Neko Atsume (Kitty Collector) is an iPhone game where basically you set out treats and such for cats, and when you don't have the app open, they come by, and you can see them when you open it up! A simple concept sure, but it's pretty much the cutest game I've ever played, (when I heard  of it, I said like Tomodachi Life with cats). It's got quite the following on Tumblr too surprisingly enough. 

Anyone else exeperinced this game?

It is hands down one of the cutest games I've ever played. I had such a good time playing it, but unfortunately I don't anymore because I got a new phone a while after first started and I was unable to transfer my data and didn't want to start over. 

Aww, that's too bad. Yeah, this game would be a pain to start over. I actually got my brother to download it and hopefully he will soon join the Neko Atsume side, where there is no plot to talk about, only cats.

I've been playing this for ages, but I wish they would update more often. I've obtained everything except a couple mementos left now.

I kinda sorta forgot this game existed, though I have quite a few items unlocked. It's cute and all, and I need merch of these cats in my life but for an idle game it just doesn't keep my attention. Like I'll play it for like a week then go without it for months, and now that I've been reminded that this game exists due to this thread I'll probably pick it up again for a week, only to put it down.

still need the merch though. I'd love to give my cat the cat toys they made based on the ones in the game.
