Appearance: Kero is easily spotted in a crowd when you know what you're looking for. His temporary form and the one in which he mostly is can be described as a plush sized weird yellow teddy bear with wings. Most of the people who would see him would probably find him cute (I am utterly adorable thank you), but despite having the appearance of a child's toy, he isn't one. The wings on his back allows him to fly and the reason why he stays mostly in this form is because it is the smallest and most useful he has. It's also a question of comfort as he can then sits on almost everything, from the bed to the desk. His small paws also allow him more motions than his original form. He has a tail that ends up in a fluffy puff of white fur.

His original form is more majestic, but also way bigger than his temporary form. Being slightly bigger than a grown up male tiger, he resembles said tiger by its form, but nothing else really. His fur stays the strange orange he had in his temporary form, however, most of his face, ears and stomach are totally white. Not unlike Yue, he has a long earring on his left ear with a red gem embedded in it. He also wears a helmet and an armor made of bronze with red gems again. His wings are big enough to carry his weight.

Personality: Kero is expressive to say the least. He is shown to be more serious from time to time, mostly when he is in his original form, but in day to day life, he is an energy ball. He jumps, flies, screams everywhere and gives off the impression that he is hyper from dawn to sunset. His reactions are big, would it be his happiness, his anger or his dramatic way to shout how life is unfair. He is not afraid to say what he has to say and he will not say it in the friendlier terms everytimes. Sure he doesn't really mean to be brutal, but he just doesn't have the same filter most would. He is rather enthusiastic of everything, though he has a particular preference for food and more so for sweets. He gets excited at the idea of eating and is fond of video games (though watch out, if he loses, he might throw a fit).

He is also protective of Sakura since she is his new Mistress and he cares about those he can call friends. Yes, even Yue. Even if the other guardian is not as opened as he is, he cares for him and is worried when at first there is a risk for him to disappear. It will not keep him from screaming injustice if he sees that Sakura treats Yue better than she treats him. Teasing and bickering won't stop him from being friendly, though he knows perhaps more than Sakura to leave the other guardian alone or perhaps is it just the habit that grew between them.

He can be serious as he was still created to guard the cards, but he was also created less severe and more open to change and novelty. He appreciates when new things come up and can get bored if nothing happens during a long moment and he can't distract himself in any way. Though he will trust almost everyone on the first meeting, once lost, this trust can be hard to regain. However, he doesn't like arrogance or those who allow themselves to answer him in a way he finds immature.

He is also bossy, demanding, borderline egomaniac and will brag about himself a lot. He loves to be the center of attention and all the little attention that makes him prettier or cooler, as shown by how he loves when Tomoyo dresses him. He hates to share, mostly when it comes to food and sweets. He is loud and he likes to have fun.

He is pretty much easy going but once pushed to his bad side, it can be hard to go back.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills: 

• He controls every card governed by the sun: Light, Firey, Earthy, Glow, Return, Big, Little, Create, Sweet, Power, Thunder, Fight, Shadow, Sword, Arrow, Shot, Through, Twin, Maze, Flower, Shield, Sand, Libra, Lock, Loop and Mirror. Those are the only cards that can be used against Yue.
  
• Sensing: What is called sensing is the fact that Kero can sense other's magical aura or presence easily. Clow Reed and Sakura are the only one that can hide themselves from him without difficulties. It also allows him to sense the Cards.
  
• Barriers: Much like Yue, Keroberos can create barriers and shield to protect himself or others. Usually only Clow Reed and Sakura can go through them.
  
• Fire Breathing: Kero can throw fire from his mouth.
  
• While in plushie mode, he can still fly but most of his powers are weakened such as his ability to sense magical aura and his fire based attacks. In this form he can also throw tiny fire balls.
  

 
History: Kero was created by Clow Reed as the guardian of his cards. Many years passed after the death of his Master and one day he fell asleep for 30 years before Sakura woke him up. Frustrated at being woken up, he then panicked when he noticed that the cards were gone. He gave the young girl the wand that would help her gather all the cards and followed her in her adventures. Quickly, he started to believe more and more in her, certain that he had found the right person to replace his former master. He knew however that the Final Judgment was near and when the final card was caught, he became worried for her protégé.

He was relieved when she won against Yue, happy to keep being her companion while she trained to become a better magician. Soon after Yue's verdict, another danger appeared. Upon sensing Clow's energy, Kero was confused. Their master was supposed to be dead. While it seemed that Sakura was able to hold herself despite her tiredness upon changing the Clow Cards in Sakura Cards, Kero noticed quickly that Yue didn't have the same luck. Dependent of the energy of his Master, his fellow guardian was quickly fading. Kero decided it was still too soon to talk about it to Sakura, it would only make her feel bad and Yue agreed.

When it seemed they wouldn't find a way, Sakura's brother was able to save both Yukito and Yue at Kero's relief. There was one thing less to worry about and Clow Reed's aura was well enough for his shoulders.

In the end, however, Sakura was able to change all the cards and Kero was glad to stay by her side. He simply doesn't want to think about the time when she would retired as well and the cards would have to change master again.

Storyline Specific Information:
Magician's favour:
Stronger now than she ever has been, Sakura is finally able to separate Yukito and Yue, giving them their own independent bodies, unknowingly sending huge magical shock waves through the magical community making many take notice of her; a young and powerful magician they have never sensed before, and they want that power for themselves. No longer do Yue and Yukito have to share a form. Summer drawing to an end, Sakura takes the next step in her life; college. Moving away to go to the college of her dreams was one of the hardest things she's ever done, but is not so bad when she shares an apartment bigger than her house with Tomoyo, Kero and Yue.

However, things are not as peaceful for long. A rival magician of Clow Reed's has caught wind of Sakura's powers and seeks to take cards from her. She faces many perils, designed to test her and her guardian’s strength before they are transported to another word where they need to fight for their very survival.

While these tests of strengths are happening, Sakura is trying to get Yue to loosen up, to see her as a friend and not just his Mistress. She's also getting marriage proposals from other magicians, seeking to get her power by political marriage rather than by force. Tomoyo being the ever-loving friend, tries to be as supportive as she can, silently pining away on the sidelines. Can Sakura and Yue come to an understanding and will the marriage proposals ever stop?


Keroberos is set on protecting his Mistress once again, bummed that their past with Clow Reed still come to haunt them and fall on Sakura's shoulders. He also has to learn to live with Yue under the same roof again, not that he totally mind, but he does wish the guardian will help around a bit, or he might sulk for a while. As for the suitors, Kero cannot help but laugh. One of the greatest magicians of all times is not an easy feat and not a lot are worthy of her in the guardian's eyes. Not that his opinion ever counts or is listened to anyway. But mostly he knows the future is filled with sweets, adventures and probably some more shenanigans provoked by the once upon a time existence of their former master.
