Character Image: Chares is 6 feet and 3 inches tall, with dark brown, curled hair that he cut close to his head. It only sticks out near the front, giving him bangs. His eyes are hazel, and his skin is tanned from working outside. His usual clothing is a light tunic with short sleeves, longer pants, and a pair of thick boots with a cloak, but his outfit tends to change based on where he's travelling next.

Storyline Specific Information: 

Silver Discordia-Before the great Silver Millennium Era came into being, Queen Serenity was just Serenity, a refugee from far away who carried a shining silver power within her. She settled on the Moon and established a home for herself, but the Solar System around her was less than welcoming to her idea of a unified group. At first, she was completely ignored. The inner planets were in political and social disarray with each other, barely managing to keep from an all out war.

Mercury is strict and organized to the last letter, focused on it's own booming technology behind solid metal doors underneath their planet's icy exterior. Venus is a fallen paradise, a crime ridden, war torn desert with the occasional oasis for the rich and powerful to shelter in. Mars is a closed off, disciplined planet ruled by military lords and advised by their spiritual monks and priestesses. And Jupiter is a raging empire bent on constant expansion through intimidation and force. Earth is still too primitive to even realize that life existed beyond its own atmosphere. The Outer planets are considered almost mythical, so far out and silent that they don't seem to exist.

But beyond the interplanetary tensions, there is communication and trade. The average citizens go about their business as well as they can, oblivious to the changes that are about to occur. The Solar System has been and will always be in a chaotic state. Until now...

Additional Information: Chares was born in a small, woodland settlement on Jupiter, and lived with his parents and 3 year older sister. He grew up assisting with the family's farm plot, and went to a local school with only about 100 students attending. Beyond the things he was taught about in books, his only contact with larger civilization and other planets were travelling merchants and traders who bothered to venture that far into Jupiter's thick forests.

The Empress's war efforts were weaker then, and the volunteer army was enough to sustain her. But as Chares grew older, they became more aggressive. Drafts ensued, first for every person who had no current job, and then to at least one able bodied adult from each established family home. Chares' sister accepted the draft and went with the soldiers when they arrived at their town, knowing that her parents were still needed to raise him and support their farm. 3 years later, the soldiers brought them back an elaborate wooden coffin with a message from the Royal Empire, stating their condolences for the death of one Captain Katsaros, killed in a skirmish between Jovian and Martian forces.

Chares was devastated, and while his parents tried to cover their grief and rage, he could still tell they were hurt. Before that moment, he was rather neutral to his planet's cause, but now he was adamantly against it. What did he care about getting more land to settle on? he had no intentions of dying for such a ridiculous purpose. His sister was still a hero, but she shouldn't have had to be one. Before the soldiers came to collect draftees again, he spoke with his parents about leaving entirely. 

A week later, he was heading towards a larger city with supplies on his back, intent on departing Jupiter until their war was over. He would not deny his mother and father their only other child, and the thought of him being in that wooden coffin next was terrifying. With some luck, he avoided any questioning, and caught a transport vessel on the way to Mars, where he took his meager experience driving ships and got a job moving goods back and forth between planets. He's been acting as a ship pilot for the last year, mostly jumping between Venus, Mars, and Mercury.
 
RP Sample: 

"Can they fill this tank up any faster...?" Chares sat in the cockpit of his mid-sized transport ship, labelled with his company's logo on the trailer. His fingers tapped on the steering wheel as he waited for the station attendants to finish fueling him up and checking his engines. It wasn't the wait that was irritating him. He had eaten and slept well before taking on this particular job. No, it was the stupid weather on Venus that was driving him to want to punch his own window out in frustration.

Venus was notoriously warm, even more so if you weren't at an oasis, and his transporter stop was a distance away from one. His ship had cooling systems, but they only worked if his engine was on. Which it wasn't for obvious reasons.

This lead to a very upset, overheated Chares grumbling to himself as he waited for the all clear signal. He must have looked just as terrible as he felt, because the blonde attendant that passed his cockpit caught him sulking, and quickly turned back around with a barely audible squeak of fear. Chares rolled his eyes and sat back in his seat, actually looking forward to his next scheduled drop off on Mercury. He'd rather be frozen than cooked to death....

oh my god i'm so interested in this rp - i saw it pop up on recent topics and was like 'oh i need to check this out sometime' but now i seriously need to check this out. 
I love his motivation for leaving, I love that you've made him afraid and determined, I love the personality that shines in your rp sample, and I'm looking forward to reading him!
