Hey.  So I'm really, really bad at introductions, but I'll give it a shot...

My name is Stephanie, but everyone calls me CeCe (long story involving my baby brother not being able to say sissy; the nickname stuck with me for the last 25 years).  According to the sailormoon age tracker I found at moonsisters.org, I am one year and 2 days older than Minako.  That puts her at just a couple months over 35, if you go by real life.  I prefer not to, but then that's just me...  That makes me 36.  Yep.  I'm an old lady.     I live in the midwest of America, and was subjected to the DiC version of Sailor Moon, many many moons ago.  I instantly fell in love with the show and watched everything as faithfully as I could.  Sadly, I haven't been able to watch everything, but I'm hopeful that I'll be able to somehow soon...


Fast Forward to today and I'm a single mom.  I work full time and go to college part time.  My son is now 12 years old.  And yes, this is the honest truth: his name is Darien.  I did get the idea from the show.  I finally noticed that Itunes is carrying the show, and I instantly purchased the first and second "seasons".  And I simply love the VizMedia dubs so much better.  They keep it closer to the real versions of the show, and don't edit things out.  I'm hoping they release Sailor Moon S soon, as well as the movies.  I haven't heard if they were or not.  Anyway...  I recently purchased the english versions of the manga and am on the second Sailor V one.  Loving it!   


Ok, so I ramble.  I'm sorry...


I don't have a favorite senshi, though I suppose I am partial to Pluto, simply because of the Time and Space thing.  I am a HUGE WHOVIAN.  (I totally love all the crossover stories I've found between the Doctor and Sailor Pluto!)
I work in the media (radio) as a programmer and voice of bit parts in commercials and liners.  I'm finally going to college, to get a degree in English.  I'm hoping some day to go into editing and publishing.  
I'm a gamer at heart, and I play World of Warcraft (For the Alliance!) and a myriad of other games.  I also enjoy watching gamers on youtube (Vanossgaming is amazing, as is Markiplier.  They make me laugh.).
I don't have a social life since all I do is work, school, take care of my kid, and game.  I guess my gaming is my social life.


I stumbled upon this forum when I was procrastinating from writing an essay.     And honestly, I'm supposed to be revising that essay right now.  Yay finals week!  So to you other students out there, good luck with your own finals!

Hello and welcome from another "old lady"! I'm 38, so you're not alone. Great to meet you. I've always meant to get into Dr. Who because I love sciencey space time and time travel stuff but I've only maybe seen one episode so far, and I'm not even sure which Doctor it was.

I'm totally procrastinating from finishing my housecleaning so I sympathize. I was an English major in school and I love writing but work and taking care of an elderly relative don't allow me to do so as often as I'd like.

So who's your favorite villain in the series so far?

Hey!  Another Whovian!  I'm not exactly Whovian but I like to watch Dr. Who.  Blame my friends who talk incessantly about it.  If you like Dr. Who, then you'll LOVE Sherlock!   It's also written by Steven Moffat(the one who wrote Dr. Who!).

PoetOfMercury, I think I'll stick with the classic Queen Beryl as my favorite villain. Tho the whole Tree thing in Sailor Moon R with the cardians is right up there. (Can't think of their names at the top of my head!)

Also, while we're at it, did you already get the chance to watch/read any of the other Sailor Moon adaptions? Like the manga, the live-action series or the myus? Or maybe also the new anime? I'm sorry for harassing you with questions xD

Oh, and are there any other anime you like? Other than Sailor Moon? Or to be more general: Are there any other TV series you like, other than Sailor Moon and Doctor Who? i heard good things of Doctor Who - but it isn't broadcasted on German TV @.@
