Some people chose a username that has something to do with the type of forum they join or a name or item that is special to the person, perhaps a favourite character. Whatever you chose, it's how you are identified online. It can be very difficult in this day and age to come up with something unique, that is true to who you are, but doesn't perhaps have a million underscores or numbers.
