What do you wish had happened in Sailor Moon? We are talking broadly about the entirety of the fandom, including what you wish had happened in PGSM or Sera Myu. Think of this thread as a source of potential for role-play ideas for the RPG Challenge! The theme of this month's RPG Challenge is "Alternate Universe."

This is a thread within the Galaxy Cauldron RPG, so let's focus on elements that we could role-play. In other words, let's not get hung up on things like animation or voice actors.

Really let your mind explore alternate universes. Every wondered what would happen if Sailor Moon combined with another anime series? Let us know!

If you see an idea in this thread you really, really want to role-play... Then go create a thread in the OOC and Discussion section and get that baby rolling! Don't forget to enter it into the RPG Challenge.

I wish the series had focused more on what had happened in Crystal Tokyo or the Silver Millennium. That is why I love role-plays that focus on two or three characters, so we can develop the relationships that went unexplored in the Sailor Moon series.

I wonder what would have happened if the sailor senshi knew Usagi was the princess of the moon the entire time. Would they have let her fight as Sailor Moon or become their leader?

Oh! You know what would have been really, really neat? It would be really interesting to explore how the series would have gone if the sailor senshi remembered their past lives from the beginning (i.e. as soon as they transformed).

i wish the series showed NQS pregnant and the whole experience of being a new mom. Not necessarily the whole road to motherhood and beyond, but exploring it enough for viewers to get it.

I really wish NQS and Endymion had a second child. Chibusa would still be the heir to the throne. But I would love to explore the second's child life ( I would like to be a boy. XD). 

The Generals being revived after Princess Serenity killing Queen Beryl.  They would live in Tokyo and help out when needed. Plus it would be nice to see Mamoru and the generals be friends. Mamrou has like what? One guy friend? Also it would be great to have them in Crystal Tokyo! If there is on coming threat they can go out and investigate. Everyone would expect to the Inners to handle it, but the generals could throw off the baddies.

Totally agree! I would have loved to see a little Endymion running around the castle, then someday he would become one of the generals :3

I wish a lot of stuff in the manga weren't so vague and just thrown together. I feel like Naoko kinda did the bare minimum when it came to adding depth to the story's lore. Crystal Tokyo, Queen Serenity's background, and whether or not Princess Serenity had a father or not are examples. 

The who thing with Cosmos' identity honestly feels like something she just threw together and was just like, "lol I don't know who she really is!". I know she has said that Cosmos' identity is supposed to be ambiguous even to her but that just seems like bad writing to me. I feel like an author should always know what's going on in their work and it's fine if you want to keep the audience guessing but you shouldn't be guessing along with them. Anyway, Galaxia's story really bothers me too because she's angry because her planet's "supposedly" trash and it just leaves me wondering...why? Was Galaxia's planet truly nothing or could it have possibly thrived if given the chance? We just don't get any background at all and it's wasted potential. 

I love the manga and Naoko but she seems to lack Rumiko Takahashi's ability to fully flush out all the characters and their backgrounds imo. That is why I also wish we could have gotten Codename Sailor V style stories starring Mars, Jupiter, and Mercury. Reading CSV made me really appreciate and love Venus's character. I really wish that we could have gotten a volume dedicated to the other girls since the light isn't really on them most of the time in the manga. There could have been stories about how they each individually stop small crimes throughout the city in between the main attacks in the manga. We could have seen Rei at her school, Makoto at garden club, and Ami at cram school. It would've been really great.

I would love, love to do a relaxed role-play of Neo-Queen Serenity journeying into motherhood. I think it would be absolutely hilarious and tender-hearted.

i totally agree with this as well. I always hoped for a mini mamo (well a lil boy in addition to chibiusa)

I wish they could have done at least a small OVA on society, history, and lore of the Moon Kingdom as well as the nine main planets and the four main asteroids (okay, maybe the asteroids is even more wishful thinking that the planets). I mean, it's very fun to speculate, but I just want to be able to READ IT ALL LIKE A GIANT HISTORY TEXTBOOK know what Naoko thought the Silver Millennium would be like.

I wrote a fanfic a while back (it's around here somewhere) about NQS and her royal baby shower for chibiusa :3 a relaxed RP would be really cute with maybe a baby shower :3

There is already a NQS Baby Shower RP in the Crystal Tokyo subforum. I should bring up in it's OOC thread the idea of a continuation of the plotline for a future RP.

Edit: Now I also really want to see a little Endymion in a RP.

That would be a great continuation of the plotline for a future role-play. If you don't suggest it, then I will, lol. ^.^

Nyota, you are in luck! We have just such a role-play called Birth of Silence about how Sailor Saturn came into being. And a role-play called Blossoming Love about how Luna and Artemis originally fell in love during the Silver Millennium.

This is also a good idea! If you wanted to turn this into a role-play that really got off the ground quickly, then I would recommend a 2-3 member role-play. It sounds like you already have some interest!

Keep it coming, guys! This is an exciting thread and there are some really awesome ideas for role-plays in here. Make your wishes a reality.

Oh! I have another one that is inspired by a fanfiction I read awhile back. What if Queen Beryl had awakened the sailor senshi as her allies, so those who rise up to fight the Dark Kingdom are actually Mamoru and his generals/shittenou?

I really want to know how in the world it was okay that Usagi and Mamoru eventually ended up being king and queen and created Crystal Tokyo. I know it's vaguely explained that some sort of ice age or something happened and Usagi saved everyone. But still, you can't just declare yourself king and queen of a city after that.

Yeah everything about Crystal Tokyo seems kinda sketch. It's a very cool concept but it's never explained very well.

blame my cracky mind....but what if Galaxia ressurected Queen Selenity and turned her into an animate? hell, what if she ressurected ALL the senshi's silver millennium mothers and turned them into animates?

imagine how painful that'd be for usagi and the inner senshi!! and imagine the outfits....  i wanna design now....XD

I think some interaction between Chibiusa and Seiya would be very cool to see.

Sorry for bumping an old topic, but I have a theory: I don't think Queen Serenity had a husband. Here on Earth, we need a man to procreate (in most cases), but Serenity wasn't an Earthling. I think she got pregnant some other way.
