

IRC stands for "Internet Relay Chat" - Aka it's a chat room

How is it different from the chat box?

It's Off site, it should make noise, and I'm having some made that will be password protected.

A good site for that is Chatango if that makes it an easier. A lot of people use it, and it isn't too hard to figure out.

I just wanted to bump this because I think we should totally have an IRC channel c: I'm just worried no one would use it like the chatbox :c It would probably work if it got promoted more though, like with its own pinned section of the forums or something.

I've used chatango myself and I can verify that it's good, but not as customizable as IRC. It has the ability to change font colors and whatnot, and simple moderation options like banning users and deleting messages.

We actually have some, I just haven't had the time to get them up and running
