Childhood influence: Grew up an orphan at the temple, wanted to be a "good kid" so she rarely misbehaved and offered to do more work than was required of her.  Even though there were other children at the temple, because of the cursed rumor following her around, she was often alone, an outcast.  She did however make a few good friends that she trusts very well.  Because of this she doesn't trust new people easily and though she feigns manners, she is skeptical of the intent of people, assuming that everyone is after something.  As a kid without a parents, Daeka became independent, relying on others only when she absolutely had too.  As she grew older, younger kids would join the temple as orphans and Daeka enjoyed looking after them the same way she had been taken care of by her favorite priestess.   She became responsible and dependable, both traits needed for caring for children.  Even though there were many people who were afraid of her presence, she still has a compassionate heart for those in need. The temple teaches the children to be unattached to material possessions, this has allowed Daeka to be more willing to give to give to others although this trait of hers also had ties to her desire to please others.
 
Negative: Daeka likes to hide behind a polite smile, growing up around those who did not trust her, she became untrusting of others.  However because she doesn't like to deal with conflict, she finds it easier to feign respect and manners to quickly escape situations or conversations.  Though she really does have a generally content attitude, she likes to keep her deeper emotions to herself, only displaying emotions superficially when socially required.  This has caused some to describe her as being unemotional.  Since she is a people pleaser, she can sometimes feel bitter towards those she feels she can't express herself too.  Daeka can also be superficial with her relationships with other, she keeps them shallow, never allowing others to know her too well.  She finds it easiest to go with with the flow, and if any decisions are left up to her, she finds that she has a hard to deciding what to do.  So instead she seeks counsel from others and eventually decides based on their answers.
 
After becoming Litae: Before discovering that she was a senshi, Daeka would run/hide/escape from situations or people she didn't like or want to deal with.  However after she began using her powers for the good of others, she began to develop determination, a desire to see the problem through the end, even though it may be unpleasant.  More and more she began to enjoy doing her best to help others, giving of herself for strangers she didn't know.  At one point she realized that being Litae meant that she had influence over her people and began to learn about responsibility as a public figure. 
 
Dreams/goals/ambitions: She hopes to one day really understand her planet's gods/goddesses, to reunite her people as there is a civil war going on, to protect those few close to her
Likes: Daeka enjoys scholarly activities like reading, learning, and has a thirst for knowledge.
Dislike: She doesn’t like authority and hides behind manners instead of causing conflict.

Planet (Litae): Greek/Roman culture aesthetically and in terms of tech religion: polytheism, prayer and tithing, VERY BIG PART OF DAILY LIFE, temples take in orphans to be servants and provide shelter, superstitious, united under one kingdom at one point, however there is a civil war going on, thought the temple is separate from the government, most of it is in the Southern half of the land, where Daeka's story takes place.

Parents: Parents died along with all other villagers in a town struck by the plague, Daeka, who was 5 years old, was the only one to live causing others to view her as cursed, she still hasn't told anyone what happened in that village.

Childhood: local temples didn't want her so the capital temple took her in, treated with distance, not outright mean but definitely avoided, however because of her pleasant demeanor she was able to make a few close friends who just saw her as a person.  There was a kidnapping when she was 8, the perps thought she could really destroy a whole town and tried to torture her into doing in, another orphan (older, female, warrior like) who was her friend rescued her. Daeka has scars on her back from this experience.  She experiences some suffering and even physical danger, many of the temple workers realize that she's just a normal kid although many still see her as a plague.  She works in the temple and takes an interest in their religion in a scholarly form, reading books of all kinds about their history, the gods and goddesses, the mesites (greek for arbitrator).  The gods and goddesses became very personified in her mind and she would even imagine interactions between them when reading stories about them. 

When she was 15, Daeka joined the ceremony that took place every year, looking for the new mesites, who had passed 25 years before.  The ceremony, everyone who had turned fifteen before the date (November 1st) but wasn't 16 participated.  It happens in every major town with the participants from smaller outlying areas traveling in to be part.  Festival with food and games ending with the participants being tested by touching an azurite stone that is found at every temple.  When the mesites touches the azurite, it glows, releases a wave of energy, and the individual's appearance changes.

Daeka only participated because it was required but when she went forward to touch the azurite, she found it glowing beneath her hand and she felt-different.  Looking down she found herself in the same well known style that the previous Litae were.  She held this appearance for several moments before it faded back to the clothes she had been wearing before.  For a moment everyone was in shock that it had reacted to her, then uneasiness, there was still a trace of the cursed rumor around her.  Daeka herself could not believe the situation, she was sure there was some mistake, however a small voice whispered "cursed, don't make me laugh".  Sure that she was just hearing things she ignored it and obediently followed the head priest into another room while the testing resumed and the other kids were tested against the azurite.  Daeka sat quietly on the cushions, wondering what her fate would be.  

She waited in there until the ceremony was over, the azurite had reacted to no one else.  After the alter room had been emptied out the head priests and priestess consulted quietly.  Finally the head priest brought her back to the stone and motioned for her to touch it again.  Daeka obeyed and again the azurite glowed and her appearance changed, the whisper she had heard before was louder now and mumbling about something, she couldn't tell.  The voice continued to grow louder until POP floating in front of her was Arete (spirit of virtue, excellence, goodness, and valour).  Her voice was now loud and clear as the goddess looked at the surrounding holy people who had all fallen on the ground, "You doubt and deliberate but it will not change our decision, she is the next Litae." Then she smirked at them before turning her attention on the girl still standing before her, "Child this gift can be called both a curse and a blessing, you decide which it shall be."  Arete smiled kindly at Daeka before she snapped her fingers and was gone.  

Daeka's appearance once again had reverted back.  She stood quiet for a moment before turning to the head priest, "Well it looks like there wasn't a mistake," she said with a laugh, half hoping to diffuse some of the tension.  Those who knew her, laughed back in response, but others continued to look unsure.

Training: All the previous Litae had written their lives in journals and Daeka's first task was to read these journals to better understand her new position.  The journals explained many things to Daeka, what she was as Sailor Litae, that the planet's will was part of her soul, that there were others like her out in the universe, planetary travel, what her powers were though the varied from each reincarnation, and many other concepts.  Once Daeka had a good grasp on her who and what she was, she began practicing transforming.  Every day, after her readings, she would practice transforming until after a few weeks she could do it without a second thought (she could only transform to her white version). She also had begun to learn a multitude of fighting styles.  Arete appeared from time to time, offering advice or answering questions, of which Daeka had many.  However after Arete's first appearance, no one else but Daeka could see her and they communicated telepathically.

Trials: After a year, it became apparent to Daeka that she needed to go on her first trial.  The mesites must go through trials, alone, designed by the god/goddess to acquire their powers.  Daeka consulted the journals and found that the first one should be Gaea (earth).  They listed her location as a deep cave but the trials varied by generation.  Taking her journal, Daeka set out on her first trial and after an uneventful journey found the cave.  She entered the cave and after a few hours journey inward she found herself in Gaea's presence.  She found the spirit very motherly as she guided her through the trial.  After a few days, Daeka emerged with her first spirit equip.

Spirit Equip: Daeka forms a connection with the spirit who then lends her their power when she prays/calls to them. Gaea, earth, female; Aura, air, female; Cacus, fire, male; Hydros, water, female
 

Trial 2 (air), Trial 3 (fire) over the next four years, just acquired fire before visit to earth.  As with the first trial, Daeka went on a journey searching for Aura and Cacus.  Aura she found at the top of a mountain where the wind was strongest and there she successfully completed her trial and gained Aura's wind abilities.  She found Cacus near an active volcano and successfully completed his trial for his fire abilities.  She found Aura to be content and fluid, going with the flow of nature.  Cacus was full of energy and optimistic.

unconnected with any spirit, her color scheme is all white, she wears a two piece chiton, the material is linen, her top is tied on both shoulders and hangs to just above her naval.  The bottom half is white and has two layers, the top layer extends to mid thigh, the bottom layer extends to her ankles on her left side.  She has a shawl that hangs off her right shoulder and is knee length.

 

Her color scheme is brown with green accents, two piece chiton (linen), her top is one shouldered and asymmetrical, one side ends above the naval, the other side ends below the waist.  The bottom piece is skirt like, also slightly asymmetrical with one side lower thigh and one higher thigh. 

 

Two piece chiton, color scheme is yellow with light blue accents, top piece is very short, ending just under her chest. Bottom piece has two layers, the top is yellow, ruffles down the center, and just below the knee. The second layer is light blue, has a slit down the center and is ankle length. She has a small shawl that wraps around her shoulder and rests on one arm. 

 

Color scheme is red with pale red accents.  Top piece is a pale red tube top that ends above her naval with a small shawl that wraps around one shoulder and is tied on the other.  Bottom piece has two layers, the top is pale red and ends just below the hips, the bottom is red and asymmetrical, one side is knee length, the other is ankle length.

Color scheme is true blue with a sea foam green.  Top is a very short chiton that ends just below the chest.  Bottom piece comes up to just an inch of the top and is a wrapped skirt that is ankle length.  She has a shawl hanging over her shoulder that is also ankle length.
